Staff are friendly enough except my denture was ill fitting from the start. It has caused me severe pain since I got it. They just can't get it right. I've had two soft relines and now they want to do a hard reline. I've never been able to speak properly, the overbite is about a quarter inch and my bite is misaligned. I'm ready to go get a whole new one after only two years and I'll have to pay out of pocket, which is not cheap. I've expressed my concerns and they always blame it on me. read more

I set up a appointment for my husband because they was a in network provider with in insurance company. I confirmed multiple times this fact. Aspen is a in net work provider with Met life dental. But this office set him up with a doctor that was not and had not been for over a year. I have called multiple times to resovle this one lady said oh yea I see this happen all the time. She stated she was going to fix it. I talked with a Miles A who was awful and rude and told me that it was my deductible. I expained to him that was because the Dr. Robinson not. He was not able to understand was being told to him. That this error is on the office because I confirmed with them multiple times to ensure that it was a in network. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Talk about bait and switch, I called into to schedule a appointment I was told the exam was free because I was a new patient. And the extraction was 120$ and it would be done the same day. I got to the office and gave them my cc and filled out the new patient info. Got my x ray paid and then saw the doctor. Came back out and was told it was another 260$ for the extraction and it would have to be scheduled for another day. We'll thanks to their dishonest business practices I still have a broken tooth and there trying to charge me 260$ to get anything fixed. I went there to get a tooth added to my partial. First off , it will cost more than usual because you have a metal frame-we will have to send it out to a lab. That was okay with me. I went to have the impression and was told that it would be ready in two weeks, also okay with me. The next day I was called and told that my partial was done , can be picked up at anytime. I was shocked and asked why they didn't send it out to the lab. They decided to fix it there, okay I went to pick it up- I was handed my partial in a plastic bag, and was told to go in the public restroom and try it on-still okay, I put the partial in and smiled ,looked into the mirror--shocked! The tooth wasn't there, still missing. NOT OKAY. I WENT BACK TO THE DESK AND WAS TOLD TO HAVE A SEAT AN SHE WOULD CHECK IT OUT. SHE CAME BACK AND TOLD ME- THE DENTIST WAS SORRY HE MUST HAVE PUT THE TOOTH INN THE WRONG PLACE. This office is horrible. Lack of communication is the first thing. Second is the unprofessional approach. I needed two veneers replaced less than a year old charged me 1500 for them. Awful experience from beginning to end. Shoddy work that needed immediate correction by another dentist (who was very dismayed by the quality of the work that was performed). My husband saw Dr. Nigatu at the Aspen Dental in Chillecothe. We were blown away by how fantastic our experience was. He went above and beyond to fix dentures that were poorly made (by our old dentist), so that he is now able to wear them. He made multiple adjustments and was so patient. He knew exactly what should be done. Jeremy is also terrific. He did the soft re-line and was so patient and skillful. All this happened on a Saturday! Everyone in the office was so friendly and didn't seem like they were in a hurry. Prices were fair and everything was explained to us. I would have rated this company less than 1 if I could have. I would have rated it -100!!!! I had a TOTAL NIGHTMARE at this dentist. They were Aspen Dental in Chillicothe, Ohio. I had a horrible toothache in the top right. In figured THAT ONE TOOTH might need to be pulled, but I was not ready for what this so called "professional" told me when he told me "every tooth needs to come out." He actually told me that there were major problems on every tooth in my mouth. He said that after pulling my teeth they would fit me for a FULL SET OF DENTURES!!!! That was all they were after, I found out later. They made an appointment for me within a few days to remove ALL MY TEETH, and me being so totally naive, I believed this "PROFESSIONAL" and what he said I needed. So I returned for the next appointment and was surprised when the dentist came in that it was not the same guy I had seen just a few days before. When I asked about the other guy, after all, he was the one who had diagnosed me, I was told he was no longer with their practice. So, I was given the numbing shots in my mouth and he went to work removing my teeth. I remember that there was A LOT OF FORCE NECESSARY to remove most of my teeth. One in particular, he all but had to stand with a foot on either side of my head and pull that hard to remove that one tooth. I remember thinking why would a BAD tooth be so difficult to remove? He finally finished and packed my mouth to help with the bleeding. They had taken X-rays and used stuff to make a mold of my teeth and they had made a QUICKIE full set of dentures which he proceeded to shove into my mouth and he told me NOT TO REMOVE THEM FOR THREE DAYS!!!!! My mouth was still bloody and now I had dentures sitting on top of these bloody holes in my mouth!!!! I had to wait for my full set of good dentures for several weeks for my mouth to heal and they would then fit them in my mouth. I found out how much I HATED DENTURES!!!! I wanted to have them set permanentl6 but found out there was no way I could afford the good dentures, let alone the $30,000 they wanted for the implants to be done!!!! So, I felt they had forced me to make the WORST POSSIBLE DECISION I HAD EVER MADE IN MY LIFE AND I WOULD BE FORCED TO LIVE WITH THAT DECISION EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!! I actually had another dentist review my original X-rays and she looked at me, IN TEARS, and apologized to me for someone in her profession to have done this too me, that only two teeth or so actually need to come out. I ended up going to the BBB and reported a complaint to them and what ended up happening was a full refund for everything I had paid them after my teeth had been pulled. So, they finally were paid only for the removal of my teeth, which was the beginning of the worst, most painful, weeks of my life!!!! I believe everyone needs to be warned about these people. They are crooks who only want to sell THEIR DENTURES. read more

I have travelled through the US for the last 40 years and thus have experiences with several. This was, undoubtedly the worst I have ever experienced. More like going to a car lot than seeing a dentist!! Poor exam (didn't even check something I mentioned.) Sent to an "saleswoman" to discuss my wife's treatment plan. She couldn't answer my questions (that's why REAL dentists are the one's who normally discuss treatment plans.) Costs seemed high, but since I had insurance, I probably would have went ahead with treatment, except they had to talk to their finance people (like a car lot) to ensure they received my insurance AND all my copay before doing any work. Would not work with the at all in spite of the fact that the work was going to extend to 2016 (thus more insurance money for them), and, the total cost was over $5,000, and, my part was going to be approximately $1,000. Plus, they don't even have Nitrous Oxide available (haven't seen that in 30 years!) Would not even clean my teeth the same day . . . I won't even let them clean my teeth. Got a copy of X-rays and exam . . . seeing another dentist next Friday. Told them I made the mistake of going to Aspen Dental . . . they clearly understood!! read more
