Ok. FIVE STARS ONLY BECAUSE OF CEASAR. I absolutely hate Ashley Furniture. 5 years ago I had the worst experience with them regarding my bedroom furniture. But I did order out of the Joliet store. I got a $500 credit if I never called for any kind of repair to be done. And that was for 5 years. So my fiance and I decided to get a storage trunk and two bar stools using that $500 credit. Went back to Joliet and had a terrible experience there. The sales rep for the name was Omar. I recommend everyone to avoid that place. So we decided to try the Orland Park store. I was determined to use that $500 credit. We met Caesar and unlike Omar, he gave us his number and I was actually able to talk to him where Omar gave us his number and never returned or even answer his phone. People if you do decide to go Ashley Furniture, only deal with Caesar. It was Flawless and I did not have any problems. And it's hard for me to say that because I absolutely hate Ashley Furniture. read more

If I could leave no star, I would, but unfortunately, I cannot. I bought a bed and dresser from Ashley Furniture in Orland Park on May 30th, and it was supposed to be delivered on 9/8 (today), but I got an email on 9/2 saying I would receive a partial order. I emailed customer care and asked for more detail on which item was on backorder and how long I would have to wait. I got a response on Saturday, 9/5, while I was driving to the store to talk to a manager face-to-face. The email did not contain an apology or any sympathy. When I got to the store, my mother and I spoke to the manager (cannot recall his name), and we were told they would try to get the part from St. Louis and give us a call on Monday--never received that call. This is my last time dealing with Ashley Furniture; I will never give them another dime. Months later, and still no bed. This is ridiculous!! read more

I purchased a furniture warranty through Ashley Furniture, with ProtectAll as the warranty administrator. The warranty was presented as offering meaningful protection, but in real use it did not deliver. When I attempted to use the warranty, the coverage proved to be extremely limited and resulted in no meaningful resolution. The process involved poor communication and denials that made the protection effectively useless. The warranty did not function as it was represented at the time of sale. Although Ashley Furniture sold the warranty and ProtectAll administers it, the overall experience reflects a lack of transparency and good-faith service. A warranty should provide real coverage when needed, not technical barriers that prevent any real benefit. Based on my experience, this warranty offers little value for its cost. I am sharing this review so other consumers can make an informed decision before purchasing this warranty through Ashley Furniture, or even buying furniture from them. read more

Ordered a rug in May....Oct...still no rug or communication...called and was told they thought I was picking it up.....that happened twice.....I told them I'm disabled and can't pick it up...thats why I was told it would be delivered...from May to October nothing but crickets...customer service seems to be nonexistent. As soon as I walked into the store, I noticed the most comfortable couch and couldn't resist sitting on it! Joe, who works there, came over and had a friendly chat with my partner and me. Ashley Store - Big chair I fell in love with! - Furniture Stores Near Me - Orland Park, Illinois

The customer service here is an incredible nightmare. I read another persons review and everything she experienced and more is what I experienced. My husband and I ordered a bedroom set and couch. First, the delivery date changed, twice. Then, the delivery driver barely tried to get it in then damaged the couch. We didn't notice the damage until the delivery report. Trying to get a customer service rep was horrible. When I asked for the corporates number, I was given, (844) 244-5300, crime stoppers. I was hung up on 3 times as well as my husband. Everybody's experience is different. Maybe try ordering 1 item at a time. I know they sales reps get commission but due to the customer service we cancelled the couch. I would have cancelled the bedroom set but I had been sleeping on my mattress on the floor for a week preparing for the delivery. This review just scratches the surface. Only thing that would make me happy is a discount on my bedroom set and or a refund of the delivery charge. I don't know if this matters or not but they are in-dependably owned. Would I recommend someone to this location, NO. I would suggest doing research to make sure they are a corporate store. read more

I purchased a table and 4 chairs, not knowing the table was a 36" high top. When I tried to call and return and repurchase another set I was given the run around and told to call a different number. 9 different numbers in all! Finally the last one said only the store can handle that. The store said differently, so now I am stuck with a high top table that I can't sit at. read more

We actually had a great experience here, the sales people both Sarah and I believe her name was Morgan, we're great to work with. The sales manager was also nice. They do want you to finance through them, but you obviously don't have to. Our items were delivered exactly when they said they would be and the delivery team did a good job setting things up and being careful with things in our home. Overall, quite happy with the purchase, the sales team, and communication along the way. read more

The furniture is terrible. I don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to bet it was made in sweatshops in China. I purchased a sleeper sofa that came with a 5 inch memory foam mattress. The mattress started breaking down after three weeks. And below where your tailbone is, there's a support bar that goes across and you can't sleep on it. You wake up and your tailbone is terribly sore. And then I bought a farmhouse table with two chairs. The chairs were falling apart. I had to take them apart put some glue and re-screw them. I do not recommend Ashley for anything. Oh one more thing I was wiping the table off cleaning it per their instructions and part of the finish came off. I contacted them numerous times. Customer service is terrible. I sent the pictures that they required and everything stay away from Ashley. read more

