I was looking for a lash place that was open after 5pm in the Kitchener-Cambridge area for a lash lift. Most salons are open during the day and closing appointments at 3 or 4pm without Saturday appointments open for lash lift. Gabby's location was the only studio that was open 5-6pm.
The location is near the idea exchange with a free parking lot right in the downtown section of Cambridge. The sidewalks are accessible but the entrance may be difficult if you require automatic door or need assistance with a getting in. But Gaby and her associated are pretty approachable so I think if you call in advance need assistance, you could arrange that. At least no stairs to climb.
When you arrive, there were about 3 chairs setup and music running, air conditioner running. Simple. There is no formal siting area to wait, but I don't see it as disturbing to customers because those being worked on- their eyes are closed. So...how should this bother them. The location is female staffed, feels like a safe space.
Gaby did my lashes in 40min and provided a complimentary styling stick and gave me the tips for care. Can't wait to return.
Tap, credit card, accepted here. Lashes were done on Oct 12, past two weeks they were still curled. I am notice the shape is losing a bit, but can be fixed with clear and black mascara. For me, it may not be holding as I'm using oil based eye drops periodically around my eyes that do affect the longevity of the look- since you have to be oil free, no waterproof mascara. So my two week report is not reflective on the typical customer commuting to oil free products around the eyes. read more
