Well it's time for me to modify. Thanks to my original post I was contacted by a wonderful regional manager named Amanda. She is working on the billing disaster. Hopefully she will get more results than I did. The office staff, all of whom I said were wonderful, said get in here and let's fix things. Dr. B and Nicole (my fav) will be working to make things right. As of today I can wear my teeth. There is still a little tweaking that needs to be done so I can eat without fear but we're on the way. Called corp # first, got total runaround to even get any info, can't get past the inept VR's. So, I got in my car and drove to this location only to be told that they DO NOT have emergancy services without scheduling an appt (emergency-duh?), verifying your insurance, and it would not be the same day. Total FAIL on thier part. I'd heard bad things about Aspen but I thought I'd try. They validated everything I've heard bad about them. Find a reputable business if you want care. read more

In June 2025, I had a tooth ache so I went to Aspen since they accepted walk in. I explained my problem, she x-rayed and found that I had a gum infection, offered this cleaning for $162 which I did, after that gave me a rinse to clear the bacteria and a toothpaste. Now that wasn't why I came there; I still had my problem with sensitivity and eating on to the left side of my mouth. She repeatedly said she saw nothing, and I was fine. Well long and behold it's August, I was still in pain now worse. I took an open appointment elsewhere, found I had a cracked tooth possible a root canal, which that dentist recommended to see an Endodontic, which she diagnosed that I'd be better extracting the tooth (PULL OUT). So that's where I'm at now to see an oral surgeon she referred me to. I would not recommend this Aspen Dental in Pinellas if she is still there. I dont usually leave negative reviews. If it's that bad, I say nothing. I had a 10am appt today, got here 20 mns early to do paperwork. My appt was for estimate for new upper dentures. By 10:55am I had still not been called. I asked the front desk to see how long. They came back and said "quite a while. Do you want to cancel?" I said I wanted to know why they are so overbooked, is it a usual occurrence or rare? They said it was the scheduling dept fault, not theirs. I needed to know if every appt would be like this, with blatant disregard for patient's time. I decided to leave and will never go back. Very unprofessional. read more

Terrible experience. First I had to wait one hour after arriving 10 minutes early. First I was told I have high blood pressure. Okay sure, then I was told I have gingivitis, then I asked how if I floss every day and never bleed, and the dental hygienist lied and said I was bleeding during the exam which is a lie. Lied to my face. Then the dentist comes and explains how I have bacteria in under my gums and they need to rinse it via deep cleaning to stop the gingivitis. I again ask how I have this if I floss, brush, and water pik every day. Then they asked me if I wanted to do an extra mouth cancer screener which doesn't make sense because I was just there to clean my teeth. All of a sudden, I have hypertension, I'm dying of cancer, and I have gingivitis. This place is a money grab. Stay away. You will be scammed. If they would've positioned it as, do this deep cleaning because why not? I would've paid 120 to do it. But I was given the run-around, none of my questions were addressed, they had me sign all these waivers and I was treated like complete trash by the dental hygienist. I do not have gingivitis, I see another dentist regularly and they told me my teeth are healthy. I was also told by the hygienist that gingivitis is non-reversible. This is also a lie. The first visit includes loads of x-rays and actually examination. They then take out time to personally come up with a plan to help you achieve dental health or just improvements. Save your time and your money. Staff is a mix of attentive and apathetic. Girlfriend paid $8,000 for extractions, a permanent full top set and bottom, and a temporary bottom. They said she would leave with her smile but she has not been able to put the denture in for the whole weekend because of how misshapen and poorly made the denture was. It looks like a five year old made it. Not to mention they are closed on the weekend so she has not been able to eat or leave the house for 3 days. We made an emergency call to the dentist on call just to be told to just leave the denture out all weekend and wait until Monday. We had to go into the office on two separate occasions for the bottom impressions and the denture still looks horrible. $8,000 later and my girlfriend still has no teeth in her mouth. read more

Please see before and after a phots - went in for what shouldn't have been complicated and now weeks later and 3k down the drain I'm dealing with a smile that couldn't look anymore different than what I went in there. The first set of crowns didn't even match the color of my teeth at all and that's AFTER I went to their Knight Dental Lab for custom color match. Then, AFTER that set they had redone the crowns and got a decent color match ONLY to have messed up on the left and right incisors as far as the shapes are concerned and the two top middle front teeth are as flat as a wall while the incisors both curve put. Please take the time to see the pics for yourselves and stay away! They are now charging me nearly an additional 500 for them to try and have these issues resolved and this will be the third try. read more