We will NEVER buy from Ashley again and i recommend no one else does either. We bought a mattress a few weeks ago on a Saturday from the Ashley store in Burbank, IL The Mattress the following Tuesday which was pretty good delivery. We put the mattress cover and sheets on the bed then when we went to bed we noticed the mattress had a horrific ordor. Of course we called Ashley and because of their no refund policy we were offered the same mattress or choose a different one because we had a credit in the system We did go to the Orland Park Ashley location where everyone was very nice and sympathized with our situtation and picked out a different mattress. The new matress cost more and the manager did give us 10% off which was very nice. Now comes the frustrating part. When we bought the mattress at Orland they said it would be a Tuesday Delivery. We did make it known it would have to be morning because we have appointments in the afternoon. Well low and behold we got our delivery date and time of Wednesday 02/21 at the worst possible time between 2 and 5 pm. I worked with Ashley corporate and even a Director at Ashley to see if we can change the date/time but it was a big waste of time. I was basically told they have no control over the times because of routing. My issue is we were already inconvenienced once cant they just throw our delivery on a truck as first delivery and move on with their route. Seems the delivery company they use doesnt want to cooperate either. So much for customer service!@ read more

Oh how I wish I read the reviews before going to Ashley instead of Darvin. NEVER AGAIN. This entire experience was painful from start to finish. When we came into Darvin we met our sales person who although nice, was very spacey and not at all organized or able to focus. We placed an order for a simple 3 pc couch. A love seat, armless chair, and chaise. We told her we wanted a LAF love seat and RAF chaise. She writes up the order and it shows a LAF Love seat and LAF chaise. I tell her about the typo and she says, " OH I'm so sorry, I forgot my glasses today and must have typed it in wrong. I'll fix it and email you the corrected receipt." I knew better, and I should have made her fix it right then and there. Then I get an email. Now its a RAF Loveseat and a RAF Chaise. At this point I'm curious how this is real life. I called the help desk, said they fixed it which shocker, they did not. So now I call the store and speak with a manager. Some woman who did not identify herself. I said what the issue was and she said (And I swear on anything good and Holy), "Hold on let me find your salesman and have her confirm so when it gets delivered to your house and you say its wrong when we ordered it right, there's no confusion." I said, excuse me what did you just say to me??? she responds with putting me on hold. Now I'm talking to my space cadet again and she is trying to reason with me that a LAF chaise is actually a RAF chaise and its ordered correctly. I continuously am trying to train this girl on how to do her own job and she texts me a picture of my exact couch, with the exact set up I originally ordered, the exact way I wrote it. I called her back and told her she literally sent me the correct picture of my couch and it says RAF chaise. She says "Oh.... I'll fix it." Then I hear the POS manager in the background say, "Wait she ordered it righ...." Click. Yeah doll. I did. Then the delivery, this was the absolute best. Hector and his wrecking crew show up, park their delivery truck ON MY DRIVEWAY soooo not okay and use one of my pumpkins as a door stop. Given the fact that I had so many issues with the ordering process, I ask Hector if its a right arm chaise, he says, " I dunno" with an attitude and walks right passed me into my house. Now I'm fuming. The wrecking crew proceed to essentially throw my couch pcs upside down on the floor, and start drilling away at the feet of the couch. Literally ALL of them are crooked. I said something and they totally ignored me. Ashley owes me money for training their floor team, sanity, composure, and whatever structural damage they caused to my f****** driveway. Complete garbage operation. read more

I know I heavily rely on reviews to make purchasing decisions, so I hope my experience helps you. On google, you'll see 900+ reviews, as well as on their site. They offer shoppers discounts (10% or so) just to leave them 5 stars to offset the true reviews. (Speculating off what I've heard/seen) In May I had gone in and chosen a couch I really liked. All the pieces were in stock and in the store (amazing.) However I was redoing my place and needed to wait on delivery, which the manager (Joe?) assured me would be NO problem, that they could hold it and it would be shipped out at a time that would accommodate me (2-3 weeks). I paid $3,500+ and felt great leaving! Fast forward to today, almost 4 months later and still no couch, no nothing. As it turns out, there was a problem with my order and it got delayed. When I finally got down to the bottom of it, an associate from this store told me that the manager thought there would be another set of my furniture delivered in time and SOLD the furniture I had on hold for delivery. I get it, sales. But now 2/4 of the items are DISCONTINUED. The manager became so absolutely rude saying its not his problem, blah blah. Like a mean, stubby chihuahua. Completely talked down to me, raised his voice and acted in such a way where HIS EMPLOYEES came up to me and apologized to me once he left the sales floor. Not only that, but then miraculously, someone over the phone decided its not discontinued. Nope. Only took 3 months for them to get it together and speak to the warehouse to realize they were wrong. Before that though, they confirmed twice about my delivery, even this morning, only to have the warehouse call 15 minutes prior to tell me it's canceled. Literally, buy your furniture ANYWHERE else. You're going to get lied to over and over. read more

