When we first moved to Hamburg, I suffered typical withdrawals in the form of hanger, flashbacks and weekly FaceTime calls with my mom that included talking about the beauty that is fresh guacamole. But then a silver lining appeared... One rainy, midsummer day, my job hosted a catered lunch from Qrito. With one bite, the sky cleared and rainbows formed in the sky. Mexican food. Cooked really well. Okay okay, theatrics aside... This place is A+. Definitely check it out. My personal recommendation is the carnitas burrito.

Ok, so I have to start by saying I´ve eaten A LOT of poke. In Hamburg and around the world. And the…read moreone I had from ``MY POKE`` was the worst I´ve had to date. There are a whole bunch of toppings to choose from, which is nice but not being able to get extra of something is a bummer. Took quite a while to get here too, bearing in mind that everything is raw, so there is a minus point for that too. Looks can be deceiving and that was definitely the case with the bowl I got. BLAND is what I have to say like nothing at all was seasoned, everything was just thrown in the bowl without any care so that´s a disappointment too, the sushi rice was bland as anything, no salt, no sushi rice seasoning, no nothing. the fish was the same, I ordered for my fish to have teriyaki seasoning on it but there was none of that, just bland fish. All the other toppings were pretty bland too honestly, and I wouldn't order here again. There are way better poke places in Hamburg so choose wisely.