Wish I could have given 0 stars! Called last week to see if they took my insurance and was told yes. I really needed to be seen for a broken tooth explained what was wrong but the next available appointment was today so I took it. I got a call from them an hour and a half before I was scheduled to be there and was told they were sorry but they don't actually take my insurance. I asked if I could still come in and was told I needed and exam first for $179.00 then would have to come back and to have it pulled it would be another $499.00. I know what is wrong, I don't need an exam but this is their way to make more money I guess. She knew I was in pain when I called last week and she waits till an hour and a half before my appointment to call me?!?!!!! When I got there, they said I wasn't in the system and could not be seen until Monday, it was Thursday. I showed my proof of the appointment I made, matching the same location and she refused to have me seen that day. I asked why I was able to make an appointment and not even be seen, when it's for an emergency!!! There are not enough stars to put up for this office! Quick back story I had a bridge made by the Tyrone office 2 yrs ago and this year (3) on my birthday none the less it popped off .. I called Tyrone and they would not assist me and were not helpful at all. I called the Pinellas Park office and THEY GOT ME IN IMMEDIATELY!! ( worked me in on a very busy day non the less ) they checked the teeth to make sure everything was ok with X-rays and Dr Bam as everyone calls her ( Dr Bambaren ) reattached the bridge and when I went to pay they said it was a courtesy and they didn't charge me .. I've NEVER HAD A DENTIS do anything as a courtesy!! Mind blown ! Fast forward 2 months and out it comes again same great treatment and was charged a minimal fee as I would expect their time is money and I was just so grateful as no other Aspen dental would touch me because the Dentist that did the bridge was no longer with them, and the other Aspen dentals said our dentist didn't do the bridge so they would not help me .. NOT PINELLAS PARK ASPEN !! OR Dr Bam and Nicole .. they brought me in and put it back in this continued a total of 5 times and yesterday when I went in there were my amazing ladies again except Dr Bam was on maternity leave and I was panicking as no one else would touch it prior to her. So I had met Dr Bearden at my previous visits in passing as everyone there is so friendly and funny which is Exactly what most people need at a dentist as no one like dental work in my opinion!! Went to Aspen dental @4030 park blvd Pinellas Park to have it repaired! After a month and 4 visits I finally had a bridge ( Price was way over what I was quoted) plus a deep cleaning that they said i needed.. and 2,000 over what my insurance paid i called my Dentist in Pa. He told me my gums had no signs of gums receding or gum disease! My fault I should have called him before allowing an unnecessary procedure! I visited another dentist 6 months later and was again informed I never needed a deep cleaning! Stay away! Dont fall for their insurance trap unnecessary procedures! I asked for a referral since the specialist who performs root canals is only available once or twice a month, and they would not give me one. Where do I start? I guess I should start from, when you walk in. The office is in a kind of strip mall'ish setting. When you walk there's no amazing waiting room (thankfully they don't have the TV on any news station). I was new and was coming from having one of the best Doctor's in DC. So I was sort of worried if I'm being honest from first impressions. Then I walked up and spoke with the person behind the desk and it all went fireworks, lights out awesome from that point on. Their checkin form was easy enough and for me at least it was one of the easiest/painless newb to the client ( me to them ) experiences I've ever had at any doctor, dentist, or medical anything. My appointment was basically right on schedule and when I went back they started working immediately. I was fortunate enough to have my first interaction with Christina who was like grade A best in class when it comes to hygenists. ( fyi .. I'm not getting paid for this or getting any discounts ) :) Christina was great because she explained everything that was going to happen, she explained the history of the company when I asked about it, and she helped silence my fears. I didn't want any pain ! Long story shory short there wasn't any. Things only got better when I met Dr. Alagic ( Dr. A). He was referred to me by my former stylist. He fears mouth pain from a dentist visit just as much or more than me. My friend told me Dr. A graduated at the top of his class and was immediately recruited to work at Aspen. After being under his care for a couple of hours I believe it! He too was very personable and answered all questions and addressed my worst fear wouldn't happen in his chair. Yeah ... so it didn't happen. There was no 'you'll feel a pinch' or 'this will only hurt for a second'. He and Christina as the dental dream team have me wanting to visit the dentist super regularly now. I could go on and on about the big boss of the place who even came out of his office to help the folks behind the desk, or the amazingly super nice staff, or the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth and educated me about what plaque is and the bacteria (I'll leave that out). This was an A+ experience and you may get the same experience somewhere else, but you won't get better. read more

