The walls of the kitchen island are very flimsy, definitely not wood. We were hearing street traffic and even conversations of people passing by on the sidewalk. Our front room has 14 foot ceilings and oversize windows, making it difficult to find a contractor comfortable with taking on the project of replacing them. Jonathan and Danielle were recommended to us and they seemed very comfortable about working with the old style windows, including their shuttering and the balancing needed for weights. They went about their work very professionally and we were very pleased with the job they did. Our living room is far quieter that before and it is not at all obvious that the windows are so much better insulated now.
