Stopped in to update one of our iPhones we were greeted as we entered the store then Joey introduced himself we told him what we were looking to do and we proceeded to complete the update, it was a very painless and professional experience our account representative pulled up the account to verify eligibility- explained the options, we made the decision to upgrade the phone to the IPhone Xs Max, we agreed to the terms and conditions backed up the existing phone to the cloud then downloaded it to the new phone and verified all the information transferred and left the store - there were no high pressure sales pitches to buy additional services or warranties, we were in and out of the store in less than an hour... read more

I had a very concerning experience at the AT&T Store that I believe others should be aware of. On December 20, while traveling in Louisiana for business, my phone was stolen. I stopped at this location to purchase a replacement device. The sales associate, Dejana, assisted me with buying a new phone, which I believed was a straightforward transaction. However, in April, I visited another AT&T store and discovered that an additional line/account had been opened under my name during that December visit--without my knowledge or consent. Since then, I had unknowingly been paying for this unauthorized line for months. I filed a fraud complaint with AT&T, but was told that the account was "authorized," which is extremely concerning given that I never approved any additional services beyond replacing my stolen phone. Based on my experience, I question the practices at this location, as it appears there may be incentives to open additional accounts for commission purposes without full customer awareness or consent. I took an elderly lady to return a phone which was very hard for her to learn to use. The employee who originally sold her the phone assisted her in doing the return. He made the remark that he would lose money by her returning the phone. I feel that's not professional. Ive had an ATT phone for many years as well as the lady I took and have never witnessed that kind of behavior from an employee to a customer. Recommend customer satisfaction training. read more

This store on Prien Lake is the bomb! Dejeona (DJ) was the most professional sales person I've ever dealt with while buying anything ! She answered all my questions and then some! I have attempted twice to do business at Prien Lake store. Both times it was a nightmare. They are not very knowledgeable. They don't take responsibility for their errors. Customer service and support here is by far the worse I have ever seen. Was told by the assistant manager Zach that he was the highest level of management there. He lied as he is just the assistant not the general manager. He was so rude and had an I don't care attitude what I say goes. I will never be back to this location, and I do not advise that anyone uses them. Derek Drive is so much better, always kind, and they look out for the best interest of their customers. However, if you have problems just call the customer service line, they will take good care of you. Or better yet just go to Derek Drive to begin with. read more

Worst customer service ever. The rep did not care about my problem nor attempt to help. They sure take your money selling iPhones but forget getting any kind of help if you have a problem with one. They will wipe their hands of you. GO SOME PLACE ELSE TO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. The one on Prien Lake Rd is the worst. Got my new Iphone 5 from here and I was not happy when a month later I found out that they had signed me up for a protection plan with out asking me first. I called ATT and got the 10 monthly fee removed. read more

This review is for the U-Verse internet service. I went to the LC store when I moved here in early June of this year. I was enticed by the nationwide name of AT&T and the 100$ visa gift card that was promised me at the time of signing up. That being said...It is now Sept....I still do not have the gift card nor do I have "always on" high speed DSL service! I have called customer service several times only thru go through the horrible automated system, and then get reps that I cant understand Whoi dont want to troubleshoot my issue they just want to send a tech to my house! Which is fine if I thought something was wrong with my lines here at the house. ( there is not I have had them checked twice!) So after signing up in the 1st week of June my internet goes down at least once a day for about 5 - 10 min! There is no patern that I can tell it can happen whenever! I call and am told that there is nothing wrong!? And they would be happy to send a tech but if nothing can be found that it will be a service charge to me of 50 $! The last time I called was last Sat as it went out at about 8pm....by chance I had my wife call her parents (they live 2 houses down and have internet / phone with AT&T!) to see if their interwebs was working...it was not and the home phone was out as well! I asked the tech on the phone if there was any outages in the area...of course he said no! I asked really cause my parents live 2 doors down and their phone and internet is not working, he said oh! I truly felt like he did not care or perhaps had better things to do...like perhaps get back to tetris on his phone! So after feeling totally fustrated and angry I hung up and decided that I had had enough and was going to cancel..... So Tuesday (yesterday) me and the wife head to LC to the AT&T store there and proceed to ask about the 100$ gift card ( was going to try and at least get my 100 bucks before I dumped them!) They cant find my account! Oh by the way this happens everytime I call! the only way they can find me is if I give them my account number! Not by SSN, phone #, name, address nothing! the lady helping me just sat at her pc looking utterly dumbfounded! So I asked her if her pc had internet ability, she said yes, I saiid can I log in to my account and get the account number. She said sure. So I took over got to the internet ( she did not know how to do that!) Once I logged on I was able to go into my account and get the # she needed. Soooooo after looking for a few min she had me wait while she talked with her manager. She came back and told me that promotion had ended right around the time I signed up so she was not sure how I would get my 100$ bucks! But she would open a ticket and see what she could do and call me. I gave up hope at this point but she assured me that if nothing else I would get 100$ off my bill as a credit. (not the same thing to me as far as I am concerned!) So to make matters worse I get home last night after running errands with my wife and guess whats not working....INTERNET! I call again and this time the tech (whom I could barley understand due to his accent!) does not want to troubleshoot anything and says he will schedule a tech to come out today...So its a few hours later last night and the internets comes back up like it was never down? So long story short while I was on the phone with the tech last night my wife called AT&T to check on the status of our 100$ Visa card and was told that when we signed up we should have been giving some paperwork that would have informed us that after 30 days of service we should have sent in the paperwork to get our giftcard.....needless to say we were given no such paperwork at the time we signed up nor have we got any mail to state that! So now I am writting this Yelp! review and waiting on the tech to come to my house and at that point I will inform him that oh hey my serivce is up now! And in about a week once we get the visa card ( my wife took care of it on the phone with the lady and we got the ball rolling and will getting our card in a few days to a few weeks!) I will drop AT&T like a hot potatoe! AT&T you SUCK! I will tell all my friends and family to avoid AT&T like the plague! read more

