This was a few visits to the dentist office with our children. The bill was well over $1,000.00…read moreafter a few visits there, my wife made a payment plan arrangement with them. We made a few payments and ended up missing a payment a month or so ago. The dentist office then sent the remaining bill to collection. As of January 12th, 2022 the remaining balance from the dentist office was for $1071.90. We just recently received a bill, February 28th, 2022 from the collection company, The Thomas Agency, in the amount of $1,770.78. My wife called to see if there might have been a mistake on the billing process. The woman at the dentist office stated that this charge was from the collection agency and we would have to speak with them about the amount owed. Upon calling the collection agency they informed us that they have no part in what the total amount owed on the bill is, they only send out billing on whatever the business tells them that is owed. My wife then calls the dentist office back and speaks with a rather rude woman who tells my wife that it is no mistake, that the extra $700.00 is their "processing fee" to submit it to collection. She then proceeds to tell my wife that " That's the amount and you will pay it". We are curious to know if this is fair practice to add this much more to a bill that we are already struggling to pay? I could understand $50-$70 processing fee, but $700.00, give me a break. I would definitely recommend finding a different dentist office, if this is how they do business, they should be put out of business.

He had terrible pain and a serious infection. Two months later he is still experiencing some pain and a good amount of tenderness. The practice was unwilling to see him at the time for this emergency. The woman who answers the phone and does billing is rude and argumentative. We never received a proper itemized bill and our insurance was not billed correctly. We received a letter in the mail about the bill and it had a handwritten, rude note on it. We tried this practice as it was nearby and the dentists were new. But needless to say we will not continue our care there.

Hands down, the cleanest office in the business. All of the staff are extremely professional and…read morebalance that professionalism with just the right amount of personal touch so you feel like part of the office family after just a few visits. Both receptionists are always quick to answer the phone and you virtually never have to deal with waiting on hold. (I personally have never had to but I don't want to make that assumption for 100% of the people.) Any time you spend waiting in that office is under 5 minutes unless you show up early. They always make it a point to remember your name and face and even the small details even you forget, that just make you feel like they truly care about your over-all well being. They also have the wide spectrum of hygienists covering the babies like me who can't handle the tough scraping of my teeth all the way to those who make you feel like you just left the dentist with brand new teeth! Speaking of that if you are thinking about straightening your teeth... seriously don't even look anywhere else. My treatment took me 2 years (I had pretty crooked teeth) and in that time not once did I feel like the treatment was a pain in the ass. My teeth are "movie star" straight now and I miss going in for checkups so much I have to come up with new problems just to go in for a visit. So, in all seriousness... best dentist around in my opinion and if anyone tells you differently then they are probably heavily medicated and or missing a piece of their frontal lobe. (Part of the brain that deals with common sense things) 100% Thumbs up!!!

Mountain View Dentistry seemed like a great dentist. But what ended up was a nightmare. The staff…read morewas friendly and their whole thing was "no pain dentistry". You have great views of the water and shoreline and it's a very upscale place for a dentist. However all good things must come to an end... We (my sister and I) supposedly had numerous cavities on every visit we went and got them filled eventually. My sister unfortunately had teeth sensitivity issues after her fillings and would hurt to chew. Ironically while we were waiting one day to get her seen, a kid was coming out of the office after getting the same issue fixed! We ended up leaving this dentist and going to another dentist who after having other numerous dental staff looking at our mouth didn't seeing wrong and the supposed cavities we had that weren't filled, somehow were gone. The first month we were there they held a raffle for any new patients to win a gift certificate to a local shopping center. I ended up winning but it never showed up! They claimed they had sent it in the mail even though we had an appointment a few days later. I also was a bit disturbed and perplexed by the fact that the dentist offers botox... Botox and dental work are two different things.
