Wish I could give no stars. This is the worst dentist office I have ever been to. They lie, and scam you. I first had to go in for a pre-screening thing, they made me do a scan of my mouth, did not ask if I wanted it or not. I was then told I had to pay for the exam in order to schedule my actual cleaning, I did not want the scan and they forced me to pay. I scheduled my appointment, received multiple texts and emails confirming the date and time as the appointment got closer. The day of the appointment, I got a new text message stating my appointment time had changed to 4 hours later than originally scheduled. No one contacted me about this and I did not request a time change. I was very confused. Still before the appointment, I received a call from Aspen, they asked if I wanted to change my time from 11pm (which was the new time i did not agree to) to earlier, but still later than my original time. I explained this to them and they had no idea. They lie, and change appointment times without asking you. Months after my appointment, I receive a bill for $140 or so. My insurance should have covered it, and leaving my appointment, I was told I was all set. I call them to figure this out, and the woman on the phone said this was the fee for the exams for new patient, and is part of a new patient package and they will cover it. Then why send me the bill? If this is something included for all new patients, like you said, why bill me? Hoping that people get the bill, and just pay it. This company SCAMS. TERRIBLE. read more

I had an excellent dental cleaning with Elena at the Aspen dental office in Plover, Wisconsin. She is thorough and very friendly.

ATTENTION: If you are in need of DENTURES It is a must to go to Aspen Dental in Appleton Wi. I went over 6 months without teeth because my "dentist" couldn't get them right after two sets were made. They refunded my money and I called Aspen Dental and they got me in the next day. WOW...how fast they work and how efficient! The waiting area was full each day I went in and that speaks volumes! I was greeted by a VERY friendly front staff, then taken back for X-Rays and then I met Dr. Leyes and the compassion and expertise was impressive. Oscar the dental assistant was so pleasant and cheerful. Something that is lacking and hard to find these days. I was so pleased with the fit of my denture that I cried when they walked out of the room. I explained to them that I am crying because I am HAPPY. There was suction with the fit. I would stay away from anywhere that does digital dentures. They might look nice but fit....no way!!!! Dr. Leyes put so much plaster goop in my mouth that I had no doubt they would be a great fit. They brought in the DENTURE MAKER/Technician to meet me. I had a chance to thank her also. Aspen Dental did for me in just a short 2 and a half weeks what my dentist couldn't do in over 6 months! Awful place that takes advantage of senior citizens, dosen't ever want to get prescriptions forwarded to pharmacy's. Have to get on them to do so, so doctor's have to get on their case. If you're still looking for confirmation, yes, Aspen Dental is as bad as the other reviews imply. My appointments are always canceled 1-2 days before with an excuse that a 9 year-old could conjure up. Either this dental office has 1 hygienist and they are always sick/injured/on vacation, or more likely, this branch is horrifically mismanaged. Aspen Dental will jerk you around with appointments and schedules and bad excuses -- save your money and peace of mind, and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Looking for a great dentist and a new dental team to take care of your dental needs? Call Aspen Dental Plover location it was an excellent experience. My first initial exam and x rays were free since I was a new patient with out insurance. Dr. Reyes was very though rough about my treatment and Alexis from the front desk was very helpful/friendly and answered all my questions with the information I needed. For my appointment I was only in to get the exam and xrays that day But they got me into their schedule right away that day for an extraction after my exam and xrays. Pro's: Once you can get an appointment, they are not to bad. The are personable and efficient. Con's: They accounting department is sub par. I had a pre-authorization for a yearly checkup and cleaning. I kept getting bills from them for the better part of 9 months until I told them they really need to be working with the insurance company and not me. Second item. My wife recently had an issue with a tooth / crown. She was in severe pain to the point she was taking, motrin, Tylenol and oxycodone to dull the pain (this was a Saturday Night). She called for emergency services, they said they would notify the doctor and he would call her. She never got a call at all. Monday morning she called to get seen. Their response was, we cannot see you until at least March. We are booked up. We have now changed providers for tooth care for my family of 6. read more

I had an appointment for dental cleaning etc. today. Just had to write a review as I am one of those persons "scared" of dentists. I am new to this area and so glad I chose Aspen for dental care. The office personnel are very pleasant and helpful and actually care about the patient. A person is not treated as just another client. The hygienist Elena is the best hygienist I have ever encountered and I have traveled a lot and visited a lot of dental offices. She actually cared about my comfort during the cleaning..ie I never felt like my mouth couldn't possibly hold any more water before it was suctioned out which happens quite often with other places. She seems to have this "6th sense" when it comes to patient comfort. And her work is great!!!! I was late when it comes to getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months due to a recent move from TX. There was no suggestion of a reprimand for not having come in sooner. Elena just did her work and my teeth feel and look great. She was pleasant the entire time explaining the oral cancer checkup, fluoride treatment and cleaning. I will now look forward to visiting the dentist. I have read other reviews and know I was not over charged for any service. In fact I was surprised at the low cost compared to other places. read more

The office manager of the office called after I posted this review and someone from Aspen Dental corporate must have required that he call since I left several messages prior and he did not return my calls, He was very unprofessional, offered no apology and implied my experience was normal. David, office manager and the staff at Aspen Dental, Plover WI assisted me in a friendly and timely manner. I broke a tooth and went in for an exam. They found I had a few cavities as well as the broken tooth. I was scheduled a few weeks out to begin having my dental work taken care of. However after a few days at home one of my teeth began really bothering me. David and the customer service staff worked with the schedule and got me in as soon as possible. If you want to be charged for a procedure you were not told about or authorized during the cleaning or have the dental hygienist 3 times try to talk you into buying an Oral-B electric toothbrush from them and then have the dentist tell you he cannot do anything about a bad tooth then visit Aspen Dental in Plover, WI. After getting the bill I talked to and recorded the phone conversation with the managers permission I was told the unauthorized procedure bill would be removed from my account. A month later I got another bill. Another recorded phone call with his permission he finally took care of it and sent me a statement showing a zero balance. I said to remove me from their system as I will never go there again and now I get a phone call telling me it is time to setup my next appointment. I originally told the manager David I would not post a review if he took care of it all but now I get bothered to set up an checkup appointment so I guess he did not do as he said he would.
