I do not recommend they made me lose over 500 dollars on my ins. and the dentures have never fit right.

Picture this. It's December 23rd, 9 pm. Your grand dog is chewing on something hard. No big deal, right? Wrong! Turned out to be my husband's upper plate. One call to Aspen Dental and we had an appointment 8an next day, Christmas Eve. At first they said they couldn't save them, gave us another place to try. No dice, they were closed. We went back in and said whatever you can do, please! When I tell you it was a Christmas gift, let me tell you. They knocked it out of the park! I wish I knew the lady's name who repaired them. Had an appointment in October 2022 and it was probably my worse visit ever to the dental office. The hygienist was not friendly , the service was poor, and they tried to charge me for services I did not receive. I do recommend this place to anyone. read more

Avoid them at all cost. I have been given the worse experience especially AFTER I paid for service. Consultation seemed fine then I paid for the service, there was a computer issue...understandably things happened but nothing to accommodate the inconvenience for me. My records were "lost" in the computer issue and what I consulted for is not what I supposedly paid for and that will be additional money that I was not told (scam likely here). They have started the work so I don't want to skip dentist mid work. I cancel an appointment, no problem, I call to make an appointment and being told I have a balance and cant make an appointment until that is paid but when I left my last appointment I still had a credit on my account. How do I now have a balance but had an appointment that was cancelled (so no work was done but now I have a balance)??? This is frustrating and I have gotten scammed out of finances. Update: Someone did call me back and took the time to explain to me what was going on. The attention to this matter was not expected but is greatly appreciated. Thank you. read more

I would Not recommend this to anyone. Here's my story... I went in because I had one of my implants to come out. After all these test. They told me that they would have to pull all my teeth out. Oh wow! I was shocked. To say the least. You mean my implants to they said yes. And put dentures in. I was sick for a week. Decided to see another dentist. They couldn't believe it either. They said there was nothing wrong with my teeth. And I just had one cavity. So I'm Just going to say don't waste your money. And please get a second opinion. read more

Went to Aspen Dental for the first time today for a cleaning. My procedure was done by Jenny, who I call the singing Hygienist. I thoroughly enjoyed her up beat and positive attitude. I do recommend her for next cleaning. read more

Aspen Dental advertised on TV a special on relining dentures. So, I called and inquired about the ad. The customer service lady told me since I got my dentures at another place they really didn't like touching other people's work. She looked up a price and told me it would cost to reline my lower dentures $320. WOW ! Talk about false advertisement!! That was the Bessemer Office. read more

Went in for a root canal. Left the place broke, and with a broken tooth, not the one treated of course, but another tooth. My tooth was not broke when I went in there nor did I have any pain at all in that spot. I try to call numerous times without any answer at all. I was asked "How did you not feel it" bahahahaha, guess the shot worked well when you were doing the root canal, ya think?. The root canal turned out great but now I have maxed out dental insurance, a badly broken tooth, in severe pain, and somehow the problem is mine......ALL MINE- get checked before you leave to make sure more damage is not caused during your visit- read more

This was my first time at Aspen Dental and I wasn't aware that I had to go through all these processes as a New Patient. I just wanted my teeth cleaned and I thought that was what I was going to get...but I was wrong...So my appointment was at 7:00 am, I arrived with my paper work completed and sat in the waiting room. Two people were called before me, and I wasn't called back until 7:20 am. The people there were friendly I will give them that. I was taken to the X-ray room, and X-rays were taken of my teeth 50 different kind of ways...well it felt like that many anyway...the ones where I had to put this thing in my mouth were painful, but I was like whatever I haven't been to the dentist in a year and this is a new place so I went along with that. After that I was taken back to the exam room where I thought I was going to get my teeth cleaned, I was asked a few more questions and was told the Hygienist would be in. She finally came in and I was like okay, now I can get my teeth cleaned...she told me that she was going to look over my teeth and tell me what would need to be done. I told her I just need a cleaning....so she examined my teeth, counted the spaces between and checked for oral cancer (which was 30 dollars extra that I paid) and said the dentist would be in. By this time i was almost 8:00 am I was there for almost an hour. The dentist came in with an assistant and poked my teeth and said that they were nice and I would need a cleaning...(well duh that is why I was there) she told me I would be going over to the Finance Desk to get a price quote. At this time I was pissed! I wasted over an hour and I still haven't had my teeth cleaned. I went to the desk and the lady told me that she could schedule my appointment. I was upset and told her that I couldn't do it today because I had to get to work by 9am. By now it was like 8:15. She told me my cost was Zero (well no shit, because my insurance covers teeth cleaning) and I told her I couldn't get my teeth cleaned today because I had to get to work and wasted over an hour of my morning. She scheduled me for a cleaning tomorrow, and I am only going back since I wasted all that time and need a cleaning. I will not be back after that.... read more

First off, I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, but wasn't seen until 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Secondly, I scheduled my appointment wanting a cleaning an annual exam. The scheduling clerk only put me in for a "limited exam." I mentioned pain around one tooth and concern about an infection. The dentist ordered xrays, but the tech only took one set, based on the tooth where I had pain, even though I was due for a full set. She didn't put on the lead vest until after I demanded it. Dr. Parker looked in my chart, saw that another dentist did a filling on that tooth last year. She refused to exam me further and tried to schedule me for a visit with that dentist. Mind you, I've already wasted 2 hours of my day. I was pissed that the scheduling clerk never mentioned that I would have to schedule my appointment with another dentist. If she had when I made the initial appointment, I would have picked a different day/time. I refused to leave until Dr. Parker completed her exam. Well, she didn't. She gave a half-assed look at the tooth and said it looked fine. She didn't look at the other 27 teeth. She tried to schedule me for a cleaning (as I had originally wanted), but the hygienist was booked. I would have to come back later that afternoon or on a different day. Again...2 hours wasted. The whole appointment should have been less than that, including a full exam and a cleaning. No employee of that center ever apologized for making me wait or for scheduling me for the wrong appointment. Instead, they actually implied that it was my fault for demanding more than what was on the schedule. Moral of the story: Don't go to Aspen Dental. This clinic has convinced me to take my money and time elsewhere. read more

Prices are definitely outrageous here. But the service is good. We always leave here happy with nice clean teeth. I would recommend being more upfront with your prices. But overall we're happy. read more

I scheduled a cleaning and 2.5 hrs later I still don't have clean teeth! You know that feeling you get when you take your car in for an oil change and you leave with needing a new motor - that's the same feeling I have here. You go through a stack of paperwork, x-rays that feel like torture due to antiquated tools and inconsiderate staff. Then you get a check if your gums and then a diagnosis of everything under the spectrum that requires you to get expensive work done and multiple follow up visits. No relationship building, no chairside manner. Do not come to this place. You will leave unhappy and needing to spend more at another dentists just to get a cleaning read more