My experience with Aspen Dental in Pinellas Park Fl. The dental assistants, hygienist, and dentists are top notch. A 5 star in my opinion. Although the receptionists and billing. (Nichole and Michael) need an adult around. Michael gave me a fee price for service and got upset when I gave him 2 insurance cards. (primary and secondary insurance which they have taken from me with no prob. every other time I've been there. Michael told me to go sit in my car for an hour for him to check it out. They called me back 2 and a half hrs later and said they know just what kind of benefits I have. They definitely take my Humana insu. still wont see me. RUN AWAY!!! if you have an appointment with C.CHASE.... I've been going to dentists since I was probably 5. NEVER experienced anything like this. Drama aside, here are some facts: 1. Clients are seated literally in a hallway. People walk by, different nurses come in and out grabbing something from the drawers. 2. Doctor tried to talk me into getting a much more expensive service than needed (a crown instead of a simple filling in my case). 3. Best part - while injecting anesthesia, C.Chase hit the blood vessel and ANESTHESIA WENT DIRECTLY INTO MY BLOODSTREAM. After I broke in tears and started to tremble from the epinephrine that was in the drug, he said he "doesn't know why" I was having such a bad reaction and...left, leaving me sitting in the chair trembling. A person can literally DIE if anesthesia is injected into the bloodstream. Another doctor said later that "we are lucky you are younger and your body could handle that". 4. After I somehow calmed down, he cleaned the tooth and put new filling in. All in no more than 15min. 5. After trying to go to my car I broke into tears and trembling again. Spent 45min at the clinic while they tried to calm me down. C.Chase wasn't around, nurses and other doctors were the ones taking care of everything. 6. No follow up the next day, no apologies. If you care about the quality of work done, avoid this doctor. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but the "work" speaks for itself. I wish I could attach the After picture. It is on Google reviews though. P.S. After I complained a few days later, I was redirected to doctor V.Alagic who did a great job fixing the tooth. I waited for 2 hours for my 1st appointment that was for teeth cleaning. After 2 hours they said we are not cleaning your teeth only doing x-rays & evaluating my teeth. Ugh! then they said I need a deep cleaning. They will not do a regular cleaning. I went to a periodontist Dr Ghattas for a 2nd option & he said no, I only need a regular cleaning. Aspen Dental only wants to run up the insurance bill. They don't care about you. I go to the dentist regularly. Never had a deep cleaning. I hear it hurts & it can cause nerve damage. Crazy, I will be changing dentist. I need to see when I am eligible for more x-rays since they used up all my available lab work. I called them 3 weeks ago about this & they never called me back, I called again today & left a message for Rose to call me. They are a scam looking for all the insurance funds they can get. THIS PLACE SCAMS PEOPLE. Please go anywhere else. My partner came here to inquire about having their wisdom tooth removed. The visit included x-rays and an exam--all of which are free of cost. Aspen Dental informed him they they were unable to remove the wisdom tooth but wanted to discuss other things that needed to be fixed. These cost totaled over $6000. My partner was honest in saying they could not afford this and declined services. The dental attendant offered to see if they could extend credit to cover the cost. Again, my partner declined but the attendant kept persisting, saying that they would just CHECK. My partner let them check but again declined wanting credit since the initial issue of removing the wisdom teeth could not be resolved. A few days after the visit my partner got an alter of a new credit account on their credit report. Not only had Aspen Dental taken it upon themselves to open a credit card that my partner did not ask for, the went a step further and ran the card for $1400 charge for services that had not been rendered nor scheduled. When my partner called the credit card company to dispute the legitimacy of the account they added a negative remark to their credit resulting in a 15 point loss. HOW IS IT OKAY FOR ASPEN DENTAL TO PERFORM CREDIT CARD FRAUD?! This is absolutely not okay in any shape or form. If you value your credit and don't want to be lied to please seek assistance somewhere else. Oh! And the card can only be used at Aspen Dental. These people are scam artist and scammers. read more

