As the partner of an employee who recently worked with this company, I feel compelled to speak up…read moreabout the unacceptable treatment my partner received from Joe Ochs the new owner. My partner is a hardworking minority man who showed up and gave his full effort--working long hours in 98-degree heat to fulfill the job requirements as agreed upon. Not only was he underpaid for the labor he completed, but he was also told that his payment would be delayed until the following week, despite being clearly informed that he would be paid on Friday. That was the agreement, and for a working man with a family to support, that delay and lack of respect is more than just an inconvenience--it's disheartening and unjust. To treat any worker this way--especially someone who honored their end of the deal in extreme conditions--is unprofessional and exploitative. People deserve fair pay for fair work, and no one should be left waiting or wondering if they'll be compensated properly, especially after enduring such conditions. This experience reflects a serious lack of integrity and accountability that no company should tolerate. I sincerely hope that leadership and other partners considering working with this company take a hard look at how workers, especially minority employees, are being treated--because this is not just about money, it's about fairness, dignity, and basic human decency. I am truly disappointed in Kenny's Tree Service.

Upon arriving Ash introduced himself with and then consulted with me on what was on the invoice. He was professional and knowledgeable and made great suggestions. As the morning went on he continued to communicate with me and ask me questions about each tree to make sure I got what I needed with out hurting the trees that they were trimming. I have dealt with many contractors in my past and what really impressed me is they showed up on time, completed the job that I requested in the amount of time quoted and for the price that was quoted. All that said, to get to the important stuff, Efren was responsive, reliable, prompt, reasonable and most importantly did an excellent job. He helped us remove a MASSIVE limb that was broken and dangling on other branches 20 feet in the air, fix up our front yard and remove the assortment of strange plants and reeds without losing any of the ivy we wanted to maintain, and also removal of a couple of stumps and crazy vines and such. When Casey arrived, he said he planned to take both trees completely but at the end of the day, said he couldn't. This left me with a nearly 30 foot tall tree trunk that now has to be removed because it is dead! I don't appreciate that one of the employees used the back yard as his bathroom for taking a dump.
