i went to get 2 bottom front teeth fixed with filler on the edges, something i e been getting done for years, they ended up removing old fillings and refilling them even tho they didn't bother me to begin with, then tried to sell me a night guard and when i said no, then she tried to make it so my front teeth could "wear" anymore and built up my eye teeth--- leaving me unable to have ANY of my teeth touch except those and i wouldn't be able to chew food up! i made her grind them back down and said i want my teeth the way they were and ill deal with the "wear"! the place is like a cattle call, and charge you like crazy to do work not needed! never went back! i mean seriously build up my eye teeth so the front won't wear? They lie to make patients think they need more procedures than they do, they misrepresent their guarantees until it is too late to stop things, they overbook and keep patients waiting for very long periods every time after the first visit, they are not less than other dentists no matter what they advertise. I had brand-new dentures from a dental place in Mobile, AL. When we moved to Michigan one of my tooth fail out. I asked them how much it cost to replace one single tooth. I was quoted $200 to replace a missing tooth on my denture. I was also told $6000 for a full set of dentures. I don't think $200 for a single tooth is overpriced, but this has given me a bitter taste. read more

Dr. Li and Alyson, Amazingly preparation, gave me a football to hold while tooth removal began just to hang on to something. Gave me a sign to show if I couldn't handle the procedure or if I needed a break. Asked how I was doing throughout the procedure, if I needed breaks. Took the time to describe what I would feel before and after the procedure, walked with me to make sure I was good to go after. Used all the proper tools. Took their time and did not rush. Made sure I knew where I was at after procedure, what date, what office. Amazing!! I was in and out and felt bad it was over because I had such an amazing experience with the both of you. Not sure where to start. The front desk worker Chase seems cocky and condescending. Very off putting. For my last set of crowns, they forgot the local and went straight to 6 shots in my mouth. Hurt terribly and all I got was *giggles* sorry. And now the reason that I canceled my 11K treatment plan: I've been getting the run around for FIVE weeks regarding the crowns that were supposed to replace the temporaries. Had I have known that I was quite literally going to get dicked around and left in pain for over a month, I sure wouldn't have even started the process with them. I needed a tooth pulled out and that's all. Aspen told me that I needed all of my teeth pulled out and to get dentures. course I did not do it because I knew they were wrong. It's been three years never had no more problems with my teeth are solid as a rock did nothing but liars and scammers so please don't be scammed because they will do everything they can to get every cent they can squeeze out of your pocket. I personally know that because my wife went through a bad experience with them getting dentures cost me $4000 and they're worthless because the uppers are so cheap and cracked in half because they did not fit right fell out of her mouth into the sink. I set up an appointment for a chipped tooth as a new patient. I left with a list of $1000 worth of work that they want to do.. I was told i needed to come up with 1/2 the amount before they'd do anything. I called back a month later because the tooth that chipped is decaying to schedule an appointment for JUST that tooth, they proceeded to tell me I need to pay for a cleaning first. when I said I just want my tooth filled and my insurance covers it totally.. I was told there weren't any appointments available for months out! What a scam! instead of doing work desperately needed that is covered by my insurance, they insist on doinf things that are NOT covered while my tooth falls apart! I really don't think they actually care about your teeth, it's all about money. A good Dentist will work to save your teeth. read more

Made an appointment for my who had knocked teeth out and had them dangling. Showed up and they told me no appointment is made and we would have to been seen as a walk-in. Very rude office staff not sure of her name but just kept telling us we would have to wait to see if the next appointment would cancel and then wait if not... no sympathy or care that there "corporate" screwed up not an apology even. They were rude to the patient in front of us as well she walked out frustrated as well. Make an appointment with a real dentist facility not the McDonald's fast food feel of this place. I'm really thankful to be able to go to an office that explains what they are doing and allow you to feel comfortable. Their office hours work great with my work schedule and appointments are easy to make. I will definitely return and refer my family and friends. I have been going to the W. Saginaw Aspen for a few years, never had a problem. This past 7/20/21 I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning and I had to cancel it. The person on the phone rescheduled it for 11/26/21 at 2pm. Perfect! Not. That was black Friday and they were CLOSED. They gave me the date, how do I know what their holiday hours are, 5 months in advance. So, on 11/26/21 I started calling to see what happened, but really to just reschedule. No answer, so I left a message. Since then I have called 3 more times and each time I leave a message. NO ONE has returned my calls. Today I reached out to Aspen Dental in Okemos and guess what? Someone answered the phone on the third ring and I have an appointment in two weeks to get my teeth cleaned. She said W. Saginaw is really short staffed, i get that, so is everyone. However, isn't there an office manager or someone who handles the messages. If Okemos wouldn't have been able to get me in, I would be looking for a new dentist office. 33 days and no return call from W. Saginaw. I hope the people that own Aspen see this and can address this with that office. read more

