Anyway something I said on Google Maps: I have come to this dental office to fix my entire mouth what I thought was unrepairable. Instead all of my teeth were restored with fillings and my cavities were removed and replaced by crowns and a cracked tooth taken out. Tho I was awake for every appointment I was very comfortable of course besides the cracked tooth removal. Regardless this building has excellent doctors and staff that assist them. Strongly recommend everyone try to get the best quality help possible if you have problems like I had these people are more than capable of helping. read more

Extremely disappointed. PLEASE please read other reviews on them. After spending thousands on upper dentures my senior parent has to bring in every 60-120 days for repair. She can't drive and they insist on keeping them a full day and sometimes over night. There is a total lack of transparency added stipulations to her warranty AFTER they removed her teeth and she had the denture, very combative staff and office manager. We made four appointments for routine cleanings only to find out it's an evaluation with a million X-rays, scanning, and gum measurements, based on data they want to charge a fortune for unwarranted care. Horrible office service and untrustworthy dental care! I went to Aspen Dental in Newnan, and they quoted me $8,000 worth of work. The finance lady tried pressuring me to pay upfront, which I did not do thankfully. After my first cleaning, they charged me for services that I did not receive. I looked at the receipt once I got home, which was all in CPT codes and difficult to understand, but realized I did not receive some of the services they charged me for. I tried calling them, but could not get through. I had to call the main Aspen Dental number, for a new patient, which they answered immediately, of course, to get them to get someone at the office on the phone. Once they transferred me, the office hung up on me. I had to physically go to the office, and I told the front desk lady that I was overcharged for something I didn't receive, and then she had an attitude like it was my fault! They said they could not immediately refund me, that it would need to go to the main office to get processed, which would take more time. After this, I did not trust them. Thankfully I went through this experience, because I went to another dentist and they said I only needed $450 worth of work! They said there were no cavities where Aspen Dental said there were. They also said I did not need the other thousands of dollars' worth of work that Aspen Dental said I needed, and that my teeth were in good shape! My son pediatric dentist informed us at the age of 18 that he needed his wisdom teeth removed. He was turning 19 in 3 weeks so he had to go to another location. Our insurance company gave us a list and Aspen at dental was one of the referring dentist. I called Aspen dental for my son and made it clear that we had already done x-rays and wouldn't be needing them. The woman proceeded to tell me that ALL first visit x-rays at Aspen dental are free. Great! The day my son went to their office I gave him copies of his x-rays to show the doctor prior to them doing them. Without getting into further detail we decided NOT to do his teeth removal there. Surprisingly, we found it much cheaper elsewhere also - though this was NOT what our decision was based on. Approximately seven weeks later, my 19-year-old son received a bill for his x-rays. We called and stated they were supposed to be free. The person we spoke to said "that is correct." weeks later, we received another bill, called again and the woman proceeded to tell me that "the person you spoke to in the corporate office had no idea what they were talking about." though she could see that we talked in the notes. I then called our insurance company. They said it should be free but pay this amount of the bill $79.84 because they're overcharging you for the x-rays, so we complied. Our insurance company also called the Newnan, ga office and sent them a letter telling them to stop harassing us. Of course it has not stopped. Now they're going to ruin my 19-year-olds credit. I am at a complete loss on what to do...I am writing this because I don't want anyone else to be in this position. Went to aspen for a checkup and cleaning. Well I should never have told them I wanted a cleaning. They ended up telling me I needed 3-4 teeth extracted and a partial plate to go in their place all the while I have no pain or discomfort in those teeth. They also wanted to do 3 crowns. The deep root cleaning was over $3,000.00! No way should you ever pay that much for a cleaning. In total my estimate was for almost $14,000.00! Ridiculous! