They carefully watered the ground before laying down the sod and they transformed my backyard from a pile of dirt to a lush green oasis. Deposit was paid in mid-February, which was rather significant (thousands of dollars) as it's 50% down. I was told the front yard would get started in 4 to 6 weeks, which means as early as mid-March of 2022. After several calls and texts over the past 3+ months, I'm STILL WAITING on my front yard to be completed. Every time I ask for an update, excuses are given and completion dates are never provided. In early May I requested a refund of my deposit. James immediately replied and got his crew out there within days to do the demo / removal of old landscaping on a Tuesday. He told me everything would be installed by that Saturday. Two plus weeks later I am still waiting, but now my yard is in poor shape with everything torn out. I've been giving James the benefit of the doubt over the past 3 months until I recently read a review on Yelp from Dawn S. Please scroll down and read it - it is very similar to what I'm going through. If James and his crew turn this thing around and get my front lawn done, plus provide a refund of the deposit for the backyard, I will update this review accordingly.

(mowing and edging) They never showed up. Called the office. Apologies and lies from Jess the secretary. "I will have them come right away". NOT. Called again 5 days later....."I show on our GPS tracker that they arrived at your house the other day." Liar. Called again the next week. "I am elevating this to priority status and we will take care of this for you." Nothing. Grass got so tall there were snakes roaming through the lawn. I then called and asked for a refund. "Of course, I'll put you down for a refund." That's all. No retention attempt, she just hung up. 3 weeks later we still didn't receive the $80 back. I contacted my lawyer, Ted Starr and he sent a letter demanding a refund. No response. This is fraud. Elderly abuse, or whatever you want to call it. They are DBA now as Royal Palms Lawn Care. I have photos and proof of my payment. This company is the worst.

Needless to say I don't want him painting my house if he does is bad a job painting as he does cleaning. I refused to pay him a dime. He accused me of theft of services and threatened to take me to court. I have a video of my walk around at the home and no judge in their right mind would rule against me in my opinion.
