I would give them zero stars as they made a mistake by taking $350.00 cash I gave them to deposit,…read moreand they didn't, and continued to take $350.00 out of my account. This was May 8, 2025. It is now a week later and I still do not have my money back. Freaking cashier did a horrible job. Also if you try to call them, good luck because they are short staffed and NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. When you finally get through, you Are told they will call you back but NEVER DO. THIS BANK SUCKS AND THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE -- it was all their fault but I am the one paying the price

Thank God Almighty I'm free at last, free at last…read moreBye, bye Wells Fargo This review is not so much for this particular location of Wells Fargo as it is for Wells Fargo as a whole and they suck on the hole. Go back 7 years ago or so and I arranged for an auto loan through Wells Fargo with a private seller on Car Soup. Went to the WF location in Eden Prairie to finalize the deal. What should have been a half hour (tops) deal ended up being a three hour ordeal. They could not get in contact with the regional office or corporate office or wherever in order to finalize the transaction. While we are waiting and waiting, the Wells Fargo lackey there pulls me aside and solicits me for a personal line of credit. Told him no, not interested. Thought that would be the end of that. Week later or so get a letter from Wells Fargo saying thank you for opening your personal line of credit. WTF? That shady mofo. This was many years before they got completely busted on this bullshit business practice. I knew back then I wanted nothing to do with them anymore. Unfortunately, I had my mortgage with them. Ugh. Transfered all my money to my local credit union, but kept a shell checking account for many years. Finally got rid of the mortgage and decided to be done with them. Went in to the local branch to cash in some coins and close it all out. Get to the front of the line and told they don't have the change counting machines anymore. Are you f'ing kidding me? This is 2017 and you are going backwards. Instead, they make you count and roll your own change before they will give you cash. The gal that I closed out my account with was friendly enough, but insisted on counting and rolling the coins for me. I was like if it is going to be more than five minutes, no. She persisted, and I relented and Wells Fargo wasted another half hour of my life. So glad to be done with them. Bank small and local! Peace!

A few months back, on a Sunday, I wanted to purchase a high dollar item from an acquaintance, but…read morewe found no payment sources we both shared. I bank at US Bank, she at a credit union, so we looked for the closest open US Bank where we could meet. As a first timer, it was difficult for me to find, unless already knowing it was tucked inside the left side of vestibule of the grocery store. The gentleman assisting me was courteous, and we quickly determined that the most appropriate would be cashiers check, and within a few minutes, it was in her hand.

**THIS IS THE IN-STORE BYERLY'S US BANK LOCATION**…read more I was just in to the US Bank branch at Byerly's in Burnsville, MN. I went in with a non-US Bank customer who was coming in to cash a check drafted on US Bank. The gentleman teller went through the process to cash it, had it signed, took a fingerprint on the check and then as he began to count the cash out to the non-US Bank customer, he stopped and informed the customer that suddenly there was a fee to cash the check at US Bank drawn on US Bank. He then said "oh, you didn't know?" to the person - in a condescending fashion. Needless to say, of course the person didn't know there was a fee because the teller neglected to tell him. I spoke up and stated that I found it strange that there would be a fee for a check draft on a US Bank account AT US Bank. The teller said "every bank charges non-customers to cash a check drawn on the bank when cashing them". I replied that was not the case to which the teller said "well which one?" So I replied that BMO Harris Bank did not charge non-account holders on checks drawn on BMO Harris Bank. His response was "well, no big banks". I replied to him that Wells Fargo does not do this. I expressed concern to him that if I am to write someone a check from US Bank that the bank would either be un-willing or un-able to cash it without a fee. He said it was because cashing checks drawn on US Bank at US Bank was risky. I was floored! I asked him if he meant that the person cashing the check was possibly a criminal and that was why it was risky or if it was because US Bank might not have the money to cover the check making it risky. He told me "I don't understand your thinking". The entire time, he was snide and rude to me - making me feel not at all like a valued customer of 20 plus years. I ended up signing off on the check so that it could promptly be cashed as a second party check (apparently that is no longer "risky"). Needless to say, this experience has made me VERY skeptical about using US Bank for my banking needs. The bank charges clients for a checking account, collects interest on the funds I deposit when they loan it out and then tries to charge the person I issue the check to if they would like to tender the check at US Bank. This goes FAR past double dipping and is not only TERRIBLE customer procedure but possibly predatory. Add to that the unprofessional and degrading demeanor of the teller in the Byerly's Burnsville, MN US Bank branch and I am made to feel VERY unwelcome and VERY unwanted as a US Bank customer for either my personal accounts or my business accounts.