if i could give less than one star i would. i called into att to cancel my services because for my husband and i our bill hit $270 a month for our two cell phones. my husband has a flip phone and i have an iphone 10. after talking with att corp we found out that the sales reps at this location have been taking advantage of us and they added three lines to our account when i upgraded my phone last. i filed a complaint with att corp and i'm filing a complaint with the attorney general about this location. read more

I recently moved from Houston to Lake Charles. I have been an AT&T customer for almost 20 continuous years and this experience is testing my ability to remain an AT&T customer. First, and this store can't control this: Lake Charles does not have U-verse, and we specifically left Direct TV only now to be told that's our only option in the area with AT&T. I signed up with no other option after being told that Direct TV has really improved since I was last with them in 2015. The AT&T techs arrived to hook up our internet and Direct TV only to find out that our street was inadvertently left off the AT&T engineering plans. The tech can see the wiring on our street (newer but not brand new street in Graywood subdivision) but he can't hook us up since their system can't define our house. This will have to be reported to engineering and fixed by central office. No one can tell me how long this might take or how it will be done. Seems we're inventing gravity here. Went back to the store to report this- they try calling it in to AT&T main office and are told by their own reps that this can't be accurate and the local reps just needs to manually enter the order with my address. This is actually what the initial rep did to process my order which resulted in the techs driving up to the street next to mine when their system defaulted the manual order to an address their system would recognize. Still waiting on someone at AT&T who can figure out how to unbreak this totally broken process. I'll give them another week then I'm headed to Suddenlink. Been a nice 20 years AT&T! Seems you're getting too big for your britches. On the other hand, the staff at the AT&T store have been polite and as helpful as their limited knowledge will allow- It's just not producing results. read more

I recently switched from cricket to AT&T because my phone had quit charging and I work from my phone so needless to say I kind of need my phone. When I initially bought the phone I was happy and everything was good. Recently I decided to add WiFi for my home to my plan because that is literally the only company that comes out that far. I wasn't happy about it because I wasn't very familiar with their WiFi so I was skeptical. After going in and speaking to Jordan I was told that "the only way I could get WiFi where I live is to get cable (directTv) too". This should have thrown up a red flag for me but like I said I wasn't familiar with their WiFi. So I buy the cable and take home my WiFi box and set it up. The next week the cable guy comes to set up the dish and asks why I chose direct tv I go on to explain everything and he tells me I was lied to and that I never had to buy cable. At this point I want to tell him to leave because I don't need it but I don't. He goes on to explain that after the first month I can cancel it. I tried getting in touch with the manager but never got a call back! If I could switch back to cricket I would! I understand that they are in the business to sell but all they did was waste my time and money! read more

This is got to be the all time worst customer service I have received in my life. You would have thought I ran over the guys dog on the way there. As the other review he signed me up for tech support which I didn't ask for. Also, I asked for the most data I can receive he gave me the 8 gb instead. So, I would say it was a fail on all fronts. Started asking the guy about the new phone I got. He looks at me like I just grew horns. I have since switched to T-mobile w/ unlimited data. It took me 4 months to getting around to writing this but, since I had gone to the T-Mobile store up here in the NE and received such good customer service, I remembered what horrible service I received there. Not to mention, a month after I buy the SII Galaxy the SIII comes out. I mean really. Oh, and I had to go back for something else and the people there were just well, pretty unhelpful. I went in to the store to see about pricing in switching from Sprint. The guy said he was going to run my credit to see if I needed a deposit. I asked why he needed to run my credit and he just kinda avoided the question and said "Oh don't worry, it's not going to go against your credit score. It's just checking like your payment history and stuff." Well, I checked my credit score a couple days later and guess what? It did go against my credit score! And my wife and I are trying to get our credit in the best place possible so we can refinance our car, so we can have more money to payoff other debts, hence the whole reason we went to see about how much we could save. Besides the useless credit check, it was an okay experience. Without that, would've been 5 stars, but that is enough to bring 5 stars to 1 star. Maybe next time, ask if the customer would like you to run their credit to see if they needed a deposit. We went looking into switching that day. Just looking to see what the monthly cost would be. Absolutely no need for the credit check. Thanks a lot AT&T. read more