This place is one of the most flagrant in taking your money for a procedure in addition to your dental plan up front and then if the DDS decides not to perform it for whatever they suddenly change the estimates amounts in order to keep whatever money you paid up front! Steer clear of this place unless you want your money taken ... No procedures performed and no refund of any money paid UP FRONT as requested and no refunded amount! Lets start with the problem. Two cavity infected wisdom teeth. I felt with pain for entire week up even with narcotics. Percocets seemed to work best, again this worked for me not everyone is the same or reacts the same when it comes to prescribed drugs. I went into Aspen Dental here in Saint Petersburg, FL (Pinellas Park). My dentist, Reham El-Hennawey was absolutely amazing. I was so nervous so very nervous but she eased me into feeling relaxed. The procedure I had done was two side by side up wisdom teeth root canals done. The only actual "pain" I felt was actually pressure. I never felt any pain at all. In total review and appreciation of Dr. El-Hennawey she's beyond beyond beyond great. I seriously did not feel any of the work being done felt at ease and was out in less than an hours time. I'm so happy with the work done. If you ever have to get root canals done I recommend setting an appointment wig Dr. El-Hennawey. She's the best! read more

Well , I was looking for a general dentist. As we recently moved from California . Had a good one back home though in Chicago. I called and asked them if they accept my insurance , they said they do. Which I made the appointments for me and my husband. So , I had to rush to get there being that I had to head there straight from work. Everything seem fine up until, after the Xrays, everything went down hill from there. We ( my husband and me) did not get to even see the dentist , we saw a few people. Explaining to us what they seen in the xrays. They had me in one room and my husband in another . Basically being the told the same B.S ! When I made my appointment, I made it clear I needed a cleaning and check up. All I got told was all these things they claim were wrong. However ! it's only been over a year I last saw my dentist back home in Chicago. I never been told all these things , I was told here. I saw 3 people and none of them was a dentist . Then , when I asked about my general cleaning , they said they couldn't. Because of ALL the work I needed to get done 1st! ( that was a lie!) they walk me to yet another room and get right to business . Between my husband and me our out of pocket cost was over $5000.00 !!!! And that is with having a good insurance . This is not my 1st rodeo , plus I have worked at a dentist before. I know these cost they were trying to charge us was wrong!. They didn't know how our insurance work. They were fairly new to working with TriCar/ Delta Dental. So, my husband called our insurance and found out that . The things they were charging us , was covered by our insurance .Yet! we were told it does not. So, we never went back . My husband found a different dentist , they looked up our insurance . The dental office call Apsen Dental to get his Xrays. They wanted $300.00 plus to get them ! .. wthell! So, the new dentist office called our former dental office in Chicago , husband signed the release form, and they gave the new dentist his xrays. No cost! Turns out after reviewing his xrays, he did not have cavities and all these other things these people claim he had. He did get a deep cleaning for the entire mouth. For under $200.00 out of pocket, because our insurance covered most of it!. To were at this place they were charging me over $2000.00 and him as well = $5000.00 They are scammers! read more

I do not recommend Aspen Dental in Pinellas Park. They are liars. They will work on your teeth and have you pay an amount "IN FULL". THEN they will bill your insurance company for double the services. Example: a cleaning D4346 and a cleaning D1110. They will give you FLUORIDE, and not disclose that there is an age cap of 18. Soooo your insurance will bounce back those charges (which never should have been performed or billed without full disclosure of costs not covered) and when you show up 6 months later for your next cleaning, they won't do it unless you pay the $120.20 difference. (Charges they knew were going to bounce back). The lady I spoke to from my Insurance Company told me to go find another Dentist. Ha. Aspen Dental in Pinellas Park Florida has absolutely No Integrity. Well Guess what? There are HUNDREDS of other Dentist offices in my zip code. She already sent me a list. I will be going somewhere else. SMH. I took off work an hour early for this shit. I don't normally write reviews but I can not stop thinking of My visit to Aspen Dental..... I have a crown on my front tooth and have had trouble with it lately, and My Family Dentist retired a few years ago. I decided to try Aspen........ Big MISTAKE! I went in letting them know that I had a broken Crown and that I thought I had an infection.....( pus blister ). They did the x-rays and did all kinds of scans ( for invisalign ) to straighten my teeth...... Here is the problem, I came in because of a broken crown and infection.... I received more attention from the X-Ray tech than I did from Dentist. The Dentist came in talking about $9,045 to straighten and fix my smile... " THAT YOU CAN'T BE HAPPY WITH " before he even looked at my teeth. Not only was I made to feel as if I less than, I was for the first time more embarrassed more than I have ever been ( and trust me I have been embarrassed many times in life). I have never in my life been made to feel that bad. Please find a good family Dentist, a real one... not one that is going to push a $2,000 cleaning and $3,000 invisaline before they address the true issue. Always late with your app time. They cook the books to keep you waiting. This was my 3rd visit and they always kept me waiting 45 -60 minutes before being taken to the dentist. Then another 10 minutes before beginning work. I will never come back because of these practices. read more
