No kidding when it is called mall. This place is huge. It contains all you need on Asian cuisine, the place is stocked well and have ample parking in front that is shared. As you enter the store, grab a cart, and you will find grocery utensils, fresh veggies, and a freezer aisle. The place looks busy with a lot of folks shopping here and the prices are reasonable. I was able to get the spices I was looking for. The lines could get busy but worked well for me.

The Asia Mall is right off the 13th St. Exit of 83. It's a collection of a few eateries, a "spa" and an Asian Market. Don't be intimidated by the crazy parking lot! It seems completely improvised by the people. Any lines painted on the ground are merely guidelines. Kanlaya Thai has been there forever and it's fantastic. The Vietnamese pho place seems to change hands and name every other year or so. I just dined, for the first time, at New Orleans Po Boy and I am OBSESSED. Seriously, I've had 4 bahn mi in 5 days. It looks sketchy by the food is AMAZING. Yes, in capital letters!!!! The food market at the end is baffling, and cool, and smells a little weird but they have every kind of Asian noodle imaginable, all types of snacks and candy. There's an aisle and a half of Ramen! There's cookware and dishes and cooking tools crazy cheap. I was able to get spices and sauces I needed to make recipes from the Chrissy Tiegen Cravings cookbooks. There's a meat and seafood area. In the small produce area they had whole durian, the most amazing varieties of mushrooms I have ever seen, fruits, herbs, gorgeous vegetables. The organization of the store seems haphazard to me but maybe I just don't understand it. The cashiers are SUPER FAST. I stood in a long line on a Saturday afternoon but when it was my turn, the cashier zipped through my full basket of items in, like 30 seconds. It is worth a trip just to get some snacks and candy.

I'm reviewing the market portion of this mall, which is located at the end of this strip mall. The Asian market is very big and offers a large variety of items from different regions of Asia. Philippines, japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thai- are represented in this market through the items they have available. Their seafood market was impressive as they offered several types of seafood: live ones (fish and crab), frozen ones, fresh ones (squid, Cuttle fish, pompano, etc!). They also have cuts of meat that you don't normally find in a regular grocery store. Their produce selection also offers a great variety. I would recommend this place if you're needing to try something different or want to expand your culinary skills and experiment with Asian flavors. They will probably have what you need to elevate your Asian dishes!

II think there are only 4 stores in this mall K&H supermarket This is your typical Asian store. Dirty, disorganized, and questionable, but I can't complain since it is cheaper to buy Asian products here compared to Giant. Even some of their fresh Asian vegetables like bean sprouts and bok choy are cheap! The store is stocked with different kinds of sauces, packages, noodles, frozen won-ton and egg roll wrappers, duck eggs, pots and pans, and frozen meat/fish along with fresh (?) not frozen meat. One thing about this mall that I do like is that they have live fish--not sure about fresh. They don't have that in Lancaster. The main problem that I run into is that I can't see which fish I want because (A) the tank is over crowded or (B) the water is cloudy. I then tell the guys ( who speak very little English) that I want a healthy one that doesn't look like its going to die. They never understand what I am talking about so I shake my head no and put my head to the side with my tongue sticking out (in hopes they knew how to play charades---that I did not want a dead fish that may be in the tank). It works! Some of the fish that I've seen in the tank were bloody and half alive. On the weekends, I noticed that they had duck as well. It made me miss Chinatown in New York! This mall may not be the best Asia market I've ever been to, but its better than some in the area. New Orleans PO Boy (on the left, right in front of K&H facing the mall) good/modern Vietnamese food. I'm addicted to their bahn mi--especially the grilled pork and beef. They have a special buy 5 get 1 free. Price ranges from 4.00 to 5.00 for a bahn mi. The only complaint I have is that they are never consistent. Sometimes the meat is dry, not seasoned well, or the subs are skimpy....the other times its worth the money. You can eat in or take out. Nice big screen tv to watch. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. Kanlaya Thai( All the way down the hall, opposite of K&H, on the left) Thai restaurant with awesome smoothies!! I absolutely love their avocado smoothie. There was a point in time during the summer, where we were ordering their smoothies almost every day. The ingredients are fresh and not out of a box. The price of their food is about the same as anywhere else, maybe a dollar cheaper. I love drunken noodles, but this place didn't wow me with their food. Its not bad, but the flavors are so much better elsewhere, Pho Pasteur- (right across from Kanlaya Thai) I've never eaten here, but I do see that its always busy. The only thing I've ever ordered was their bahn-mi sandwiches. I did not care for their subs. It was fishy tasting and the meat didn't look like what it was supposed to. Other than that, I hear they have really good pho and Vietnamese food!

Fresh jackfruit

Heard about the Asia Mall from my favorite thai restaurant. . Went to check them out and found a shop which sells so many asian goods - mostly from china, korea, vietnam, japan etc. They sell fresh jackfruit! I haven't seen one of those in years..didn't know they are available anywhere in US! They sell Duck eggs - never tried them or seen them in this area anywhere. They also sell live fish. There are few tanks with variety of fish - which had clean water in them and all fish inside looked good. They also sell more variety of fish 'on ice'. There were several patrons in this area, so it is a popular item. You select what you want and then ask them to clean and cut it for you. Last time I saw a place selling live fish was in Austin, Texas at a Mexican store. They also sell Mexican mangoes - different brand, better tasting and bigger size than the ones available in the local Indian store. I'm not sure why the Indian store does not carry this brand. They are only available on Saturdays. Once, I went during middle of the week and was informed to come back on Saturday. I would have given them 5 star rating for the unique stuff they sell. But the store has a strong smell of fish (due to large amounts they sell). This smell can put off certain people who don't like fish.

A tomb for local nostalgia, plagued by ghosts of its dead social relevance, the Colonial Park Mall…read moreis a hollow shell. It is an empty, echoing chamber of dusty vaults that once held great names and popular brands that drew hundreds of shoppers per day. This once proud social hub would be horrifyingly quiet if not for the pop music piped into the empty spaces, the upbeat sounds distorting as they echo off the tile and concrete surfaces, blending the sing-song melody of a angelic spirit into a lost soul fighting its final descent into madness. Yes, the Colonial Park Mall is dead, but remains haunted, one might say possessed by a small community of vendors peddling curious wares and sinister services. And also cell phone stores. You would be forgiven to think the random, lone stranger walking by is the spirit of a former shopper who once used the mall for their daily walk and expired near the old Radio Shack and now doomed to tour its remains for all eternity. The mall is policed by cemetery watchmen, glassy-eyed custodians ready to expel loiterers and those without a shopping agenda. They wander through the ruins left behind by pretzel makers and shoe stores and clothiers and other shoe stores and Hickory Farms and even more shoe stores. And they converge every hour at an empty center court where children once gathered as a wise and cheerful Santa Claus would grant audiences and wishes from 10 to 11 and again from 1 to 3 on Saturdays during the holidays. Gone are the mallrats, their socializing now digital. Gone are the great savings events and sports memorabilia shows and special musical guests. Gone are the anchor stores like Sears and Bon Ton. Only Boscov's survives to give this empty space meaning. The mall itself is a parasite grafted to its flank. Come and peer into the past as thoughts of the post-apoclaypse rise from the vibe. To stand inside this dying space is to know the meaning of loneliness. To step beyond the threshold of the jubilant Shoe Carnival is to be stripped of all joy and hope.

Even though Colonial Park Mall is a dead mall, it's excellent for mall walkers, with PopUp Sales…read morelike the Just Between Friends Kids' PopUp Sale from March 18-21,2026. Not the best selection of stores, but I commend the retail stores here that are still operating.