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! My 18-year-old son needed to get his wisdom teeth pulled and had never handled going to the dentist on his own. He brought in a copy of his pediatric dentist x-rays, which he had been taken several weeks earlier at age 17. Aspen Dental told him that he needed another set of x-rays even though they had just been done, stating he would not be charged for them. After meeting the dental worker, he decided that he wanted to go somewhere else for the procedure. Several weeks later he was sent a bill for his x-rays. When he and I called the office they said he had to pay for the x-rays, which were $179. I called the corporate office and was told that this was not true that the x-rays were free, even if he didn't get the procedure there. This did not stop them. I called our insurance company to see if there was anything they could do or suggest they said that we only owed $79 that under our government insurance they could not charge us more than that, so we paid it. The insurance company also sent Aspen Dental a letter stating that they couldn't charge us the other hundred. Aspen Dental continued to persist that we owed this to the point where they got a collection agency involved to destroy my 18-year-old son's credit. Our insurance company fought by calling again but they would not listen so we called the corporate office again. They told us we didn't owe the money, but the local office continued to say we did. I have some serious issues with Aspen Dental. I am new to the area and simply wanted a cleaning; I've not had a cavity or any dental issue for the last 20 years. On my first--and certainly only--visit, I was uncomfortable from the very beginning. There are a hundred little things that just seemed "off." I was never provided a cleaning, was told that I needed a "deep cleaning" for over $1000 (after insurance). I believe I've wasted my semiannual insurance-covered check-up. I had a periodontal evaluation just a few months ago, and at each six month interval before then, with no red flags. Now, suddenly I'm an emergency case? It appears that every first-visit patient is greeted with a similarly severely inflated "emergency" in the desperate hope that the patient capitulates at the omens of a grave oral issue. And why should't they, this is a "Dentist" after all. Unfortunately, it is a dentist and a dental practice that preys on the fears and ignorance of patients, seeking payment for unnecessary care. I genuinely question the positive reviews of Aspen Dental, and will be calling my insurance company tomorrow to ask them to look into this establishment as question whether they should be allowed to be in network. Shame on you, Aspen Dental. I am so disappointed in your staff and management for perpetuating what amounts to little more than a front for unnecessary and inflated procedures under the guise of oral health. Do better, and please leave Newnan. You disgust me. You are dental predators and should do some serious introspection into whether dental care is the appropriate business for a cadre of leeches. Update: I see Aspen's response. You just don't get it. It is an uncomfortable patient experience every step of the way. The intake questions are done in the presence of multiple staff, in a short chair, while the hygienist stands literally over you. The x-ray chair is facing the door, so the whole half-hour I'm sitting in the chair, I have to awkwardly smile at the dozens of people walking by and making eye contact with me. Everyone sounds completely judgmental when I decline any of the $5k+ in recommended services. It's not just my experience. If it was, then you wouldn't have 2-stars when most dentists have strong ratings. I started going here because it was recommended to me for the horrific monstrosity that is my mouth right now and having no insurance is hard. Since I went in for my deep clean (only appointment I've had so far) that cost me $2,600 by the way, I have had a bump form on the roof of my mouth that won't go away. I am writing this letter on behalf of my mother, who hand wrote this letter for me to type (and I forgot-bad daughter moment). She took time to write this so better late than never.. The customer service was AWFUL, but I will say there was one young lady at the front desk that was friendly. But overall, I would rate you all 1 star. I was told one thing and charged for a service that I didn't know I was getting. I tried to explain but was told that someone would call so I would stop talking. But, no one ever called and I had to wait a very long time to be seen. My partials doesn't fit and didn't when I received them, they simply "HURT". The dentist said I would get use to them. "I DIDN"T". I had a balance that I have now paid in full. It took me 3 months but I paid it! I am writing this because I just want someone to know how badly I was treated. To much even say , basically, i just felt so unimportant . Every time i would call for an appointment, i got no answer. I left messages with no response. My teeth were guaranteed, so finally, I went back, and they remade the bottom for me , problem was they were so thick and big I couldn't even bite food or eat with them at all . They just said to try it for a week to get used to it. I couldn't the next day i call with no response. I left a message to return the call explaining i could not eat at all using this. i just placed them in the closet and brought it back on the next week apt. When asked what the prob.was i told them they were too thick and big i couldn't eat . They kept asking, "Explain thickness ,i answered the depth they said, what was depth , answer deep , thickness of the whole teeth . They