I got dentures in 2013 that were on sale and of course they try to sell you more expensive one and offer the credit card but I had refused. The dentist didn't even talk to me and when I tried to ask a question she walked out on me. Now three years later the dentures cracked between the front teeth to the back. I went back to have it fixed and the first thing they told me was the warranty was over which I already knew. Anyway the dentist has to look at the denture to see if it is fixable and someone else would fix it. It would cost me $212 if it is fixable. I believe I only paid $399. When I complained that the dentures were only 3 years old they said I bought their basic plate. So their dentures last about 3 years. I still have my old dentures that are 30 years old. I guess I will stick with them. read more

The staff at the Saginaw Aspen Dental are awesome!! The lady at the front greets everyone that walks in the door by name!! You sort of feel like famliy here. The xrays are quick and Dee is gentle she talks you through them and doesnt rush. The hygenist that checked my gums was quick and did well at explaining my gum issues. if you dont have that Oral B...GET ONE its a life changer! Anna helped me condense my treatment into a montly plan where I could get all my work done and after insurance only pay 27$ a month for a YEAR with interest deferred! The doc is wonderful and the office feels like home. Thank you for all you do you for me and my family! read more

Everyone at this office is so friendly. They are also quick and efficient. The receptionist, Anna, was very friendly. She helped me schedule three different appointments and helped to work around my schedule. Courtney, Jennifer, Dr. Seela, and Dr. Lucas were all kind and caring while having my cleaning, fillings, and a tooth extraction done. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible. read more

I regret going to Aspen Dental very much. Wish I had paid more attention to all the bad reviews I had read and ignored. They definitely use high pressure sales tactics to get you into some big bills fast. Don't worry though because they have you signed up for a credit card before you know what is happening. I should have stopped things right there but I wasn't that smart. Over my approximately 15 visits I saw 5 or 6 different dentists. They just get anyone in they can for any amount of time they can. No one seems to actually work for Aspen. Some things went fine such as cleaning, fillings, basics. Bridge prep left me in horrible pain. I kept returning and they would look and say I was fine. One dentist woman practically accused me of just being there to get drugs. She very begrudgingly gave me a script for ibuprofen which I was already taking anyway so it was worthless. Over 3 weeks I took all of that script plus a 500 count bottle of extra strength ibuprofen, and then some more from another bottle. Finally after getting my bridges put in the pain went away. When getting one bridge adjusted I mentioned a little bit of pain when biting and instantly had a script for Vicodin thrown in my lap. Of course I didn't need it at that point. After all this and many visits to adjust one of the 2 bridges I am left with a very reduced ability to chew on one side. The last few times I stopped in they said there's no problems with it, touched it for a second with a drill, and sent me out. I can not bite down on it. My real teeth on the other side are full of "mountains and valleys" while the bridge is nearly flat. Seems to me that is the problem. I really wish I could sue them for a partial refund (some work is acceptable) but I do not know how to do anything like that. All I can do is tell everyone I know to stay away and pay my credit card bill. read more

I read the reviews before my appointment and they were terrible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking others who wrote may have had a unique experience and mine wouldn't be the same. I was VERY WRONG! I went to the office and waited 40 minutes just to be called back and I had an appointment. Then none of their machines were working properly and they had to do xrays over and over until their machine would work. From cramming the xray probe in my mouth so many times, they even made my mouth bleed. I explained to them I am tongue tied and that I have medical reasons as to why I cant fully open my mouth and tongue and after trying to find someone who knew what to do apparently they came in and told me to hold it anyway. Then I had to wait almost 45 minutes just to see the hygienist. She was actually very nice and professional as was the doctor which I cant complain about, BUT the dental exam rooms are shared so you can hear everyone else's concerns, problems, xrays, etc. NO PRIVACY! They sent me to the office manager who explained how much everything would be. I have insurance mind you that normally covers everything. They said I needed all these products ive never heard of just to rack up more costs. They expected me to pay almost $700!!!!! And not to mention the products I chose to buy, that I actually needed, the OFFICE MANAGER overcharged my credit card because he rang up the wrong services after I was clear as to what I could afford to pay for because after all $700 is ridiculous. He then told me he would just add the remaining balance he overcharged me to what I would owe before I could make another appointment. I was confused. So you want me to pay $700 before you are even allowed to make the appointment for the services you need done. You actually are required to pay for services you haven't even gotten done yet just to book an appointment for next time when the services will be rendered. This is a joke. I can go to a regular non-corporate dentist and get the same work for a fraction of the cost. Oh and my fiancé needs dental work without insurance and it would be thousands of dollars to fix 4 teeth. I can get the same work for around $1200 at a normal dentist. Everyone I know and have talked to refuses to go to Aspen and I know why. Absolutely terrible. read more
