Made appt 4 an extraction got x-rays & consult billed about $ 250 under ins & no extraction lol. Tried to upsell me dentures not caring about my toothache. Said we'll make a diff appt later 4 that. OMG!! Very nice staff but prices were outrageous & nobody cared I was in immediate pain. Be sure to get xray copies b4 leaving apparently my new dentist says trying to get them later they will not send from his experience. At least u will have the paper copies b4 leaving. Not recommended unless u have great private work dental insurance not any govt ins. Don't b tricked into the upsells, felt like I was buying a car. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I made an appointment a week before to ask clearly "DO YOU DO DENTAL CLEANING HERE?" To which they answered "YES" and scheduled an appointment for me. I went to the appointment just in time, to be surprised that when entering the clinic I would see 3 doctors and none of them would do a dental cleaning, on the contrary, each one told me "problems" that I had to solve with respect to my teeth, after two long hours a receptionist arrived to invite me to her office to tell me that my BILL WAS $7,000 !!! And that I wouldn't get a dental cleaning! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! read more

I was pleased with the care I received until a week after I called because I was still having some issues with swelling. They asked if I was allergic to anything I informed them yes and to what. Staff stated they would call in a Rx. I questioned if they wanted to see me before. I was told "we are getting ready to close". Go to get my Rx and it's for what I told them I was allergic to!!!! read more

Big ripoff they was going to do $500 to cut out little piece of skin on my upper lip. When they cut out the bone on the bottom on my mouth they was going to cut that skin out also but never didn't and still change me for it. Then they want $900 they didn't tell me about that charge. AVOID Aspen Dental in Marion at all costs. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. I'm new to town, and was looking for a place to get my teeth cleaned. Over the years, I've had my teeth cleaned at several different dental offices across the country as an uninsured patient. Never have I had such a poor experience as with Aspen. After showing up for my appointment for JUST a teeth cleaning, I was immediately ushered to the X-ray area. I voiced my concerns of just wanting a teeth cleaning, but they reassured me the Xray and exam were free and was a part of new patient enrollment. After the Xray, the team at Aspen Dental deployed their scare tactics. "Looks like you have gum disease!" "We're going to have to give you treatments for gingivitis, and you're going to need to start using an electric toothbrush" "You're going to end up losing the bone under your gums" "By the way, would you like to have your teeth whitened?" I ended up getting handed an invoice for nearly $600 and was told that I HAD to get the gingivitis treatment done first to get the teeth cleaning. Side note: I'm 30, I brush my teeth twice a day, I'm in great health (healthy eater, very low sugar intake, I run marathons, etc) I have gotten my teeth cleaned every 6 months for my entire life, and have had a whopping one cavity in my life.... Thanks anyway Aspen Dental. As I was leaving, I requested a copy of my Xrays. There was another patient at the counter who appeared to be upset and was refusing to pay the sum Aspen was asking for who knows what. Doesn't seem like they're in the business of helping people with oral care. It appears they'd much rather have you part with a large chunk of your hard earned money. read more

I was cancelled out at the day of the appointment. All that was needing to be done was a cleaning. The problem was it was rescheduled to November 8, 2021. The appointment was scheduled to September 29, 2021. The staff ended up hanging up on me when I asked to talk to a member of management. I would not recommend this Dental Service. read more

The staff & dentists at Aspen Dental in Marion, IN are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I was extremely nervous to go to a dentist but they made my visits bearable. Would recommend this office to anyone. read more

Do Not Go Here! I was a new patient. When I showed for my appointment, I was greeted by the X-Ray tech with, "Bare with me; I'm new." When she took me to the panoramic X-Ray machine, she appeared unsure and nervous. I asked her if she had ever done this before. She replied, "I've ran the equipment, but its so intimidating." However, she did successfully take the X-Ray. On the next set of X-Rays, she wanted to place a large object in my mouth. This is difficult for a person with an overactive gag reflex (me) and moderate dental-anxiety. I attempted, but was unable to complete the X-Ray. I simply said that I was refusing the X-Ray, and the dentist could see me without it (after all. I/my-insurance PAYS for that service). The original tech left and another tech came in and stated, "We HAVE to do the X-Rays!" I again stated, "I'm refusing the X-Rays today." She stated again, "We have to do them. If you don't do them, we can't see you." I again refused. Her reply: "For Real!?" In my opinion, this place is very unprofessional and unprepared for those suffering with special needs such as dental-anxiety or hyper-gag reflex. I left never to return, and Aspen lost my business. Worst of all, they presented themselves as frustrated and less than empathetic. As a person--myself--who works in healthcare, I know the importance of empathy and accommodation for patients. I have had competent dentists in the past, compassionate, empathetic, and prepared for "special needs" patients and unfortunately lost them due to a move from the area. If Aspen cannot provide professional and courteous services, then I will find a dentist who can. read more

I came to Aspen Dental to get dentures. The doctor was exceptionally careful to give me as pain-free and experiences possible. The staff are amazing and friendly. I'm constantly reminded to let them know if there are any problems whatsoever. This has been a fabulous experience. My smile has come out better than I had hoped. And I know that anytime I have an issue the Aspen staff will be behind me. read more
