Whenever I'm in need of care for my vehicles in Calgary, I go to Murrary. Murray and his team are awesome and honest. Ask any questions you want and he will take the time to explain everything for you. Including if you think it is a little pricey and he will explain what it takes so you can make an inform decision to go ahead or not. He will also give you other options, for example, the rocker was cracked and it was going to cost $450 just for the part alone. He suggested that since it is at the bottom of the car and no one really sees it, (if I wanted to) he could take it apart and repair it instead of replace it, cost would be around $250 all in. There is a reason why he has been in business for so many years and I don't believe he is over charging people, he isn't driving around in his Porsche or Ferrari. We have been a customer of Murray's for over 25 years . I have taken my mother in laws vehicle, our two kids and our vehicles to him. He was always a little pricey but felt he did good work. This last time was the last straw and we will not ever go back. I had a rock ding on my passengers door, he quoted us 500. We thought 500 was ridiculous but it is a new vehicle so decided to get the work done .When I picked up the vehicle he charged me over 950.00. I said the quote was 500. He told me he had to paint the drivers door as well to match the paint?????? I said you should have called me then. I felt totally ripped off. The ding on the door was 2 inches. My husband emailed Murray to tell him he was upset and Murray didn't even give us the courtesy to reply or call and fix this situation. I guess he doesn't value his customers of 25 years with a call or email. Will be looking for a new Autobody shop read more
