She went in for a filling, and came out with a cracked tooth-to the point of the most severe pain and going to the ER multiple times. The dentist only gave her an antibiotic in case it got infected between the time they saw her and the time she could have a root canal-which was months later anywhere around-they gave her no novacaine or pain medication to ease the pain and intensity of an exposed nerve due to their lack of care. She called me crying in severe pain-only could drink and eat through a straw for an entire month. They still made her pay the bill for that filling that caused her this pain and the broken tooth and we had thousands of dollars worth of emergency dental visits and ER visits during that time. The dentist did not have empathy for her, the secretary yelled at her on the phone and said that we have talked about the bill multiple times and actually hung up on her! This entire situation made me furious and also cry as a mother; here I researched and tried to find the BEST dental facility that would take care of my college student while she was away in school, and they FAILED. Don't EVER go to this dentist. To top it all off, when my daughter was in the ER, there was a student two doors down from her that the same thing happened to by the SAME DENTIST!

I had a small cavity on my molar, they recommend a filling, after which my tooth became extremely…read moresensitive. After several weeks i went in only to find out my tooth had cracked; now i was needing a crown and root canal. They gave me a temporary crown while my actual crown would not be ready for three weeks. The night after my temp crown, i noticed an extreme irritation at the location of the crown, i called them and they told me to wait until my appointment. After three days of extreme pain, and my gums/cheeks bleeding, i demanded corrective action. Come to find out a new dental assistant used to much dental cement, and did not clean it properly; leaving a jagged mess to cut up my flesh. Luckily the owner fixed the temp, but i was left with a sore mouth. I finally receivedmy final crown, and the final bill; they charged me every step of the way. I understand things cost money, but the office administrator assured me at the beginning that my insurance would cover about 50%. So a month after my work was completed, i am sitting here with a tooth that still hurts, and a $2000 bill. Do not use Eagle Lake Dentistry, they are dubious at best, and they will not own up to their own mistakes. I would have never used them had they told me my insurance would not cover ANYTHING, but alas, money is more important than customer satisfaction and professionalism.
