I can't give higher because this is something important that should be mentioned before scheduling people but it's not so bad that I it warrants a lower number. Note to self, make sure to verify whether or not a dentist you're looking to see is in network for your insurance, or what the cost difference would be if they are not .

Please read my experience with dental care at the Smile Center as a warning of how things can go wrong at this dental office. I live in Florida, but spend the summer in Europe. I always have a routine dental cleaning in April before I leave. My previous dental office moved to another city. For this reason, I registered with Dr. Ashley Wagler at Smile Center. I had a mandatory new patient exam scheduled for April 7, two weeks before a dental cleaning appointment. I didn't have any toothache, but Dr. Wagler aggressively talked me into getting crowns. One of the crowns in the treatment plan was tooth 31. The temporary crown was placed the next day. The day after, I had pain in the lower right quadrant. I informed the office about the pain and requested the dental chart. In the past, the dental chart was always included in the treatment plan. To my surprise, the dental chart showed that the position of 32 was empty, and the wisdom tooth was placed in position 31. I was unable to discuss this error right away because Dr. Wagner was out of the office until April 14th. When she returned, I learned that the crown is ready for the wisdom tooth. There was no apology for errors on the treatment plan and dental chart. I pointed out that she didn't discuss with me an alternative treatment option: removing the wisdom tooth. Dr. Wagler's answer was: "For me it was only one option." Every day I had tooth pain and woke up often at night because of it. The placement of permanent crowns was scheduled for April 17. Just before cementation, Dr. Wagler handed me a consent form to sign. I asked for a written statement about covering the costs of wisdom tooth removal in the event of problems with this tooth. Dr. Wagler refused it. She angrily said that she would place the temporary crowns back. At that time, this option was not feasible. I only had a week before my flight to Europe, so there was no time to visit the new clinic. After the permanent crown was placed, the pain did not go away. Dr. Wagler said pain can last up to a month after the crown is placed. It's been three months, and I still feel pain when cleaning my wisdom tooth with a water irrigator, drinking cold drinks, and taking hard bites. This is a highly stressful and unfair situation to be in. I am upset, anxious, and I am looking for ways to protect myself. I hope Dr, Wagler will take responsibility for her dental malpractice.

Everyone was great, from the moment I walked in the front door to the time they helped me out to my vehicle. It was a very enjoyable visit.... as enjoyable as going to the dentist can be. I will be back in 3 weeks to start my journey to a healthy mouth! UPDATE: I have been to this dentist office twice and I will be back again. The staff is absolutely amazing. My first visit went great, I was supposed to go in for an evaluation. the staff ended up making room for me, to have a cleaning (which I desperately needed). I ended up over paying for my visit. when I asked about it they already applied my credit to my account. My most recent visit is what prompted my review. I went to have my wisdom teeth pulled, I was so nervous. Once I was in the chair I realized I had forgot my headphones and there was no way I could have this done. Even for a normal cleaning I have to have them. I apologized to Dr. McCarty explaining I couldnt go through with the pulling, she said nonsense and let me borrow hers. The staff goes above and beyond each time! I highly recommend them.

My experience with Comfortable Care Dentistry over 3 years…read morewas very poor. Corporate owned and it showed. I felt dentist was only interested in upselling services and tactics included intimidation, questioning my level of concern, not interested in talking to my insurance and saying "that was my job" and months after paying for service would bill additionAl charges. Finally say Yelp reviews averaging 1.9 on 5 scale. Now very happy with quality professional service from family owned & operated Precious Dentistry, rated average 4 plus!

They stand behind their work. I had a problem with my dentures, and they took care of it.read more

I initially visited Wellen Family Dental for treatment on a single tooth. That tooth was extracted,…read moreand I was then advised to consider a partial denture. However, I was never provided with any written information explaining what a partial denture is, how it would fit, or the potential risks and side effects. From my very first appointment, I clearly informed the office that I have a severe gag reflex. Despite this, the partial was still recommended without any documentation or discussion of how this condition might impact my ability to tolerate the device. Because I could not proceed with the partial due to my known gag reflex, the doctor then recommended a bridge. Again, I was not provided with any written disclosures outlining risks or possible complications associated with this procedure. During the bridge preparation, my tooth was shaved down excessively, which appears to have irritated the nerve. As a result, I have been experiencing ongoing pain for several months. When I returned to have the procedure completed, I was presented with disclosure forms to sign, after the work had already been started. I was not comfortable signing these documents at that stage. As a result, the dentist refused to complete the treatment. I am now left with an incomplete bridge procedure that is causing me ongoing pain, without resolution or completion of care.
