LOL. for a week,. to see a friend really.) he goes to esteticaa for his dental stuff regularly (teeth whitening normally. coz he smokes too much) and he tells me that this dentist is a cosmetic dentist too and they do botox. something ridiculous like £180 for 3 areas or something and i was like, "what?! no, seriously?" and it was true! cheaper than anywhere else in London! I got my first consultation than booked an appointment 2 days later and it really was very very good. professional, and cheap! (apparently jeremy kyle goes there??) anyway, yeah, i recommend this place.

I was admitted to the McGill Ward on 30 Jan with a possible clot on the lung. The ward was very…read morebusy, I was seen quite quickly and all necessary tests were made quickly. Thank goodness it was a chest infection but was kept in overnight because my oxygen levels were low. My only complaint was the ward was dirty and looked run down and tacky. The loo was horrible, not clean and patients urine samples were left there. Even mine! I was told to give a sample leave it there and a nurse would sort it out. My sample stayed in exactly the same place where I had put and was still there when I left, the same goes for the other samples, they never moved.

I have been coming to this dental practice for nearly 15 years since I moved to the area - I've…read morenever wanted to go anywhere else. I'm a real coward when it comes to the dentist and this seems to be getting worse as I get older but everyone at the practice is aware of this and helps me as much as they can. Mr Bateman is excellent at talking me through exactly what he's going to do and why he needs to do it and keeps me updated throughout on how long it's likely to take. The dental nurses are very good at chatting to me (when it's appropriate to do so) to distract me from what's going on. I can't say that I'll ever look forward to going, but everyone at the practice takes the time to make me feel as comfortable as I can which goes a long way to taking the fear out of treatment

While it specializes in outpatient care, it has almost 600 beds and one of the most successful A&E departments in the country (by that I mean low mortality rates). A lot of the outpatient care here caters for cancer patients. Located right next to Surrey University, the hospital offers training and practice opportunities to some of the students, but also benefits from latest medical research and has some of the most progressive treatments available currently on offer. Constructed sometime in the 70's the hospital building isnt very easy to navigate but it's not big so this usually isnt a problem.
