Dismissed as a sense of unworthiness.  Instead you lacked your doctor's ethics on the strength of a low pay wage gain to the  practice!  You showed me your true self... I was having a melt down and I asked to see a Nurse. A certified and experienced health official in that office. You have this new staff at the front desk none of the old experienced medical staff available if they are still with the practice! However, what I encountered on Friday, May 28, 2021. I sever all ties with this establishment/business practice(s).  Let this be your first and last time insulting me as a human being, a sick Patient, my intelligence a highly educated individual with a Master degree, Magdum Cum larde, Female of color, a child of God, someone's Mother, Grandmother, daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin & friend....Let's not forget where we come from for the sake of a dollar $$.  As long as I have my sound mind and can speak I have the right to ask for a experience health official over a non licensed and inexperience certificate administrator concerning my health. I once had high regards and respect for you as a person and a professional. This is my LIFE  that you do not dictate any organs in my body.  Let's be clear I inherited you as my doctor, I was referred to this practice well over ten year's ago at Holy Cross Hospital and my two doctor's one retired and the other one expired God rest his soul. This is how you became my Doctor and neither of the two would have EVER spoken to me in a non empathetic an unprofessional manner. As a physician you never even tried to figure out if I was I okay or have a experienced license health care staff come to see if I was I okay or if I was experiencing anything instead you just wanted to read me the right acts in the presence of a inexperience child practicing on my health at your expense. I am 62 yrs old and 5 months I was born just not yesterday and I have every right to ask for whomever when it is directly related to my health and my medical record. Don't you ever forget that. Maybe you was having a bad day and if that inexperienced young lady have to stop or intervene on you while practicing on another patient every time she encounter a issue you will never be successful. I asked for a Nurse! And I want others to know my experience with this office and the Insurance carrier they may want to be careful doing business with this establishment!  I will not be returning and will also be taking my elderly Mom to another Cardiologist Practice as well.... I do know of other Cardiologists in this area for I was born in Washington, D.C. and I have had nothing but the best physicians practicing on my health all my life for Medicine is a science. Where to begin??? The cardiologist's​ office called my primary care doctor's office to argue with them about a referral code. They were abrupt and rude. My primary care's office is so great that they would not argue with them and performed Associates in Cardiology's duties and contacted my insurance company for them. Separately, I received a call from Associates in Cardiology's office about the referral. He did not identify himself and instructed me to call my doctor's office to get the referral straightened out. He had no information for me to reference and told me that my physician's office had been very rude. I then received another call from a female who said that the referral number was wrong. So another round of doing their job for them ensued. Against my better judgment​, I decided to show up for my appointment. The young woman who performed the test was very pleasant and told me that the results would be ready later in the day. I told her that I had an appointment with my primary care provider on Monday to go over the results and was told not to worry because they would be sent the same day. After sitting in my doctor's office for an hour waiting for the promised results, the doctor was unable to access any results from Associates in Cardiology. The front desk called Associates in Cardiology only to find that the results had not yet been sent. I should have followed my intuition and gone to another practice. I was referred to another cardiologist during today's visit only to find that the new practice had the same phone numbers but a different address and a slightly different name: Associates in Cardiology. RUN, DO NOT WALK away from both Associates in Cardiology and Cardiology Associates if you value your health and peace of mind! I am in the process of going to Healthgrades to review cardiologists so that I can pick my own doctor. read more

One of the most disorganized offices I have experienced. Yesterday, they had me scheduled for the wrong test and when I explained this to them they argued with me.I had to wait 20 minutes for an echo and listen to the office try to get 25 dollars from a patient. First of all, the office moved! They are no longer at Holy Cross Hospital but off of Linden Lane by the old Castle. This means FREE parking! Dr. Lincoln may be the only doctor on earth who can set my mind at ease. He is thorough and kind. He takes his time with each patient and I have never felt rushed. The rest of the staff is equally wonderful and professional. read more

I saw Dr. Peter Sabia and he was incredible. Very knowledgeable and kind. He takes his time with you and very gentle. Oh did I mention he was super hot? My heart skipped a beat when I saw him. I almost wanted to go back and see him if the copay wasn't so high. read more

I have been treated by this group of doctors for over 10 years. Every visit there, I am treated with respect and privacy. The technician who performs my nuclear scan every two years is so compassionate. I have had the privilege imof being seen by all the doctors and with our exception they were wonderful. A series of unfortunate events occurred during our first time visit with your office. My Aunt (the patient) was scheduled to be seen today. She had a pacemaker placed in June 2017 in Puerto Rico. They recommended her to see a Cardiologist three month after this pacemaker was placed. The unfortunate disaster in Puerto Rico happened in September and destroyed the Island. My Aunt was forced to come to the United States for obvious circumstances. Her primary Insurance has been unable to provide her with any information or referrals to Doctors in the United States because they lack electricity. She was told that she could go and see the doctor of her choice due to this disaster thru disaster relief of the Federal Government. When we arrived to this office we were greeted and given the proper paperwork for the appointment. Later, a women, Elizabeth asked us to approach the front desk and told us we could not be seen today, because the office does not accept her Insurance. I asked her to please call the primary Insurance for pre-approval because of the circumstances of Huricane Maria they allowed us to be see with anyone that accepts medicare. I gave her the information and she returned and told me they are not answering the phone and medicare said the primary insurance which has to be called first for approval first before medicare accepts responsibility. I told again to call the primary insurance for a pre-authorization. I explained to her they will approve because of the disaster relief program that is included in Federal Law/disaster relief. She refused and said repeatedly that we do not accept Insurance and if I want to be seen I must pay $175.00. I asked a Spanish speaking employee to call and she did, but the Elizabeth told her to hang the phone up. My Aunt tried to explain the process to her , but she asked my Aunt to be quiet So I saw Dr Sabia walking by and spoke to him about the challenges that we were facing with her unwillingness to assist us. He spoke to her and the final resolution was completed. The Insurance approved her visit and we were seen. My Aunt was asked to undress in the operatory as part of the exam. Elizabeth stormed into the room asking for our insurance cards.. I asked her to please close the door, because my aunt was undressed and she huffed and slammed the door. Dr. Sabia came into another room as we were escorted to another room and asked for the Insurance cards. Meanwhile, all of my insurance cards were previously scanned prior to us going back. Frankly, I am shocked and appauled at how my Aunt was treated in this office and I will be filing a formal complaint to the Maryland Board of Physicians. My Aunt, could not stop crying. This was humiliating and traumatizing for her. At the front office, there were so many patient's waiting to be seen and witnessed this embarrassing event. I feel our privacy was not respected and we were treated improperly. I believe it's important and fare to provide a reasonable effort to assist patients with special accommodations. read more
