After waiting patiently for 1.5 hours to have my number transferred to ATT just for the Wi-Fi calling feature, I told the rep at least three times I wanted the $40/15gb monthly pre-paid plan. after checking online when I got home, she signed me up to their Ultimate $90/month post paid plan without permission. Now I have to go back two days later to talk to the Manage because he/she is the only one that can correct their mistake. read more

History

Established in 1876.

AT&T has been in the technology business since--well, since the invention of the telephone in 1876. Ever since then, we've grown our company and found new ways to connect people to what they love. Along the way, we've invented or pioneered the use of all kinds of technologies: rotary phones, TV, mobile phones, transistors, transatlantic and transpacific cables, communication satellites, touchtone service, the 911 emergency number, the Unix programming language, fiber optic networks, VoIP service, and more. Today, we're a world leader in communications, media and entertainment, and technology. Now that we've acquired both DIRECTV and Time Warner, we're building a truly modern media company that will create the best entertainment and communications experiences in the world.

She said she'd handle everything and told us to bring the old part back to the store asap.