What a run around unorganized shit show store this is. We order furniture, get a delivery date and the day before AFTER we donate our furniture we find out its not being delivered the day we were told. The manager didn't apologize or try to make things right. He tells us about a third party delivery service and wants us to pay for it. Otherwise it wouldn't be delivered for another week. My experience with the Orland Park Ashley Home Furniture store was not a pleasant experience. The delivery experience was HORRIBLE. One piece of furniture (couch) was damaged upon delivery and had to be returned. It has taken weeks for the couch to be delivered and the delivery process has been awful. I received multiple texts and e-mails with delivery dates/times only to be contacted the day before and told, the product was not in stock and the delivery would be delayed. Had I known Ashley's lack of customer service, professionalism and follow through, I would have purchased furniture from another company. Calls to customer service are on hold for 20+ minutes, when a representative answers, they are ill prepared to resolve an issue and does not have a solution. It's ridiculous. Perhaps it's time for someone to look into a class action suit against Ashley Furniture and Ashley Home Stores ( which are independently owned franchise outfits, by the way). Same saga as everyone else. Ordered and paid for furniture in August. Understanding there are supply chain issues, we requested honesty up front. Salesman David padded the expected delivery date by 6 weeks and wrote late November/early December on the receipt for the dining table and six chairs. Time passes. Crickets. Get on line at Ashley Furniture to check order status, and it says there is no such order number. Huh? Call the store, it automatically rolls into customer service call center (you can't reach the store by phone). Informed it would be another 8 weeks or so. Maybe. Go into the store and ask for David. We are told he doesn't work there (turns out, he's at a different store). We look at the dining table...still being offered for sale, even though they have none to sell. Decide we can wait until January and hang into there. January 28th, I get a text to call delivery number to set up delivery. Hooray! I call, and a message says there is no record of my order being available to deliver for 6-8 weeks. What? Connecting through to customer service, I get the distinct pleasure of trying to understand a gentleman who barely speaks English, on a line with so much static and drop out I ask him if he's on an old bag phone somewhere. After much struggle, he confirms yes, table and dining chairs are in and will be delivered 2/2 and they will call 48 hours ahead to provide time window. No call. I call customer service on the 1st, and speak to Vicky. She says oops, it's supposed to be the 5th and yes, table and chairs are in, order to be delivered in full, will call 48 hours in advance. Yesterday, I get a call that my phone says is from a high risk phone number from Malawi (yes, the country). The call is blocked. There's a voice mail left from Ashley Furniture asking me to call back to arrange delivery. I call, and the voice message again says there is no record of a delivery order for me in the next 6-8 upcoming weeks. Press through to customer service again, am told delivery is set for the 8th...and those c to set your delivery date? They are SUGGESTIONS of possible dates they might deliver and are not real at all until the 48 hour in advance call actually sets your time. How do people arrange a schedule around this nonsense and? And OH there's no dining table, just dining chairs in stock, so they'll bring those. Again, the connection is horrible and the person is very hard to understand. I ask to escalate to management and am told that takes 15-20 minutes of waiting on hold. I hang up and try David on his cell number, hoping he has some way to help even though he's not there anymore. That's when I find out he's just at another location. He promises to reach out to JB or DeShawn to contact me ASAP to see what's up with my order, and they'd call me later that day. No call, so I text David. He says they'll call me that evening. No call so I text David this morning. He says I'll hear from them within an hour. How many guesses that I'm still waiting to hear? Ashley Furniture takes money from customers for items it knows it doesn't have and cannot get or make. It takes our money, and earns interest on it for long after their promised and estimated delivery dates. It does not update status with customers. It deliberately makes checking on status difficult to impossible. It employs customer service representatives that at best are clueless and at worst, are trained to fib. And it will attempt, I'm certain, to try to charge their 10% restocking fee for cancelled orders, which is absurd: how can you charge to restock items not in stock to begin with? They have our funds in their back (and those funds of the rest of the country's unhappy customers), and have been able to use those funds to earn interest, pay their bills, show profits. If anything, they owe US, all of their customers, refunds and interest for monies held over time. So yeah. Class action suit sounds like a winner. read more

