The place can not be considered a 'spa' by any means but the therapist more than made up for the facility. While it was clean yet unadorned, the location was convenient and they made good use of available space. The attendant spoke little to no English and used her phone as a translation device and even that was a bit bumpy. "Midi o Straw" was what I heard and quickly realized she was asking if I wanted a Medium or Strong massage. I never figured a massage was to tickle so I said "Straw". I am used to Swedish and Deep Tissue massages and this, while different did not dissapoint. I will not go into details but suffice to say that this therapist took her work seriously as she beat out the knots in my back, arms and legs. The 'Asian' approach to massage was different but appreciated. I normally enjoy a little commentary or conversation during a session but here we had mostly silence although I could make out "straw"..."straw" while she was working on some impressive knots in my upper back. I guess she figured I would pass out from the pain but I saw it through to the end, looking forward to the relief when the pain ended. Would I go back? Certainly. Was the price fair? Yes, she worked her ass off. A substantial tip was gladly handed over at the end. Looking forward to next visit.

Six times, I had to tell her to lighten up from this rushed herky-jerky massage. She made me wait to start, took a phone call in the middle and at one point was giving me a one-handed massage as she texted on her phone. All on my dime. I got no extra time to make up for her dalliances. I go to these places for a good massage and never a happy ending, but with the smell of cheap perfume, the uncomfortable table and the pummeling I endured, I was VERY happy it ended. Never again...

I called on a Saturday morning and she told me I could come in right away. I opted for a noon appointment and she had that open as well. I went for a 60 minute massage. Let me tell you, it was far more than a massage. It was body work. She rubbed the knots and tension out of my arms, neck, shoulders, back, and legs. I told her my hamstring was bothering me and she rubbed the knots out of my muscles. I can't say this massage was relaxing and enjoyable. It actually hurt, HOWEVER, I really needed someone to get in there and massage the knots out, which she certainly did. The experience itself is no frills- this is not a typical spa experience if that is what you are used to. But I am a fan because I can tell I'm going to feel so much better once the soreness wears off. And for $60 (plus tip) for one hour of service.. it can't be beat! She accepts cash or debit card and there is a little parking area. I'm glad I found this place- I'll be a repeat visitor.

Although a foot massage of that length involves some additional perks such as massaging your head, neck and calves, you remain clothed with a blanket over you. Our massages started and ended at the same time and our providers worked quietly and efficiently. This type of Asian massage technique can get a bit intense, and there was a point while my calves were being done that I almost asked for less pressure, but at the same time I figured I clearly needed that tension worked out so went with it. If you think your feet are ticklish and you can't have your feet massaged, I would say give it a try because I didn't encounter that issue whatsoever. I walked out feeling incredibly relaxed and I'm very impressed with their skill. I would love to go back for a massage more focused on my biggest problem areas from my neck to my back and think I will do so soon, especially as their prices are incredibly reasonable at about a dollar a minute depending on the service you choose. This place is a hidden gem -- the healing In their name is accurate, but don't be limited by the foot massage part as they offer much more.
