I think they wash the whole thin blanket thing, it was just rough and porous, i used the towel for a thicker, softer covering between myself and the I was also able to get to and from the spice market, Grand Bazzar, Topkapi Palace, Aya Sophia, Blue mosque, and underground cisterns from here via trolly for 3 Turkish lira each way, Just write down the name of the stop before you get on so you don't pass it on the way back (and count the # of stops)

Asking about a hot jacuzzi then finding out it is only a very cold jacuzzi. 2. A room that smelled musty/dank. 3. Being asked to pay $5 USD for a piece of plastic to cover your hair just to sit in the cold jacuzzi. 4. Being denied a request for a corkscrew or for a small iron to remove a wrinkle. 5. Poor quality Wi-Fi in restaurant and room. Multiple dropped calls. 6. When I tried to cancel my 2nd day stay, the front desk told me with confidence that I needed to contact Orbitz. I did so, after spending a frustrating hour on the phone with Orbitz (dropped calls on poor quality hotel Wi-Fi). I was later told by Orbitz and the front desk that it was the hotel (only) that refused to cancel my stay (I paid the hotel directly). 7. The quality of the breakfast was "ok" and far short of the Marmara Hotel. All of these issues have been inconsistent with many great hotels in this great country. On the positive side, the roof deck offers great views of the waterfront and the room is well designed. The lobby was also very pleasant.

Terrible hotel for Americans ! Terrible hotel...period…read more Front desk barely can speak English! The staff is constantly staring at us like we had branches coming out of our ears!! Staff was very rude, very unprofessional . There is no clear directions on the room service menus , no number to call for room service. Our room card always did not work and yet the front desk felt inconvenienced because we just wanted to get into our room!! There is 4 stations on the tv which looks like a blizzard on every station (bad reception). Nothing about the free breakfast, I had to ask another hotel guest. They kept moving us from room to room and hurrying us every step . Plus the bellboy had the WORST body oder!!! The "fitness center" is a joke!!! One treadmill and one elliptical trainer!! It said "open" (it was 7:30 am) but the doors were locked. The only redeeming quality was an honest room maid. We went to breakfast thinking we had time to come back to the room before the room maid came. So we left all our values out. To our surprise the room was cleaned but all our valuables in place. Very safe area to walk and explore. We stayed late at night and we felt safe. Breakfast is awesome. Shopping, restaurants, and bars are next door. Night life and entertainment close too. Many mosques are close by. The manager, Ahmet, the manager, is great and helpful and so is the rest of the crew.
