One point is to many for this place! If you care about your health and wallet DO NOT go to this place. The manger sees you as an ATM machine and tries to squeeze more and more money out of your pocket with a lot of irrelevant stories . I felt very bad 2 days after a tooth was extracted. had a lot of pain and fever and was told to to come back the next day, I had to suffer 24 hours before seeing me, tried to talk to the doctor but she didn't find the time... so If you have an urgent problem after paying a lot of money for the treatment no one cares, you are on your own! I was skeptical but had a fantastic experience. I had Dr Leon as my dentist. She was very professional, caring and explained everything. I can't say enough about the hygienist Mary. Almost a year late Mr. Still work isn't complete after it was paid in full and a staff member was stealing cash payments. This was confirmed by the office manager at the time. I first would like to take the opportunity to thank Aspen Dental Nokomis located off Laurel Road for their superior care of me and my children. I am very sick and lost all of my teeth due to my disease. Not only was Dr. Leon compassionate and caring, her professionalism was flawless. Her staff are very professional compassionate and extremely knowledgeable as Dr. Leon. I have been terrified of dentists since a child when I had a traumatic experience with one. Every since it has been hard and frightening to go to the dentist and every dentist I tried seemed only to exacerbate it. Dr. Leon and her staff the first day showed patience and compassion. Dr. Leon and dental assistant were gentle calm and kind. They took their time to explain everything they were doing and going to do before they did it. They put me at such ease. Then I even was hugged several times after I learned all my teeth had to come out due to the danger they posed to my health. Dr. Leon and the endodontist were gentle and lessened the pain I felt. Then helped me find an affordable denture plan that fit my needs. They followed up unfailingly always showing care and concern. The compassion and caring of Aspen Dental Nokomis is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone. They will take superior professional care of you with compassion. I broke a tooth on a Sunday and found Aspen. The website indicated they handled emergencies and gave you the opportunity to make an appointment. There was an 8 am appt available for Monday. I registered on line and arrive promptly at my scheduled time. After waiting until 9 am, I inquired how long it would be as I had another appt at 10. She told me she could not promise anything and asked if I could come back at 3 . I took the 3 but later canceled. I am not sure why I was able to make appt and when I got there, they were unable to see me after waiting for over an hour. read more

Do Not Recommend!!! I was there today to have uppers made. Seriously! She still couldn't do it right. So it was explained to me a language problem. Seriously Yes she speaks English and French. My review is based solely on business practices and they fail big time. I went to their Office in Nokomis with Dental Insurance as they were in my network. After a complete exam I called the following day and I was quoted a price of $4895 for two root canals and crowns. That was the price with insurance. The following day I went to their office and told them I spoke with my insurance company and the price dropped by $2,000. The new price was still MUCH higher than the negotiated price with my insurance. I asked them to send a "predetermination letter" to my insurance company and they refused. Giant Red Flag ! I told them I would take my business elsewhere and I could tell the office mgr got annoyed. Stay far away from these crooks. read more

I went to Aspen Dental because my flipper/temporary bridge broke at my front tooth and there website stated they could turn it around pretty quick. I went in on Monday with no appointment, they fit me in within 30 min. They did X-rays and a mold of my teeth and I was out 45 min latter and told to come back Tuesday at 5:00 to pull my other front tooth and provide me with a new 2 tooth flipper Arrived at 5, Dr S had my tooth numbed and pulled within 20 minutes, no issues! They installed the new flipper, did a few adjustments and I was gone by 5:45 Rachel the dental assistant has a great personality and did a great job adjusting the flipper to my liking. I would definitely recommend and will be back for more work read more

I got my teeth cleaned here and the dental hygienist was very nice and I had no problems during my cleaning. The staff is kind! My mother has also gotten work on her teeth done here too and has had no problems as well. read more

I have made three trips to Aspen Dental and so far it has been a good experience! I usually have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist but there is no need to here. I've had a teeth cleaning and three cavities filled, and never felt pain. The doctor is good at giving more novacane (sp?) if needed. I love that I can make appointments online and that they have TVs at every chair in the offices! I definitely recommend these guys. read more

My boyfriend was in town from Ireland and got a toothache the last few days of his trip. He couldn't wait till he got home to get it looked at. Aspen Dental had a deal where new patients could get a free exam and xrays. We went in and didn't have to wait long to get taken back (I had printed the forms out online and filled them out ahead of time - definitely recommend doing this). Everyone from the receptionist, to the X-ray technician, dental hygienist, and dentist were all so extremely nice and helpful. I haven't seen customer service like that in quite awhile! They told my boyfriend that he would need a root canal and a crown and prescribed him some meds to hold him over until he got home to see his own dentist. We didn't have to pay anything at the office, and the meds were only $20!!! All in all, it was an amazing experience and was so much cheaper than we thought it would be! I will definitely be coming back here myself for dental work in the future and highly recommend this location if anyone is in search of a dentist. read more

Avoid Aspen dental if possible.Nothing more than a high pressure bait and switch money pit. Having new dental insurance and new options, I chose try this office because it was close. I am middle aged and have taken great care of my teeth. 2 check ups and cleanings a year since I was a child. 3 ceramic fillings for my only cavities. Teeth have been whitened. I have a healthy mouth. So after spending two hours in the office with new patient X-rays and a preliminary exam, the doctor wanted to anesthetize me for a deep cleaning, put a metal crown over my expensive porcelain filling just in case the expensive filling gave me problems down the road, and said I needed invisalign to correct my nice smile. And all this was offered for the low bargain of $7000.00, with an excellent payment plan. OH, and they refused to do my insurance reimbursed cleaning because it was not sufficient. So if you have two hours to waste, and wish to sit through a ridiculous sales and financing pitch, this is your place. Otherwise, stick with a non-franchised dentist. read more

I was warned not to go to Aspen but I thought how bad could it be? Turns out very bad. The Nokomis office has next to no covid precautions. People in waiting area not wearing masks and just waiting to pick up someone. Receptionist not wearing a mask and sneezing into waiting room. People coming out from back to talk to her also not wearing masks. Had scan taken of tooth. Was told endodontist would call me. No one called. After a week of waiting, I called the office and was told they thought I went to another office even though I had the scan taken at their office. Neither office called me. I decided not to have any more to do with them. They said they would send a disc of my scan to me. It has now been a month--it never came. I contacted the corporate office several times about not getting the disc and was given completely different information. Was told the regional manager, Bella Garcia, would call me. She never did. I finally insisted they overnight the disc. I finally got it. (I did not want to go into that office again because of covid and their lax attitude). I would never go back to Aspen Dental again. This staff there is so nice. Dr. Santeiro is a great dentist and she is so pleasant. I always hated going to dentist and because of that I didn't go for years. Every since Dr. Santeiro has been taking care of me, I know go every four months. She is informative, not pushy and seems to have genuine concern for me. Would recommend Dr. Santeiro to everyone. Dr Santeiro also spends more time with me than any other dentist I have been to. She doesn't make you feel as though she just pops in quickly because she is supposed to. The regional manager, Bella, was there at my last visit. Bella came in and talked to me and really made me feel as though she appreciated my business. Dr Santeiro and Bella definitely made me smile as I felt like an appreciated patient not just just an insurance number. You should definitely give Dr Santeiro a try. read more

Very disappointed with the office staff. I found them rude and unhelpful and I ended up leaving before ever seeing a dentist. The issue had to do with dental insurance and I found out afterwards from my insurance company that the office staff lied to me. The issue will eventually be resolved, but I will never go back to this office. read more
