I was taught early on to always go to the source of the issue. My problem is the insurance company that Ashley's furniture does business with and promotes to its unsuspecting customers. I have been dealing with guardian protection products for almost 3 months now. They are the worst furniture insurance company on the market, as their BBB reviews reflect a bunch of complaints and 1 star reviews. Yet I purchased this insurance as an Ashley's sales rep said it was worth it---it was almost $500. I know many other customers have had similar issues with this insurance company. So I invite others to leave a review on Ashley's Yelp page and Google...since they've left customers to fend for themselves with this predatory insurance company. And in case you want to know what this insurance company does---it uses battle of attrition tactics. For example, it delays answering you via their portal, they send out kind technicians but it's done repeatedly, as they rewrite their reports (my technician who was an honest worker, stated the wine stain on my couch was unremovable---yet GPP rewrote his report as him being successful in cleaning...which is exactly what the technician warned me they would do as he is a third party in all of this). They wear you down in the hopes that you just give up on getting store credit or a replacement furniture piece...which is what their insurance promised. To conclude, Ashley's furniture please stop doing business with an insurance company like this, or at least address the issue with GPP...otherwise you're going to continue to get complaints. read more

"Great online Experience, But Shipping Was a Nightmare" My experience with Ashley Furniture was fantastic when making my purchase--and the process was smooth. However, the shipping experience has been a disaster. I ordered my furniture well in advance of moving into my new home, but the delivery process has been nothing short of frustrating. Please note that Ashley Furniture exclusively uses FedEx for shipping, and unfortunately, FedEx has been incredibly unreliable. Over the past five days, I've been given the runaround about my package's status. Tracking updates alternate between "It will be delivered today" to "We'll contact you with a delivery date," only to hear "We don't know why it hasn't been delivered because it's on the truck." Even Ashley Furniture admitted they are reliant on what FedEx tells them. Apparently, if a package doesn't move for six days, you can file a claim--but why wait that long when it's clear there's an issue? This level of service is unacceptable, and I've read similar complaints from others. If FedEx is consistently failing, why continue to use them as your shipping carrier? This experience has left me incredibly disappointed, and I will not be purchasing from Ashley Furniture--or any company that uses FedEx--again. read more

We have waited 1 1/2 months for our recliner. A sofa ordered at the same time was delivered in a few days, no problems. The called to scheduled delivery day but be we were out of town, so rescheduled. Sorry my husband just took the paper work so he could again return to the store. The in-store personnel has not responded to our inquiries: WHERE THE HECK IS OUR RECLINER??? The storehouse says it WAS delivered. Not so. Repeated calls say they don't know where the chair is. The floor model could be given to us (slightly used of course). but we have to find a truck to haul it. I am disabled and have been sitting in a dilapidated lawn chair which has lead to more lag and back pain. Sorry for typos. read more

Will not uphold their Warranty, or 3 Technician Outcalls that new Lonoke Section is non-repairable due to Manufacture Defect. The cycled me through 6 different Customer Service people paid to exhaust the customer. Then finally offered $200 Rebate while profiting from a $1,191 uneven, in places you hit the wooden frame, others cushions overstuffed, uneven seating cushions,saggy, crocked upholstery/seams factory dud not worth $200 or the shipping. Employees so desperate for a paycheck they lie and prey off Disabled Seniors. A year of back and fourth hoping in good faith the corporation would be honest. NO LUCK. read more

I was promised a couch within 5-6 weeks, now that it is supposed to be delivered I get a call that I must wait an additional month with no furniture that is fully paid for, with no compensation offered. Not even free delivery after making me wait 2 months for an average couch. Thousands of dollars to have to continue to sit on lawn furniture for months. I went to the Tallahassee Ashley home store and purchased a couch and recliner back in November 2023 about a month ago the recliner got stuck and did not want to close. after calling Ashley and waiting about two weeks a guy comes out and says that the recliner frame was bowed out to the right very weird bend, he showed me that part and I was pretty much in shock because that meant it was sold to me in bad shape to start. The part was ordered, but to have the service tech do the job was another two weeks of waiting, as I was moving from my apartment into my new house I was told my service warranty was voided because I moved my furniture from one location to another. AVOID THIS STORE AND TAKE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!! Damaged products, extra fees, and an extreme hassle! We purchased our first/ forever home and wanted to buy decent, long-lasting furniture, from Ashley's. We purchased the Havalance Series king bed, 2 nightstands, and a coffee table which are not cheap. I took off work on December 2 to receive our order. This is where everything went downhill. 1. The delivery driver missed the 10-1 drop off window, never called or updated, and the tracker app provided by Ashley's did not work. The truck arrived at 2:23 pm. 2. They had a dinning server, which we did not order, but was added to our bill at about $800, and bumped our delivery fee from $299 to $349! Again, we did not order this. 3. The delivery folks did not bring screws to complete putting the new bed together. (We had already gotten rid of our old bed.) 4. Ashley's managers were calling our set up folks telling them they needed to leave and head to their next drop off and there was nothing they could do about putting the bed together. They would have to order new screws, have them shipped to our house, and then have to get back on the schedule to have someone put it together. 5. The two men get into an argument on my front porch and left. 6. Ashley's sent someone out to the house to finish setting up the bed. The left bed rail was broken. The slats were put on upside down and not secured. The middle legs were not fastened because the wood slats were on wrong, so they fell off, and the drawer was attached incorrectly. When we called Ashley's, they said they could give us a $20 off coupon on our next purchase! Ashley's, you've got to do better than this! You are the world's largest manufacturer of home furnishing and claim to be "dedicated to keeping the "home" at the forefront of all we do." We spent almost $8,000 in your store and received horrible customer service, broken products, paid $349 for installers to argue at my house and then sent another to do a crap job! My parents would be visiting in 2 1/2 months so it worked out. that was mid march. it is now june and all i have is the mattress. ridiculous that they lie about delivery dates just to get you to purchase. so unprofessional. read more

