Dishes brought table side were heated to bubbling with a trolley mounted propane burner, which was a nice touch. And this was the second appearance this week of a sort of heated table top food warmer, a metal plate that sits on the table and keeps the food warmer. Maybe this is common overseas? I've never seen it. As long as you're not dumb enough to touch it and burn yourself, it's a really great idea. Combined with what seems to be universally warmed plates in Ireland and the UK, are Europeans really unhappy when they always get rapidly cooling food in the US? Of other note is the ultramodern style - tinted glass, neon lighting. It almost gives off a dance club vibe? But it's cool. Especially the large tropical fish tank, which is at least entertaining. It's too bad this is outside the town center. It didn't seem to be suffering for patrons, but we'd definitely have stood a better chance of noticing it.
