My wife was referred to this location because of an implant that is having a problem and I have been told 3 times that they will call me back with an appointment for my wife. If you are not worried about giving all of your personal info to a customer service agent in another country whom has never set foot in Wisconsin, this may be your place. Was told first exam and x-rays are free, only to be called by a different receptionist the next day to say their would be a $30 fee and I would need to reschedule my appointment if I wanted the services I was going in for. I needed an extraction of two teeth done very quick, as I was leaving for business the next day. I called EVERY dentist in the area, and Aspen was the ONLY place that would get me in and take care of my needs. Meghan spent most of a full day trying to find room to squeeze me in somewhere. She kept close contact with me, giving me updates with her progress. She was able to fit me in, and for that I am grateful. Everyone at the office was extremely kind and caring. Dr Warens was beyond awesome. Very caring, asking me constantly during the procedure if I was ok and if I was feeling any pain. I just can't say enough about this office. STAY AWAY! I don't even know where to begin. Went in for a broken molar, the dentist looked at it for ten seconds before deciding it had to either be pulled or a root canal performed. Said nothing to me about my X-rays. Waited 60 minutes to see the office manager to discuss my treatment plan. When I finally got to meet with her, she tells me I have NINE cavities. Okay, so why didn't the dentist mention this to me when I was sitting there with her with my X-rays right there. I was instantly suspicious that they were trying to pull a fast one on me. I take great care of my teeth, but have been prone to cavities.... But NINE?! At one time? If a patient has NINE cavities, the dentist should go over the X-rays with the patient. On top of all that, the lady who seemed to be an assistant of some sort, was telling me about how they were making fun of an elderly man who had been in the day before, and she said she laughed so hard she peed her pants. Then she went on to tell me about her smoking habit and wanting to go outside for a break. She was friendly, but come on! You DON'T make fun of patients and you definitely don't discuss your bodily functions or bad habits with patients. I knew there was a reason I said I was never going back there after the last hack job they performed on me, but now I know I will NEVER step foot in there again. I'm going elsewhere to get a second opinion.... And hey, if I DO have nine cavities, I bet the dentist will point them out to me to assure me he or she isn't trying to make a quick buck off of me. read more

my first few visits would have rated one or less stars, but with some personnel changes things have improved. I have not been pleased with a bridge and I am getting it replaced, the former staff made some poor recommendations, which are being corrected. I will re-review after the process is completed, They have been pleasant and cooperative with the replacement. read more

I have not been happy with the two experiences I have had at Aspen Dental. First, they insisted on two appointments; one for x-rays and a different appointment for a cleaning. Second, during my cleaning, my hygienist was very rough causing unnescsfary discomfort and was not very pleasant. Third, at the end of my cleaning she handed me what appeared to be mouthwash and asked my to rinse for 30 seconds. I found out after the fact that it was a fluoride rinse that I was charged $44. I was not asked if I wanted this treatment nor was it covered by my insurance. For the above reasons I will not be going back and cannot advise anyone else to patronize. read more

Don't go here! You will be mocked and given the guilt treatment. They will try to get you to do procedures you do not want, nor will they tell you the price up front. They rush to get you to sign up for a "plan". I felt they were more concerned with cash flow than my health. This is the Wal-mart of dentistry. My wife had a crown made and installed in roughly August of 2015. Some of the results: 1. Aspen overcharged my wife by $260, and I discovered this "by accident" in October of 2016. When I called the Aspen office, Sarah indicated that she (office manager) had no excuse as to why she or Aspen did not put any effort into returning the money over a 14 month period of time, nor did she explain why the overcharge occurred. 2. Sarah misled me about a man name Conner. Sarah indicated that Conner is not the owner of the practice, and he no longer worked in the Manitowoc office. The "central administrative office" of Aspen indicated that Sarah was incorrect about both facts...Conner is the owner, and Conner does work in Manitowoc...and Conner refuses to talk with me about the unrefunded overcharge. 3. the crown that was installed in my wife's mouth in roughly August of 2015 failed in October of 2016 (the crown popped off while chewing on some ham)...and the Manitowoc office took no responsibility whatsoever. As my wife and I now live in Appleton, we had the Appleton Aspen office review the failed crown, and the Appleton office's owner/dentist named Leyes indicated that there was nothing wrong with the crown or the foundation for the crown, or the condition of the underlying tooth....yet, the Manitowoc Aspen office and Appleton Aspen office refused to re-cement the crown or take amy responsibility for this failed, expensive crown. My bottom line: Aspen in Manitowoc committed Fraud by overcharging us and not professionally refunding the $260...if I did not find the problem., Aspen would have simply kept our money...they did keep it for 14 months already. Also, Aspen does not stand behind their expensive services and Mr. Conner will not even discuss these matters with us. Trust Aspen as a professional Dentist operation? NO WAY. read more

Be informed that this Aspen dental facility used unethical methods to discourage our special needs individual on a good state plan even though facility says it takes all kinds of insurance. Our individual who is cognitively disabled has UHC state plan insurance. This dental organization is so business greedy that they refused service to the individual even after performing examination at which the dentist spoke with the representative explaining that all that was needed was a filling and a regular cleaning. Then when we called back to schedule the procedures (because office was in multiple employee transition so we were told they could not schedule that day) then they had tacked on a 3 phase medical cleaning plus meds, a 150 dollar toothbrush and a line of bull that demanded we accept the over $370 out of pocket extra bill, aside from the fillings that would be covered or they would not accept this individual as a patient. The patient is easy to deal with, mild cognitive delays and speech delays as well as response inconsistencies. Yet, this organization had no problem discriminating against and treating as a low class citizen and perfectly stiff about refusing treatment at all if we did not accept this (after the fact tacked on) regimen totally. We will stay away. We have since found an honest, committed to dental code of honor, awesomely kind and caring dentist. All that was needed was a general cleaning and one filling.
