Faster network speeds than pretty much anyone with great speeds and coverage. The price is high and they keep wanting to push you towards a limited data plan if you have unlimited and try to make it seem like a good thing. They also are on a kick to get you on a plan to pay for your phone over the course of your contract, but if you go online you can still get subsidized versions which I prefer. Overall not bad, rough around the edges worth regards to pricing. Most of the people at the locals stores are helpful and polite read more

Carrie at the clarksburg Emily drive store is an absolutely horrible customer service rep and extremely rude to customers. Came in to get a new line and phone left going to T-Mobile!! She gives little to no info other than call the help desk. ( what's that number ). I asked what's the point in stores if they can't help. She reply's well we sell things! Do better AT&T and fire her before you lose more customers read more

History

Established in 1876.

AT&T has been in the technology business since--well, since the invention of the telephone in 1876. Ever since then, we've grown our company and found new ways to connect people to what they love. Along the way, we've invented or pioneered the use of all kinds of technologies: rotary phones, TV, mobile phones, transistors, transatlantic and transpacific cables, communication satellites, touchtone service, the 911 emergency number, the Unix programming language, fiber optic networks, VoIP service, and more. Today, we're a world leader in communications, media and entertainment, and technology. Now that we've acquired both DIRECTV and Time Warner, we're building a truly modern media company that will create the best entertainment and communications experiences in the world.

Emily drive is the WORST place to go for help, instead opt for one of the Verizon stores that hosts employees with a shred of competency, which that old hag clearly lacks. When I explained that bill specific questions obviously can't be answered by the Google machine, she hung up on me and refused to answer my calls until I called from a different number. I say "Ma'am, that was thoroughly unprofessional" I was met with her trashy, conceited attitude and she began SCREAMING over me speaking. And then she once again hung up. Is she senile? Too many cigarettes effecting her brain? Unsure, but surely the establishment will immediately know which employee I'm referring to.

Ever since we got their service, we could not access the wifi and had to use Cricket cell service. I went to the store and they said there was nothing wrong with the phone or service that it was with our Internet. I called the Internet company and they ran a check and everything was good. This went on for the duration of our service with them. I recently got a text that I was eligible for an upgrade, so I went to the store. They told me that they never do that and I'd have to pay for the upgrade. They also said that the people who had worked for them had been fired. I explained that I had done this at least twice in the past for free. Apparently now you can only get a free phone is to be a new customer. This is how they treat their loyal customers. So then I started calling different companies. They asked if my phone was locked? I had no idea what they were talking about. I pulled up the MyCricket app and searched it only to find it was locked. Went back to the store and they said they couldn't unlock it . I called customer service and was on hold for 45 minutes until I was finally connected to a person. She was very nice and did unlock the phones. Now I find out that I can only sell the phones to Cricket or AT&T customers. Talk about a whole lot of bs and being held captive by this company. I'll never recommend them to anyone.

I am in fact a Verizon customer, and anyone from yelp can contact me and I can provide proof of this! I am NOT in anyway affiliated with, related to Verizon company or it's representatives or employees. The reward credits and rebates I received were part of a incentive program that was running at the time of my purchase and I was not offered anything in return for a positive review. My experience with Verizon and our local branch was nothing but positive and I should be able to share that with others who are looking for a credible and reliable phone service provider. My previous review REPOSTED below, because I can still see it in my console although it didn't show on my work computer. I have nothing but good things to say about Verizon and this store! I walked in as a pre-paid cell phone user for the past 7 years after previous cell phone company experience and customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. The reps at Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport were the best! They even helped me step by step work through my rebate process and I got a lot of buyer rewards points that go toward my phone bill as well as a free gift for one of my cell phone purchases. They listened to the individual needs of each of my family members and now we have 4 new cell phones and I couldn't be happier!

The people here really know their stuff because they really use the stuff they sell. If something is a poor choice for a particular customer they will say so, which goes a long way in my book. They carry a myriad of different vendors batteries, tanks and juices but don't carry much of what I consider to be low quality items which many vape shops are known for. They are patient and will work with someone to make sure they get something that works for them personally. My wife quit smoking about 3 years ago thanks to some of the very first volcano brand devices and we've moved to every improved model since then. I've can't say I've ever walked away feeling like I got anything less than excellent service here. Sure you can buy cheaper online but a few bucks is worth having someone to make recommendations and return a product to if it fails, plus I like to support my local economy.
