The staff was so kind, seating us away from other diners because our littlest one was sleeping in the stroller when we arrived. They were kind to the kids & even provided them with plastic plates & silverware. I have never seen this before in my life. Everyone came by our table to smile and talk to the kids. The food was also DELICIOUS! Huge portions. My husband and I did a special for 2 that included sweet & sour chicken, beef in oyster sauce, Peking duck, and cashew shrimp. Salad and fried rice on the side. I can't tell you which meat was my favorite because each one was better than the next. After we ate, one of the male waiters walked by son over to a dessert fridge and let him pick something out. We also had 2 glasses of port wine - complimentary! - after our meal which was a nice touch.

I started realizing how watered down Toronto Indian food can be. I'm used to my mom cooking some of the best Indian food you will taste. But as she ages it's hard for her to stand in the kitchen, chop onions, ginger, garlic and green chilis before she even starts the frying. I met the owner of this place and she is a delightful older Indian woman, who owns a few buildings side by side on the little strip. She has obviously worked hard for years to be able to provide for herself, family and friends, and in so many ways she reminded me of my mom. My partner and I sat outside on the cobblestone strip as we ate our amazing food and drank a bottle wine for a price that was 1/4 of what we're used to paying. Who new I had to go to Lagos to redefine great Indian Cuisine. Thank you.

The Indian food was so good and full of flavor. We were so full by the time we left. We ordered garlic nan, the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, tandoori lamb, and chicken samosa. Our server was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. He checked on us on several occasions. He also brought us out two bigger bowls of sauce that he noticed we kept using! The Indian food here was one of the best I've tried.
