Save your time and sanity by not using Aspen Dental of Leesburg Fl. Twice on the morning of my appointments, I received phone calls saying I needed to reschedule because employees called out. I've been sitting in the lobby and watched customers walk in and were told they needed to reschedule due to lack of employees. The office manager is horrible and escalates the situation immediately, he turns their problems into your problem. I had a credit and decided after my last appointment cancellation by Aspen. Im done with them. Save yourself alot of grief. Plus Aspen is expensive. There's plenty of Dental options. Good luck. I hope this review helps others. went to this office and I am very disappointed. first its the cost. they charged me over 350.00 dollars. never have I had to pay this amount for a genera maintenance. then on an visit I got pre-approved for a crown and my insurance said not to pay more than amount approved. they agreed and when I arrived they in formed me that I had to pay almost 600. dollar more. DO NOT EVER SEEK CARE AT THIS PLACE!!! If there would be MINUS stars here on Yelp, it would be a -10 review! Procedure would've probably been done in a more professional way by a butcher as by the doctor of this place. Although all post OP instructions were followed very carefully, stiches on gums were lose and came off only hours after procedure, so now three months later there's still a large open wound - I now have to go to another doctor to fix what Aspen Dental botched in the worst possible way. On top of that, after three appeal letters including detailed complaints and grounds why the should lower the amount of the invoice they sent me, they're ignoring me entirely, did not once engage in an actual factual based debate and now threaten me with collections. This is not a dental practice, but a SCAM place full of Botchers, who want to charge you thousands of Dollars for unsuccessfully performed 10 minutes procedures. read more

Aspen Dental- is not a reputable firm. I scheduled an appointment, was told by the hygienist I needed my teeth "scaled", that I had periodontal disease and need this "DEEP" cleaning. Well, the scaling cost $1300, but you can get the Aspen dental plan. You can finance it through Care Credit. They were pushy and I felt use, "used car salesmen" tactics. Worst of all I shared my experience with others and they had similar experiences. read more

We had a 1 pm appointment at Aspen Dental, Leesburg. We arrived for the appointment and were told that the person who had to perform the procedure had called in sick and so the service could not be performed. They had all morning to have called to tell us this, but didn't bother so we wasted 40 miles of driving which could have easily been avoided. We stood there and rescheduled the appointment for the following Monday. We went back for that appointment and were told that we were a "no show" for the previous appointment so the computer automatically cancels all appointments. We said we were not a "no show" and had in fact checked in and stood right there and made the new appointment. They said they did not know how we got entered as "no show", but that we did not have an appointment for that day. I could write a book about Aspen Dental telling us that things were not covered by our insurance when they were, double billing for a service and then billing us for the double service for nine months, and on and on. The office help there is so messed up that I don't think anything short of firing them all and starting over will ever straighten this mess out. read more

Could have been worst for me if I hadn't read reviews. I'll skip the place as well as the Mt. Dora office. I went today to get a price on the removal of 20 teeth and get a full set of dentures, well due to an emergency the dentist had, apparently only one dentist there, they were closed. When I knocked and asked to make an appointment I was told "no" because computers were down. Just excuses, and if all was off limits why were those 2 young ladies available to tell me no sale today. however online appointments were possible. Give me a break, if they run the front like this I can only imagine how the back is run. Also I had to have an exam and x-rays before they could talk to me, But I brought a copy of my x-ray and a dental chart showing the exact teeth to be removed. Went for routine 6 month cleaning and was told I need a "deep cleaning". The out of pocket expense after insurance was $750. I was skeptical because I take very good care of my teeth and had no issues so I requested a digital copy of the x-rays which they reluctantly provided. I took them to not one but two other dentist offices where they reviewed the x-rays and conducted complimentary exams. Both informed me that in their professional opinion I did not need a deep cleaning. I returned to Aspen and requested a routine cleaning. I explained to the dentist that in the opinion of 2 other dentists a deep cleaning was not necessary. He said no to the routine cleaning and told me to go elsewhere! I gladly did. It was basically an hour long sales pitch. I didn't want the Invisalign, and after I made that clear, they weren't nearly as polite. They have wonderful technicians at this location, but the actual dentist, while very nice, hasn't got anything on an actual seasoned private dentist. If I needed something serious done, I wouldn't want him to be the one doing it. Spend a little more at a reputable, local dentist. You'll get so much more there than you will here. read more

I am very thankful to this place. I took an emergency trip to Florida because my mom was in hospice and of course my teeth chose this special time to start becoming really painful and sensitive. I had the world's most awful dental insurance (non-existent!) and I called them and spoke to a nice lady who helped me get the quickest appointment available for an evaluation. Because I didn't have insurance, my evaluation and X-rays were free!!! The office I went to was very clean and had the most beautiful technology I'd ever seen. All of the staff was so nice to me, and I felt like a priority even though I didn't have insurance and they were evaluating me for free. Also when I forgot to mention, I was totally late by accident (I went to a different location by mistake) I called and explained what happened and the dentist still took me in They gave me my referral for the oral surgeon (darn wisdom teeth) and I have access to my x-rays. I am so grateful to the office in Leesburg, FL. I will definitely be using these guys as my regular dentist from now on! read more

No one likes to get a tooth pulled, but the staff at Aspen Dental in Leesburg Fl. were great! Bailey greeted me with a smile, Kristi calmed my anxiety as we chatted and my X-rays were done, Dr Nguyen was very nice even though he told me what I didn't want to hear, Marisa explained prices and helped me with future dental plans, Lindsay was an angel helping me through the procedure and everything I needed for my discharge instructions. What I liked best was how well the staff worked together. And interacted with each other. They like where they work and who they work with. Thank you all for a positive experience! read more

I have had a terrible experience. In one years time I spent 2500. One cap fell off and one cap broke. Now I'm told they won't fix or reimburse. Also two fillings they did also have problems. read more

I've had a fear of dentist my whole life I broke my tooth and was in a lot of pain and went to Aspen and everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to get me approved and the drs were soooooo very good and took great care of me I recommend Aspen for all dental needs for all ages I know for sure I will never go back to another office read more
