went in for replacement dentures and they filed with delta dental( which they are PPO dentist) and delta sent back claim they would pay 70% and I would pay 30%. I called several times and they kept saying they were getting stuff from Delta but never returned call. Was scheduled for a check up and teeth cleaning. They didn't clean my teeth at all. Which means that I have to wait another six months to get my teeth cleaned because of insurance. They had four people in the room at once trying to scare me about my tooth health even though I brush and floss my teeth every day. They said I had all sorts of things wrong with my teeth and it was gonna cost over $2000 to fix. I went to another dentist and all of a sudden these "cavities" weren't found.. it's a money making scam and they don't care about their customers. read more

I was very disappointed with Aspen Dental. I was uneasy and I was there for 2 hours and all they did were X-rays. I've been seeing a regular dentist for 25 years or more every six months and only got 1 cavity in 40 years. Then my place of worked closed down and I retired so my insurance changed and my regular dentist doesn't except my new insurance. So I went to Aspen to get X-rays and my teeth cleaned but my teeth didn't even get cleaned and they said I needed 2 fillings and I'd be put to sleep to have my teeth cleaned. NEVER have I been put to sleep and they said it would cost me after insurance over $2000.00. I believe they are in it for money and think some of use are stupid. They offered me a payment plan with 19.90 percent interest. That's ridiculous. Needless to say I don't want to go back I was very disappointed with and uncomfortable to say the least. Aspen Dental has a great staff other than DAN RANGITSCH.... He has no respect for his clients or staff any any office he is at. I went there thinking i was going to see the Dentist i had my first appointment with Dr. Rajadeep (who is a wonderful lady who i highly recommend seeing) but instead this jerk came in and did not have any bed side manner. numbed my mouth and then came back 3 minutes later and started pulling on the side he last numbed. i felt it all and when i tried to tell him i can feel, he stated oh you feel that then kept going... he pulled all my teeth in less than 10 minutes and he broke 4 teeth. After he broke the first one he stated he was making a game out of it to see how many he could break. he also would not do anything i asked and was speaking badly of the staff at the Poplar Bluff office. He even went as far as calling Dr. Rajadeep, Doctor Ballsdeep... is that not sexual harassment ??? I had the worse experience and do not recommend anyone seeing the Doctor Dan Rangitsch. He needs fired!!!! He screwed up my mouth in this process. i am truly traumatized by what happened, so please do not see this Doctor. read more

They x-rayed the wrong tooth. Dentist spent less than a minute with me. I'm not sure he was the dentist because he never introduced himself. They didn't offer to X-ray the correct tooth when I pointed out the mistake. Was told it was absessed but didn't prescribe antibiotics. And as for a free first visit/consultation it cost $105 to see the doctor because I was in pain. read more

Avoid at all cost. This office is concerned with only money and not professional dental care. Was told my total cost for my wife's dentures would be a total of $2400.00 inclusive. They demanded full payment at first visit, including the final dentures which were 6 months out. The finance director on call said I could pay all expenses except the final dentures which were $451.00. when we went back, they said I had to pay the agreed upon money today or it would go to collection. I was told that the girl I spoke to should not have done the agreement and I would not be seen unless I paid. Reluctantly I paid to continue the process. After the procedure, my wife was not healing and the swelling and pain was intense. When I called to get her an appointment, I was told the first appointment was more than a month away. I explained that my wife was in pain and was to,d there is nothing they could do. I was forced to see a dentist in California, who stated that their was still teeth and roots that was causing the pain and needed to be removed and do not use your temporary dentures until they correct the surgery. After the month, and only eating soft foods and soup, only a dental assistant put some gel in the temporary dentures and would not let a dentist see me. After explaining what the dentist in California had told us, they still would not let a dentist examine me or even take exrays. Finally on the third trip, 20 days later, a dentist saw me and scheduled surgery within two days. When we arrived, we were told there would be another $261.00 needed. When I complained, they said this was not covered under my denture plan. I said this is not ethical, and was told no surgery would be performed until this money is paid. I reluctantly paid so my wife could have some relief. After 2 hours of surgery and intense pain, the surgery was completed. My wife is at the same spot now as she was in early September with much more time to wait before getting her final dentures. The worst is still to come. Yesterday I received a bill for $1731. Which was the amount of the insurance payment. The insurance was denied because this dental office was not in network. They were informed of this in by Delta Dental in September. They purposely said my insurance was approved knowing if they were not in network, I would leave. Now in the hands of a attorney. read more

Aspen dental in Poplar Bluff Missouri is a big rip off I have a very large dental benefit and the work that needed to be done and including a new denture didn't even touch 50% of my dental benefit Aspen dental Denton never sent in a preauthorization to my insurance company lied to me and told me they did then tried to charge me $700 for my dental plate when I called my insurance and my insurance company talk to them on the phone and told them that my my dental plate my partial was covered and my insurance company told me not to pay anything that they are to submit the bill as soon as I hung up with them they walked in handed me a bill for $680 and told me that my insurance company just called them and told them it wasn't covered when I was just on the phone with my insurance company when I went in for my impressions they cut my mouth with the impression plate was very rough and it hurt me and they didn't care I have filed a complaint with my insurance company and also filed a complaint for insurance fraud against this company do not go to this company if you have insurance they will rip you off. I got a new smile and I absolutely love it! This office is so very friendly and caring toward the patients, I'd never think of going anywhere else. The lab tech Julia done such a great job! So natural looking. My dental assistants were completely caring and compassionate. Lots of patience was shown for me. Dr. Shukla is by far the best, calmed my nerves and was very professional and has a great chair side manner. From the front desk to the back, this place has got it going on!