I was told 4-12 weeks for delivery. It took 25 for my order to be complete! 3 drawers were damaged. They mailed me replacements and arranged for someone to install. One ended up being the wrong color and one was not installed properly. When I received the 2nd replacement, it was the wrong size! I responded to their text about installation and told them to just send someone to pick it up as I was done with Ashley and I'd just make due with the damaged one. I am throughly disappointed in Ashley Furniture Store. I recently purchased my second bed from them (as I am a repeat customer and generally like their products) and was guaranteed a 4-12 week delivery window. It is now Week 13 and I have not received the bed. They have attributed it to just manufacturer delays. My delivery fee was $350. They have not offered me a return on my delivery fee and customer service has been less than friendly. I will no longer buy anything from Ashley's Furniture nor will I recommend anyone else buy anything from them. read more

The staff I've worked with here are very friendly and easy to work with, and the selection is pretty good depending on what it is you're looking for ... which is why it's such a shame that fulfillment is an absolute trainwreck. I've been waiting for two months for a headboard, footboard and rails that has yet to appear, and has been delayed twice. I will be waiting a total of another two months for a loveseat. I can understand some delays given the current state of affairs, but two months is a long time to wait for anything (especially when you're sleeping on a mattress on the floor because you don't have a bed frame). It's not the fault of the staff working in the store, but the fulfillment issues will keep me from spending any more money with them in the future. read more

REGRETS I recently purchased a living room set and a bed with a frame from Ashley furniture HomeStore. I have several regrets. First of all, I regret choosing the sales person that I chose. She made several mistakes with my order and her communication skills were not that great. She convinced me to buy a mattress cover that was guaranteed not to leak through to the mattress. I purchased the mattress cover for the mattress due to my son's incontinence. Well, low and behold! The mattress cover does leak. I called Ashley asking for a refund because the mattress did not perform as advertised. Ashley was hands off, did not want to take responsibility and told me to go through the manufacture of the mattress cover, go figure! This is a lesson learned for me. In addition, they charge a 25% restocking fee. The sales person did not communicate this to me. Very poor customer service. read more

My father-in-law ordered a full bed frame/boxspring/mattress set. The delivery process has been outright ridiculous. They delivered the bed and realized the headboard was defective and a replacement was needed. Since we had another delivery scheduled for the following week, the delivery team said they could bring it then and get the bed assembled with our other furniture. They had been on the phone with their boss so it seemed they had it handled. The next week our other delivery arrived two hours after the delivery window ended, with no headboard. We called the store and they had no record of it being ordered, saying we'd have to talk to the customer service manager, but he was off that day, a Wednesday. When we talked to the manager and he said they would get a replacement out on the following week. The day after that the store calls us to say that they can't get it delivered until the week after it was previously promised, which is three weeks after the initial delivery and over a month after we ordered it. This leaves a disabled 75 year old man sleeping on either a mattress on the floor or a couch for two weeks. I'm just amazed at how unhelpful everyone has been through this process. read more

