I have been with Aspire a few months now. I wanted to have a full experience across the scale before I left a review. I am beyond grateful and pleased with my therapist Fatima. She is absolutely amazing and the best advocate any patient could ask for. This young lady goes above and beyond for her clients and it shows. She listens and is very attentive. If I have ever had an issue this young lady makes it a point to let me known I am seen and heard. I could not have asked for a better experience stepping back into therapy after several years. Now on the other hand, as far as scheduling and admin. They need better systems in place and a team that actually picks up the phone for their clients and responds promptly. The front desk and admin department is an absolute mess and unorganized.... Please, if you get lucky with a great therapist and decide to continue your journey with Aspire, document EVERYTHING!!!!!! keep a record of all communications...So there are no discrepancies on your end. I have been going to aspire wellness center since they opened maybe 14 years ago they have helped me so much in life to this day I still speak to someone once a week and my psychiatrist once a month everyone there is caring understanding and they do not judge they are wonderful wonderful people and I don't know where I would be without them. read more

I've been attending sessions with Aspire now for a couple of months and my Anxiety has been improving over that time. The therapist has set a plan of care and we have been working towards helping be able to manage and providing the tools needed to help me manage. I've also seen a psychiatrist to receive the medication I need and she has been very friendly. read more

DO NOT GO STAY AWAY!!!! Absolutely horrible place. I had my first session 3 weeks ago since then I have not had another. Why? My therapist, Ann, cancelled our appointment 4 hours before by automated message and here we are OVER A WEEK later and I still have not been contacted for a reschedule. I have reached out myself now 4 times. Still nothing. They're clearly in it for the money and don't care about you at all. read more

Aspire is a great organization they offer stability as far a there therapist. I've had my same therapist since 2019 and I'm great ful for that. The therapist are great but the psychiatrist and hit and miss usually a miss and when you get a good one they end up leaving soon after. I've had multiple ones who hold your past against you. They talk to you like your not worth nothing and everything you do is wrong even if you do what they tell them. so in my opinion and experience this place is amazing if you need a therapist but if your looking for a psychiatrist/ med provider your better off going some else. read more

I have been going here for over a year and I am very impressed with the staff and their genuine concern for my wellbeing and my improvement. Four months into my treatment for bipolar I suffered a traumatic brain injury and everyone came to my aide and helped are still helping me heal through the most difficult part of my life. Sure, there have been some medication meds ups and melt downs due to that. Appointments have not been made or forgetter to be cancelled. But we're all human we all make mistakes. Aspire is being to venture into group therapy which is fantastic! It's been life changing. This place really tries to try all types of therapy to help their clients. This was the only place in the area that "supposedly" could fit my daughter in. No one else had availability and since she was really struggling with anxiety attacks, I decided to give them a chance although I was a little hesitant due to the reviews below. The intake coordinator called us and talked to both my daughter and I for about 30 minutes. We were told a therapist would be reaching out within 24 hours. No one reached out until months later. Been coming here for three years, and really have no complaints. Sometimes I feel like my meds doc is a little overworked and isn't hearing me well, but the quarterly reports you give them ARE heard. My therapist has been working with me and my meds doc to help make our relationship more trusting and open, because I end up telling her more than I tell him anyway. The front staff has always been very nice to me, I've had no issues with them. The only thing I took a star off for was the fact that they do seem to be a little overworked and underfunded, which I suppose you can expect for a place who helps the less fortunate. Not a "horrible" place by far. They've even started this thing where they give away free toys and books to families in the summer. Like a big yard sale with no prices. They've got problems and their therapists are much more compassionate than their medical doctors in my opinion, but it's still a blessing when you can't find anything else. read more

The entire facility feels like one big scam to me. I stopped going about a year ago after they kicked me out of the program I was in for an entire year. Everything that can be wrong, is wrong with this place. The therapists talk about themselves more than you, the psychiatrists force as many medications on you as possible, and the staff does not care about your well being. This place honestly demolished the last bit of mental health that I had before going. They said I had missed too many appointments, which led them to kick me out. This is just not true because I've only missed appointments due to last minute emergencies and have called prior to the appointment and rescheduled. Somehow they still consider this a "no show". Very inconsistent some staff is great and helpful others rude and not compassionate. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They cant keep therapist. I have had 5 in two years and every time you get a new one its like starting all over not only meeting a new person but paperwork too. I have anxiety this place makes it worse not better. I would have given Aspire a better score 6 months ago but their lack of empathy for a situation they caused really made us not like the way they respond to their patients needs. My daughter has an illness that requires her to have home therapy. Therapists come and go so quickly at Aspire Wellness that it feels like a revolving door. One therapists only came one time and again my daughter was expected to start over and tell them everything from the beginning. It's exhausting to say the least and no one wants to keep rehashing the past. First my daughter's doctor moved his practice to another state and then her home therapist left for the umpteenth time. Everyone at Aspire Wellness is offered home therapy, there is no "priority list" for people with severe medical reasons. Even if you lack a ride you or just want them to come to you ---you can get this service. My daughter has rare illnesses and scents, emotions, anxiety etc have physical ramifications on her body. They issues can cause anaphylaxis if strong enough. The perfumes and air fresheners leave her physically, mentally and emotionally ill for hours. I've explained this over and over and over. After this last therapist left she was told to go into the office for appointments until they found someone new. It's been about 4 months of pure torture for my daughter. She is sick for hours after leaving these appointments. The staff basically said they are trying to find a replacement and that if she cannot tolerate coming in then she should look elsewhere. As you know when you have a difficult case it isn't easy to just "start over" and it is extremely difficult to hear this from a place I so respected once. read more

The staff turnover is a bit ridiculous and that usually means management issues. They only accept Medicaid which is nice for people that need the mental health care and can't afford it but unfair to others who also need mental health care and would like to be seen by their staff. The office staff will answer the phone uppity and giddy but will turn nasty in 2 seconds if they don't like or have answers to what you've said or asked. When you work in the mental health field, you should have better training or classes before you speak to patients and their staff clearly doesn't. read more

The staff operating the front desk was very unorganized, disrespectful, and ill equipped. They seem very kind until an issue presents itself. An appointment I made on the phone, over a week in advance, was never booked in their system. Instead of helping me resolve that issue, they tried to turn me away and have me reschedule it for another day. Instead of answering my questions they told me to have a seat and ignored me. My therapist was amazing and the ONLY reason I would return. The front end staff definitely needs to be educated and further trained on people skills and customer service. read more

What is the purpose of an on-call physician in psychiatric care, if you can't get a doctor on the phone after hours? Or you cant get a on call doctor to come in and provide patient with a prescription of the medicine that they are currently on that can't be called in? Given the runaround after a staff schedules patient's appointment when a day and time that new staff is available. The staff did nothing except for the patient can make it until they reopen after the holidays without medication. Even the crisis center disagrees with their decision, if you're looking for psychiatric care you want somebody that's available via phone at all times correct? This is not the place. My daughter has come along way, and it infuriates me that the centers so-called professionals would allow this lapse in judgment of any other staff members. Someone needs to take action and not allow such horrible medical decision when it comes to her youth. As long is the staff is Home comfy and cozy with her family, they could care less about their patients. read more
