WORST STORE EVER. We were conned into extra lines for better service since we live in an area with spotty coverage at our house. They promised it would be the same price or even cheaper in the long run. We had tried for over 6 months to get the booster lines removed with constant lies from the store on steps to take to get our bill down. Workers here are very rude and no help. Con artist working there. I went in to change my cell phone plan, to make it less, they said they could and said I could have a free iPad too, wrong. A month later I find out, I'm paying for it, 36 months of payments, plus my bill doubled They added also 2 more numbers on my plan, and they can't take them off, I have to work with AT&T on the phone for that. Worst Company in Cody by far. After my wife and I got married, we wanted to add her phone to my account. Unfortunately, her phone was too old and couldn't use sim cards anymore. So, we had to trade her phone for an upgrade. We were promised that the upgrade would be free, but we ended up being charged for it. Confused about the charge, we went to the store and asked why. They told us there would be a two-month processing period, and then we would receive credits for the charges. We agreed to wait, but after two months, we were surprised to see another charge on our bill. I went back to the store and talked to the manager about it. He said that sometimes these things happen and told me to wait one more month. This has been going on for more than nine months now. Every time I go to the store, they say they're still "working on it." I finally gave up on the store and called customer service. After spending a long time on the phone, we found out that they accidentally gave someone else the credits we were supposed to receive. I went back to the store to talk to them about it, and that's when I found out what had happened. They never bothered to tell me. I'm still paying the full price of the phone, and I'm getting screwed over because of their mistake. I've called customer service multiple times and gone to the store countless times. I asked to speak with the branch manager, but they wouldn't let me. It's unbelievable that they messed up, but I have to do all the research to find out that no one is going to fix this issue. A few months ago we were conned into adding lines to our plan to give us extra coverage and were told that it would actually save us money monthly. But our bill is over 220 more per month and it has been an uphill battle to get this fixed. I have been with AT&T for over 20 years and I regret the day I visited this store. I spoke with 2 other AT&T stores and a few people thru the customer service line and all have told me that I was screwed over so that the employee at that store could get a commission. The service here is very poor. Employee was the most unpleasant person. Rude. Told us that because we didn't purchase our phone from that location she couldn't help us or answer any questions. WTH???? We are ATT customers and had some questions concerning how to transfer info. She rudely responded and said it's on YouTube. You can go there. Um. Ok. Not helpful. Worst customer experience ever. Att stores should help ANY AT&T customer with questions or concerns. You are better off calling customer care than going here and being treated like dirt. The employee could have been nice. But she was undeniably rude and didn't smile. Treated us like we were taking away from her day in which no one else was in there nor was she doing anything important. So disappointed with AT&T. bought 2 phones that were'nt ported right in the first place and never got one of them to ever work. Took them back 4 days later to return them and they say that they can't return them in the store. I call the number online and spend an hour and a half with a lady telling me that i have to return them in the store..... This place is a scam do not go there. They lied and told me 5g was available in my are which it is not. In fact straight talk had better reception and i was switching from that because it's gotten to be not very good. This whole fiasco has been unreal. I have almost 14 hours talking to at&t on the phone and over 8 hours of sitting in that store and all i have for it is phones i cant return and phone numbers i've had for 20 and 12 years now lost. read more

This store says they are open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, I was there on Monday, August 21, at 11:00 a.m. and they were closed with a sign on the door saying, "Back at 3:00 p.m. Therefore, I returned the next day Tuesday, August 22, at 3:30 p.m. The door was locked even though the sign said: "Open." I got in my car to leave and an employee came out and said to me: " We will be at lunch until 5:00 p.m. and then we will be here from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m." Wish I could take a one and half hour lunch where I work. I have no idea what hours this store is open, but it is definitely NOT from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. like their website says. We do not live in town. It is a 30 mile round trip for us to travel to Cody and solicit this store. We can't afford to waste gas. My husband and I are switching back to Verizon. There is absolutely no customer service in this store...first you have to be open. read more

I live in Cody and have been to this store numerous times....NEVER AGAIN! I went out looking to up grade to a Galaxy s10 e. Nothing was on display so I asked if they had one. The sales lady said yes they did have one. I asked if I could see it's. She told me I could but only if I was going to purchase it! Her reasoning is ..they Would have to sanitize it if I did not buy it. Who spends 600 dollar's with out seeing the product they are buying? I said never mind I will go to Billings and spend my money there. If the merchants in Cody want us locals to shop local they should be more willing to work with us. This store is worthless for anything other than selling you a product. They can take your money and that is about it. I have no use for them and will not set foot in their store ever again. The girls in the Cody WY store really know how to run a good scam. Sure, move over from Verizon, trade in your phone in great condition, get a free new phone, and all you pay is $50/month, plus taxes. Seems simple, right? Nope! My first bill was $170!!! Five of the charges on my bill were bogus - Activation Fee, Installment Fee, Next Up feature, Upgrade fee. Plus, I actually declined the Protection Advantage and Support and they added them anyway. I never reviewed a quote or signed anything. They just stack your account with all these extras and you have to call the 800# (not the store) to get them cancelled. It's a slimy sales technique so they get the $$ sales bonus/commission on the upsell features and a pat on the back from their corporate office. As soon as you leave the store, you are dead to them. We called the store within one hour of switching from Verizon they refused to help, instead tell you to "use the myatt app or call the 800#". Oh and a nice little bonus, they signed me up for the wrong plan altogether. The children running this store are completely inept. Close this store. Terrible customer service and likely fraudulent. read more

Complete liars. All three girls worked the scheme called, "I don't know, it she-does, and did I say that? Sorry I did not mean that your old phone would work, that it could not be unlocked, and by the way, if it does not work, no refund! " Liars. Liars! Jennifer is the manager, Sasha works there, and Ashley. They asked me a ton of personal questions, which have nothin to do with buying a service. They are dishonest people, but very slick in the way they work you. Watch out. Beware, do not shop here. When I left, my old phone no longer worked, they killed the SIM, and it would not unlock to use the att service I bought from them, and my current phone service provider would not unlock my phone. My phone was purchased in Anchorage, it was not working properly so I took it to Cody's AT&T Authorized Retailer, 1st time there was 1 person at the counter, 3 people in the line in front of me. She was trying to help 2 people at one time, did not work! I felt I was treated like I had a stolen phone, she asked "where did you get this, who bought this, why was it purchased in Anchorage" Then was basically told I was not on the contract as an "authorized user" so NOTHING could be done, Felt NOTHING could be done because she had 7-8 people in line behind me. Not her fault but the management certainly is at fault!! Next day, took it back in ( with authorization as a user on the account) totally different guy, he said he "was stumped" at the issue, and "it is an Apple issue NOT an AT&T issue", he would sell me a new phone, certainly would not give me a new working phone, told my husband he could sign us up for Direct TV and give us a great deal on a new phone. MY PHONE WAS 8 DAYS OLD. He also removed my wallpaper photo and my passcode was removed as well??? AT&T Authorized Dealer in Cody does not deserve to be using the AT&T business logo, they are only there to sell not to help or service any AT&T items purchased anywhere else. I also needed a $50.00 case which I purchased at Walmart because of the way they treated me. My phone ended up being a simple fix done through the Anchorage store. They do not deserve to be called an authorized dealer for AT&T. CODY AUTHORIZED RETAILER ------- MAKES AT&T LOOK REALLY BAD!!!! I do live here in Cody have for 35 years and honestly have never felt like I had to write a bad review for any business here, people are basically good but that guy working that 2nd visit should be fired. read more
