This is a favourite restaurant of my Mom's; it is close to where she lives, and is comfortably wheelchair accessible (or so is my impression) so she especially appreciates going here. In April I ordered delivery for her (long distance) as lockdown isolation was impacting her appetite. This was still while restos were figuring out their procedures and contactless protocols, so was happy Asian was able to deliver at that time ( I could not pickup - not in town). My first time coming in this Asian restaurant and I would never refer this place to anyone. I ordered the mushroom soup and it tasted dirty water with some egg drop inside. By mistake I ordered Fried rice with Pineapple and realized they put nuts inside. I asked if I could change it and they said no And have to pay for it. First the fives. Enterior is very nicely done. Washrooms as well and very clean. Nice friendly staff. We ordered the Singapore Noodles. It arrived in a nice bowl shaped as a boat, very nice presentation. Plenty of vegetables, chicken and shrimp. Very tasty sauce which had green curry as a base. The noodles ... augh the noodles. The menu described rice noodles which is what expected with this dish. What we received was spaghetti noodles at best. If the kitchen was out of the proper noodles they should of told us if this is "fusion" than I cannot recommend this dish prepared in this way. read more

While visiting my parents, we went for dinner at Asian. I wasn't sure what to make of the establishment when we first pulled up, but was pleased upon entering. It has a darker lit atmosphere that makes for a more intimate dining experience. Our server was fantastic, humouring our meal substitutions and drink requests. The food was awesome! We are very satisfied (both in experience and food)! If I lived in the Thunder Bay area, this would easily be a frequent and favourite dining location. Alas, I will make a point to return on a future visit to the area. read more

This place is super expensive in my opinion. The food is good and serving sizes are large, but I can't justify the price. Not a big deal, but when you order a drink, they serve it to you in a can, which I find kind of tacky. read more

The staff at Asian really know the meaning of good customer service. They are friendly, accomodating, and remember personal likes and dislikes. They deliver to areas where most restaurants will not. Best of all, the food is excellent. read more