Ashley Furniture is my go to. I always find what I'm looking for and it's usually at a great price. I was immediately greeted upon entering by Stephanie who listened to my must haves and took me to exactly what I wanted to see. She was so helpful and not pushy at all. That is one of the BIG reasons why I love Ashley's I never feel like someone is forcing me into buying. I saw some gorgeous pieces and have no doubt I'll be back to purchase soon. Literally went to every furniture store in town, Ashley seriously has the most warm and welcoming and friendly sales associates especially Salvatore. They are not pushy, don't follow you through store but seem to materialize when you need them. Salvatore is absolutely awesome and has gone out of his way twice to make sure my daughter a college student got what she needed and he worked very hard to get prices down. Not to mention he is just a wonderful person. They didn't have everything we were looking for but he stated he would keep us in mind and email us if and when what we needed was in stock. My husband and I have been looking for a new couch for a while, but we couldn't find anything that we like that was in our price range. We stopped at Ashely and found a couple that suited our needs and picked one out. The sales lady, Pamela Handy, was very helpful but not pushy. We showed her the diagram of our living room and she did her best to help us find one that fit the room well, offering to measure and compare (while running back and forth between the two couches that we liked). When we picked out a couch and decided to get a rug as well, she spent a long time looking at all the different rugs with us. She was very patient and helpful. Ashely has reasonable prices for decent quality and everyone on the staff that we talked to was very friendly. I would purchase from this store again. read more

I thought Ashley's had a great selection to choose from, their furniture is more expensive than other local stores, but I think the quality is better here as well. After I finally picked out the furniture I wanted on a Monday, I asked when it could be delivered. The sales associate told me they deliver to my area on Thursdays, so I was excited as I was off the current week and didn't want to have to take additional time off. After we started the paperwork, she gave me the delivery date, and it was not this coming Thursday, but the FOLLOWING Thursday. I ended up not purchasing the furniture and going somewhere else. The rating is due to my experience there and going back to purchase the furniture after driving all over town thinking it would be delivered the same week, but having to purchase it elsewhere. read more

Long story short: when purchasing a sofa from Ashley Furniture, the salesperson promised me the decorative pillows came with the couch, but were not delivered with the couch. I went to the store and asked about the pillows and was told that couch did not come with the decorative pillows. I was frustrated that I was not getting something that was promised to me by the salesperson. A couple days later, Carole, the operations manager called me and told me she was sorry for the trouble and that I should not have reap the consequences of the employee's mistake. I ordered a dining room set in August 2020. I received it after the promised date around mid-October. The set was poor quality, uneven staining, staining splotches, not sanded in some areas, chip in table, chairs different heights, and black marks on table top. I paid upfront for the set, did not finance with them. They reordered and the second set arrived end of December, with similar problems, and a chip in the middle of the table. They reordered again and I was told I had to wait for the complete set to exchange out. Chairs showed up couple of months ago but I wasn't allowed to take them, as the table was not in yet. Here it is almost June, 9 1/2 months since I purchased the set and I still do not have a set that isn't defective. They can't even tell me when they will get it in. They sent some furniture repair company to look at the original set and that was a joke. The guy was rude and said they aren't going to do anything about it, those things were normal, the "signature" of the furniture manufacturer. What!? That was a month ago and no one has contacted me to let me know what is going on. Management doesn't seem to care. They have their money. I filed a BBB complaint and management basically said you either like it or bring it back. I like the set, I just want one that doesn't have problems and someone to care about it. read more

ASHLEY WOWED ME AGAIN! After getting our sofa delivered I still had a design space challenge that I couldn't solve by myself so I dropped by Ashley and once again they were all over it to help me. We have a difficult room shape to work with and with their willing attitude and creativity....problem solved! Visited the Tallahassee location last week to look at mattress deals. We were not looking to purchase, but just wanted to look around to get an idea of what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend. This was the first place we went and we ended up buying right then. Josh R. was our sales rep and he did a great job of helping us find what we were looking for. We were about to go through the application process and he even stopped us to show us a less expensive mattress, which we ended up purchasing instead, and saved us about $1000. We wanted to continue looking and possibly come back another day but Josh did such a great job that we didn't want someone else getting the credit for his work. He gave us the best deals he could and made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. read more

Our sofa is barely 2 years old and is shredding on the right arm rest my husband leans on. It has not been mistreated or over used but the quality was poor to begin with and did not last very long at all. We will be looking elsewhere to replace it. I gave my experience with Meredith at Ashley Furniture 5 stars because even though the couch I wanted was 30 days out Meredith was so patient and professional with me. She put a rush on the couch and it arrived several weeks early! I had two deliveries because the chair/ottoman was in stock and the couch was delivered later. Two different delivery crews and both times the guys were professional, courteous, and friendly. I could not have asked for a better experience with a company and its employees. Definitely will be returning for future purchases. The furniture looks great and was reasonably priced too.Meredith listened to my needs/wants for furniture and pointed me to several groups that were exactly my style.She explained my financing options, stain protection warranty (which I took because the furniture is very light) and was specific with the delivery details. We then went to Ashley and found they had a 110% price match, we found an identical suit. We asked our sales agent Shunda Harris if the price match applied to this suit and we were told it did.
