If it were possible to leave 0 stars on the website i would indefinitely!! the service was inconvenient and slow . Not only was the store manager insanely rude they weren't helpful at all ! I found myself asking questions about products as well as store items ! not only were my questions not answered THE STORE OWNERS SON WAS ON HIS PHONE UNATTENTIVE TO THE CUSTOMERS IN STORE ! I have never in my life experienced such hostility in any grocery store for that matter ! As well as the methods they use to cut and stock fresh produce ??? The other co owner was slicing produce on a disgusting dirt covered floor and restocking them back onto the shelf's without washing or sanitizing produce !! i would not recommend BUYING OR EATING anything from this location !! After this experience i was in the process of getting a refund FOR THE ITEMS and the female OWNER had a COMPLETE MELTDOWN and threw all the items i asked for a refund onto the other side of the counter ! You better know exactly what you want when you go in there because aside from their limited stock and virtually no one around to help you, I received a very loud and public lecture in perfect English on how I should've read the Asian labels with the tiniest English translation from the Asian checkout lady. On top of that she tried to humiliate me to an Asian customer when I walked away to change what I had in my basket. I have traveled the world and have asked questions in outdoor markets and specialty/ethnic stores and this was truly the worst experience I've ever had in any ethnic market. I will never be back! Cool Asian market in between Bonita Springs and Naples. The reason we visit is curious about their inventory on sake - rice wine. Most of the sake there are typically normal grade sake. They had one high grade sake cost one hundred dollars with 60% grain. The best Sake is make from 40% grain size of the rice. The grocery store has fresh veggies and fruit. Which make an oriental store one stop shopping. They also carry many of the oriental spice and sauces. It is enough to make a good ingredient with sauce. I would said this oriental store is closer to the Vietnamese grocery. Although they carry many other type of oriental items, I would said is Vietnamese grocery. They have much more inventory now. You have to be an adventurist to shop thoroughly here. Walk down all the aisles, so much to see. Over half the stuff I have no idea what it is but def a chef would know more. There's no attempt to market, basically open the box the items came in bulk and display on shelves. Even the top shelves of the frig, you have to get in there and turn over the items. They sell lots of teas, even essential oils now. Tea sets, lots of gift items typical of a Chinatown five and ten. I'm so disappointed with this people .They have never been friendly over there but you know who cares i have always told is just the language barrier.Well it was not:They are just rood.I have been shopping there for years always get my stuff in and out.Most of the stuff was good .A few times I got products they were not the way supposed to be I have never complained.But this I did.Twice in a row they sold me Masago(fish roe) the it was bad .The first time I still didn't say nothing but the second I went and told them.And demand my money back for the second one.It smelled like that fish.It was terrible.They got angry because I'm returning stuff and they say the I'll get my money back but I can't shop from them anymore because I have complained.WTF.??!!! There is a dearth of good asian food in SW Florida. Asian Market does its best to support the growing Asian population in Ft. Myers. Although their selection of products is average, they have been making big strides in improving their service and selection. This store is loaded with so many great and awesome far east and asian food and supplies, it is amazing. From spices, sauces, eating and dish supplies, fresh produce, frozen meals and dishes, it is great. This used to be my go to Asian market place. I've been going there for years. However the last time I needed some items I sent my girlfriend in to pick them up. I gave her a list of items that we need it to make dinner. So I called ahead of time to let them know that she would be coming in and to please help for find the items as she was not familiar with him. When she got there the woman at the front was not helpful at all and merely pointed to the back for her to go look for the stuff. Still needing help she asked the owner if he could help her and he merely brushed her off and was very rude! Therefore I will never be going back to this place. I go here all the time but if the lady is at the counter, I will turn around and leave . She is one of the rudest people I have ever met in a store. Asking her a question is frightening. This place used to be my go-to for my random spices and snacks I like to buy. The last few times I found myself here they don't have stuff like they used to, (or maybe I just can't find it because everything is crammed into strange places, unmarked with no rhyme or reason) sometimes things are out of date and the help hasn't been very nice. It's not cheap to shop here either. I still love all the random nick knacks and pots and bowls they have on the right side of the store, and there's a great selection of tea and incense. I hate to give such low ratings. They do carry some hard to find items. HOWEVER, the part that drives me nuts is half the stuff is not priced, then the stuff that is, they try and tell you it's actually a different price at the register. What? Crazy! This place is a disaster. total chaos and the people who work there are beyond rude. There's stuff all over the floor and nothing is organized so you have no idea where to look for anything. There are so many boxes on the floor you can't even get close enough to the shelves to read the labels. I asked the guy who works there for sambal oelek and he said they didn't have it - and then I found it by chance 10 minutes later. If you don't know, just say you don't know. I accidentally dropped a $4 bottle of sauce while spending almost $50 there and the woman just berated me like I was a five year old kid running around, knocking crap off the shelves on purpose. She literally went on and on and on about how she never wants to see a bottle on the floor again and how much work it is to clean it up and she can't believe that I dropped it and I better use a basket next time. My husband and I have shopped there several times because it's the only store that has a large selection of Asian products. Today he went in alone and came out furious! He asked the girl who was busy on her cell phone for Kung Pao sauce. She pointed to the aisle and looked pissed for being bothered. Then when my husband went back to her to tell her he couldn't find it, she yelled and said ' told you it was over there' pointing to the bottom shelf. My husband told her that he couldn't bend because he's handicap and that she should've gone there and gotten it for him. Then her father came over and none of them apologized after seeing how upset my husband was. They do not know how to deal with customers, I think they need some training. Awful! Rude! At one time they were the only Asian market in Naples. I would go in there and ask for help and either the person didn't speak English or just didn't care. When I would ask for a certain product, they would have no ideas if they had it or when it would be back in stock. I started ordering off amazon. I went to Asia Market today to purchase some Asian items that I was not familiar with for a particular recipe. Thinking I could ask a sales person for help but when I approached someone she merely directed me to aisles with little information and treated me as a major interruption . It was difficult to locate these items on heavily stocked shelves with a lot of different products, so I asked again for help.....she was quite annoyed but came over and very loudly kept pointing in the direction of the item while repeating the item name several times not allowing me to ask a question about it. I put down all of the items I had so far and left the store .......A few blocks away I went to lee Asian market they couldn't have been more helpful not only did they help me locate the items they told me useful information on how to use and store the items.