stated, "Oh! You mean tall . I answered again, ok tall, then was told they couldn't fix that. I have to remake again come back, guess next week . Frustration: Now i go back to finally pick up the teeth, but they are better, but they are still hurt they adjusted them again .I guess I will come back in a week on going now. I lost track of how many times .i went back for the reline i told them one part was to sharp and thin before i got one block it cut my gum i went straight back to find out they could not do nothing now very frustrated after once again after hearing come back next week i took the teeth said loudly make me an apt. And they did not, so when I ariving home, i used the comfort fit i had ordered online. filled it in just to be able to wear them. Then, being at hosp. I went to Aspen Dental with an abscessed tooth. Although I did get a prescription for antibiotics, they scheduled an appointment for extraction before the infection & swelling subsided. I called to cancel the appointment and reschedule, but Aspen does not answer their phone! After 3 voicemails requesting a callback to reschedule, I realized I was not dealing with professionals. I should have known something wasn't right when I was expected to commit financially to full dentures before my broken tooth was even removed. I wished I would have been able to review them. Their advertisement is misleading too. When I got my temporaries they were forced in my mouth cutting the skin on the inside of my jaw bone and I complained about it but the dentist said leave them in however my previous dentist (retired) from years ago would ask how they felt. He would of not forced them down. When I got home I trimmed them with my Dremel tool and put wet gauze inside the temp to ease the pain a little. If they would of test fitted it a made the adjustments I would of been fine. There are massive temps too! I cannot close my mouth all the way. So I drool on the sides of my mouth. Sheesh! I have to take them out to drink, eat, take my meds and talk. I had a partial before and it fit perfect until I broke it. The dentist I used ( gone now) then did an impression and had it made in 30 minutes and fit perfect. In fact it was still warm from coming out of the oven(?). The lack of patient comfort in the process is a big concern. I was placed in a chair and at no time was I asked how was I doing....get them and get them out! NEXT! HORRIBLE experience. I went in for an emergency which they said over the phone they could address first thing which is the MAIN REASON I even went there despite bad reviews. I made sure to have an appointment so I didn't have to wait only to sit there for an HOUR. THREE PEOPLE came in after me and were seen BEFORE ME. Then when they finally called me they essentially told me that other than pulling my teeth (which I would have to make another appointment for) they 1) can't do anything but could refer me to another dentist and 2) they could clean my teeth, an option which I would have to schedule another appointment for anyway. I had en emergency and needed to get a tooth pulled! Like i literally did not want to keep it even if they could do a root canal. I called and scheduled and appt for the following Monday but they said if i came right then, that i could be seen the same day for the emergency but they would only look at one side and can't guarantee that it would get pulled etc the same day but it would cost $150. I live an hour away from the Newnan location and the girl i spoke to knew that and told me to hurry and come. I get there and tell her how i have always had horrible experiences at the dentist and i literally hate the dentist period. they say it would be better. They did one X-ray and put me in a chair and no one has said anything to me since. I have seen the doc dance circles around me. He's literally seen at least 4 or 5 patients and still nothing. It's been almost 2 hours. When i say im in so much pain, i am literally passing out in this chair. . Horrible, Horrible company. Stay far away from them. They did not do their job. Long story short...they "conned" me into getting Invisaline braces with did not work...AT ALL. They then failed to file with my insurance. When I changed insurance...they did nothing to collect payment from my previous insurance company. I then owed Aspen Dental $2000. I am/was not able to pay the full amount at one time and started making $100 payments to them. I have made three $100 payments and then I get a letter from a collection agency they use. I will never go here again. My first appointment was over 3 hours for an exam after just i only transferred from one Aspen to another. I was told that everything would transfer. At the "exam appointment" I still had to book another appointment for my teeth to get cleaned and more retainers. I was told it would take 7-10 days for my retainer to come back, then 3 weeks and it has almost been 3 months and I still do not have my retainers. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Worst experience ever! The office preys on people who don't realize that they SHOULD BE GETTING A 2nd OPINION!!! Don't EVER take Aspen's word on anything. They are thieves and they lie about what you need just to get your money. I wish I would have read these Yelp reviews before going there. They quoted my husband approx. $2,500 and me about $1,200 to have a deep cleaning which we have never needed in the past. When we tried to get a copy of our X-rays so we could take them with us to another dentist office to get a 2nd opinion (their website clearly states they will give you your X-rays) they would NOT respond to emails and voicemails. This is even after the Office Manager, Gayla Williams, promised that they would be emailed to us by the end of the day. It finally took our new dentist office calling them and requesting our X-rays and then "poof" magically the X-rays appear in my email. The same day I finally get an email response from Gayla and she states that because of their system, it would still take until the end of the week to get them. Amazing that Brianna was able to get them sent to me within an hour or so of my dentist requesting them. Everything they say and do are lies! Long story short, my husband's and my gums are in great health (according to our new dentist) and we absolutely do NOT need a deep cleaning! You think you're going to Aspen Dental for good affordable dental care - in reality, you will spend much more here and put your dental health in jeopardy. Curiously enough, if you say that you are not happy with Aspen on their site, it asks you for how things can be improved, and then your comments never are displayed or make it to the reviews section. Here is what happened to us: We have been customers for more than a decade. Our son recently had a cavity for which we had to schedule a separate appointment, which was not a problem. While he was there to have one cavity filled, another cavity was discovered right across form the original one. Not a problem to have both cavities filled at the time. When we went to the Orthodontist less than 4 days later, the orthodontist hygienist claimed to have found another cavity on the other side of his mouth on the canine. We rushed across the street to see if the Dentist or Hygienist could look at his mouth without going back into the chair to see if a cavity was present. The receptionist typed a long note, a billing person came out posing as an office manager telling us that the dentist was not available for just one minute to come to the front door, although we watched him walking back and forth between administrative offices. She further claimed that he was the only dentist and was double booked in an office of 3 dentists, so we would have to return on Friday for an appointment. Completely frustrated considering the amount of money we had just spent last week on the 3 month cleaning (which our dental insurance did not cover, and 2 cavities), and trying to figure out when to schedule the next orthodontist appointment - 6 weeks out or next week. I was shocked to have been treated so badly by the front administration staff. I do know that there is a constant changeover of hygienists and front staff, but this really let us know how insignificant every customer is to this practice. We are even more weary that a dentist would not stand behind his work or the work of the hygienists he employs. I would hope that they would not send our son back out after filling 2 cavities and not finding the 3rd? We are done with Aspen Dental. We will find another dentist - one that will stand behind the work that they perform. read more

Because of poor scheduling and bad management, I had to make numerous trips this this Dentist and as a result my Dental insurance would not cover the total cost. I have been receiving dunning letters from a credit agency for $23 which I do not intend to pay no matter what. Instead I will continue to perform my own dunning tasks for as long as it takes to remove that $23 from my credit report. read more

I made my appointment with the office manger Katy a month ago but for some reason I did not have an appointment. Yesterday was my first time at this location. The team here has excellent customer service. I was warmly greeted during my entire visit. The office manager was cool and explain all options and the hygenist(sp) and dentist were professional and prompt. The only thing I didn't like about the place is that the X-ray room has no privacy. I was having x-rays of my mouth being done and people were walking by. I don't want to see them and don't want them looking at me. Now the official service room had privacy and that was cool but I don't like their x-ray rooms. I will go back for my service. And o like how they have late appointments available. read more

I wish I could give a zero rating because that is the service I received here. I scheduled an appointment online (they provide a calendar with appointment times). I then received a automated call the day before appointment to reconfirm which I selected "yes". On the day of appointment they called me to say my appointment did not get confirmed and that their online system did not work. I was in a lot of pain and had waited a week to see them but they said there was nothing they could do. Needless to say I found another dentist to see me that day and was told I needed a root canal immediately. Thanks for your time, Aspen.
