As apart of my study abroad experience I have decided to try new things. I am so happy that I did. This is a fabulous restaurant, small yet chic. I would have to say this restaurant would be perfect for date night. The dining area is large with elegant lighting and decor. Floor to ceiling windows gives this restaurant a New York City vibe, so I would say it doubles as a nice spot for people watching. The food was fantastic. As this was my first time I decided to go small. I ordered Piek Kai (marinated chicken wings), and Tom Yum Kai (a Thai version of chicken soup). These items were flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Neither over cooked nor under cooked, the chicken was crispy and delicious. I also feel the prices were very reasonable. My order came to 12,20 euros. Not bad at all for a soup and an appetizer. I would have given this restaurant five stars had I not have had to pay for a to go bag. Evidently this is a running theme in the Netherlands; one is charged for a bag in a number of stores. I would advise bringing your own bag if taking food to go.

Price: 15€ phat Thai is too pricy but is tasty. I wish they had this for lunch special. Tip: It seems that they have a taco night on weekends. Thai restaurant, why?!? The menu is limited but the selection is sufficient. There are both noodles and rice options and one vegetarian option. You can, however, order one of other items and substitute in tofu for the meat. All lunch menu items come with your choice of soup or spring roll. I chose the soup and it's not spicy at all and it's unfamiliar. It's a dark soup with egg and a lot of spices. I tried menu item 2 and it was more or less pad see ew but instead of flat noodles, they are chow mein noodles. It satisfied my lunchtime craving. The lunch menu also includes drinks and the prices and options are listed on the back. I ordered green tea (the other option was jasmine) and it is served in a small teapot and a smaller tea cup. Service was friendly and the food was decent. I would come back and also recommend, if you need Thai food in Oldenburg.

This place has good food for adults but is pricey and is not suitable for families with kids. They…read morehave a kids menu but the kids food is substandard according to my three kids. First, kids got coloring pages but then not much more was done for them. Kids did not receive a free appetizer from the kitchen. This would be ok if they would serve the kids main course first. In our case I got my food, then two more adults and when the waitress wondered why we were not starting to eat I had to tell her that we could not start before the kids had their food. My kids are pretty patient but after no greeting from the kitchen, side salad served they could not stand seeing the adults main courses been brought out first. Their food was substandard. Dry rice noodles and not enough chicken to even satisfy a six year old. No soya sauce, only carbonated water in large bottles making us order tons of small bottles, ... Obviously, the Thai food was not authentic. In all fairness, the adult food was good. However, we would not go again with kids.
