Having made a decision to go on a proper English seaside holiday I was looking around for a nice place near the crashing waves so I could enjoy all the healthy salt infused air ... just like Jane Austen s heroins. Sigh! I decided to go for this cute B&B, as it seemed more modern than most the others in the area and near the beach.
I was pleasantly surprised by it. Coming it seems a bit odd as the lounge has a massive American fridge in it, but the room was very comfortable and seems newly decorated. It was a single, but had a double bed in it and the window was going out to the back. It was also offering complementary lotions and washing gel. I love that. Gives me a feeling of being in a Hotel, not just a B&B.
The owner was very friendly and gave me many tips where to go and what to see. I although was grateful that he didn't mentioned my screaming sunburn after I came back from my long walk on the first day. Believe me ... it was unmissable. The whole stay was really nice and I returned to London much more relaxed, even with the sunburn. read more
