They have some cool technology to monitor longitudinal changes in my mouth and provide a good look at what's going on. I have a very favorable impression of Dr. Gulati and his practice. He trained at top institutions (Tufts, Boston U), quickly fixed a problem that involved implants and is congenial. I was told I would be charged $300 by the dentist, to which I replied I would not pay that for simple dental paste but needed to have it fixed. In the chair, the dentist bargained with me as though he were at an outdoor market, telling me he'd do it for $150. He yelled and screamed before making the very simple repair which was completed less than a minute later, spending much more time yelling than repairing. This was really an experience with a very mentally ill person who somehow is still allowed to practice healthcare. The receptionist was incredibly nice and felt terrible for me, she was mortified by what had happened, and the charge. This dentist simply should not be practicing. I hope this review can help others to stay away.

I am a nursing mom with a baby -- driving back to Boston that day was really not an option for me. I nearly begged the receptionist on the phone if she could possibly squeeze me in for a 15 min appointment so the dentist could just cement my crown back in temporarily -- to prevent any damage to my actual tooth, so it would last for a couple of days until we drove back. While she was polite on the phone -- she expressed zero sympathy, compassion or empathy and it was clear that she couldn't care less about me or my emergency situation. When I got to Boston I texted a new dentist recommended by a friend (it so happened that my dentist had retired two weeks prior to this). The treatment that his office and his receptionist showed me (calling me over the weekend to make sure I was okay and then squeezing me in to be seen the next morning) -- was in stark contrast with this office. It's absolutely clear to me where I'll be taking my business.

Net balance after insurance (CIGNA dental & health) was just over $1,500. What's the purpose of insurance coverage? What's the use of a business's estimate of a balance? Both will point fingers at each other, or even you. Then they'll get annoyed when you ask, "why?".
