Then not too long after...she informed me that all my teeth were rotten and said I needed all my teeth pulled (the fixed teeth also). This is where I should have gotten a 2nd opinion. So she pulls all my teeth and we decided (husband & I) to at least get implants to hold dentures more securely. When she was done with this I had 2 implants close together...I mean right next to each other and two on the left that were also quite close but not as bad as the right. So she fits me with dentures and of course...THEY DON'T FIT!! $50,000 plus wasted and we then found another dentist to fix this. Jennings never returned any of our money, she is very greedy. I have since wondered if I was her first implant patient. WOW...stupid me. Then this other dentist told me I needed a specialist in this case. I was referred to a wonderful dentist in Wausau, WI. The first thing he said when looking at my X-rays was: "Who did this to you"? He was astounded at the bad dentistry that ruined my mouth. On Monday night at 10:30 I bit into a refrigerated snickers bar ( not recommended ) and found myself chewing on a dislodged veneer front tooth. I was in a total panic as I have a wedding to attend next weekend and know it takes time to have a new veneer built and matched. The veneer was from many years ago and a different dentist and lab for color match. I called the office at 7:30 the next morning. The receptionist responded with empathy and worked me into an already busy schedule. Dr. Crow not only reattached the veneer but created a composite to fill in the chip. No one can tell which tooth was repaired! The entire staff worked as a team, treated one another and me with respect and shared in my relief with the outcome. Many trips back and forth 20 minute drive one way. I wanted the old fashioned way of taking impressions and they said they do both so I assumed they would grant my wishes. That was not the case. They did digital. After several trips back and forth they did impressions. Second set of dentures was made. Still not right. Midline is off, bite is off and even with adhesive they pop off one side or the other or the front depending where I bite. Dr. Birr informed me that at this point it is costing THEM money and that they will refund my money. Turns out it takes 6-8 weeks for them to "refund" the insurance so I can go elsewhere. I was going to turn the dentures in and currently I am waiting for a "form" to come in prior to me turning them in. Dr. Birr admitted that she does not like working with dentures. I was shocked because had I known that I would have never gone to Quirt Family Dentistry for dentures. I have been without the ability to eat since December 2024. It is now May 20th 2025. I am currently waiting for the "form" so I can turn in the dentures. The other horrible experience was during the root scaling process the hygenist did not properly give time for the numbing to take affect before injecting me with the numbing agent. It was horribly painful, I cried and told her that was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a dental office and I have had many procedures done.