Avoid ordering anything from Ashley Furniture. That is the advice I give. Unless you want to take the gamble that everything will go 100% smoothly with your purchase & delivery and you won't need to speak to anyone about anything, because their customer service is absolutely horrible to deal with. We ordered a table from Ashley Furniture. The table arrived broken. They sent us a replacement table. They told us FedEx would not pick up our old, broken table, and we had to donate it to a non-profit. Okay, no problem. The very next day, FedEx showed up at our door to pick up our return... Because this was unbeknownst to us, we didn't have the 145lb table properly taped to give it to them. Had we known they were coming we would've been prepared. I get on the phone with their "customer service" representatives. They tell us FedEx will actually come and pick up our return. Oh, okay. So FedEx shows up again. Asks us if we have a return label. Nope. I get on the phone with their "customer service" representatives again. Back and forth. I must've been on the phone with them 10 separate times. They tell us FedEx is supposed to provide the return label. FedEx is telling us Ashley is supposed to send it to us. Ashley Furniture tells me they will email me the return label. They never did. Another "customer service" representative tells again to just donate it. The three donation centers in my area either tell me they aren't accepting furniture at this time, or they aren't doing residential pick ups. Nice. So now we're stuck with a broken table. Around the same time, we had also ordered a couch. We received a phone call from someone at Ashley Furniture asking us if 11/25 is an okay delivery date. We agreed. 11/25 comes and we receive a text message that our delivery driver has arrived. There is no driver in sight. Minutes later, we receive a confirmation text, and a confirmation email that our couch has been delivered. There is even a squiggly mark as my signature stating "I have received my package." AND, a picture that the driver took of his dirty dashboard in his vehicle as confirmation our couch has been delivered. Upon speaking to another genius service representative, they cannot explain to us why we have received all the confirmation our couch has been delivered, all they can tell us is our delivery date is 12/9. First time we have ever heard of the 12/9 date. I doubt the couch will be here 12/9. I'll even include the exact picture the delivery driver provided for us in our confirmation email. After this huge stressful hassle I will never order anything from Ashley Furniture again. Save yourself the headache! read more

Ashley furniture is the biggest disappointment we ever had to deal with lately. I highly recommend to anyone, save yourself energy and shop anywhere else! Customer service at Ashley is awful, and if you ll need to deal with theme, your issue will most likely be never resolved. People ll point fingers at each other, then at different departments, at call centers they r not even in USA. Our retail nightmare started in January 27 2023 and still continues til today without any solution and solid response, being in the middle of May. We went to the store in January, purchased sofa, paid full price right at that moment and left the store waiting for delivery. Went back to the store around March 15 while not hearing anything from the store. We were told that our purchased sofa was discontinued but noone ever called or informed us, of course noone ever refunded our money. After asking for refund, they tried all ways possible to not proceed with our refund. Later that week being stuck with no sofa in a new house we decided to choose other item from the same store. After delivery, we have issues with the chosen product being very poor quality but even worst having a skin rush every single time, my skin touches the fabric.I tried to sit on the sofa couple times until we were sure that's the cause. We made multiple trips to Orland store seeking for help, refund, exchange, or anything they could help us with in this situation We end up talking maybe to 4 different people at the store and in the end, end up talking to manager Joe, who told us that Ashley furniture corporate/management took all the responsibilities from theme at the store to resolve issues with customers handing us paper with number for GUEST RESPONSE TEAM. Don't even waste your energy and times to talk to theme. Those people are call centers outside of United States. No one really cares and no one is responsible to solve the problem. We talked with 5 different people so far from that team the past two weeks. They always give us ticket number they issued and tell us we ll receive call back in 24-48 hours. NEVER HAPPENED!! Not even once. When we call back they ll inform us that the ticket was canceled or closed. HOW WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW what's the solution is. We are in hopeless circle and I wish every single day that we never step a foot in this store in a first place. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE EVER DEALT WITH IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Unacceptable! read more

1/30 On Saturday I decided to call the customer service. During the call I learned that my loveseat and my couch will arrive at different times with the first delivery estimate on 4/27. Please remember, I ordered the set just after Thanksgiving with the first estimated delivery mid January '21. To give you a taste of how Ashley's operates here are the highlights of what I learned about Ashley's operations during the call: - Ashley's doesn't make ANY outbound calls to customers -EVER - except when the delivery is coming up. If your delivery is pushed back (independently how much or how many times) Ashley's doesn't have a system to follow up or let you know. In other words, to hell with your plans. If your delivery call doesn't come within 48h of the provided estimate, this should be a sign to you that it changed. It is on you to follow up with the customer service to figure out your next ESTIMATED delivery date. - That is correct - any delivery date provided is an ESTIMATE. The rep couldn't guarantee that my set will actually be delivered on the date she gave me during the call. I do not think that that the reps are trying to be dishonest. There must be something fundamentaly wrong in their inventory/distribution chain. The provided delivery dates are completely off, and there seems to be no limit in how many times these can change. - I asked the rep, if per Ashley's procedures the delivery date could be postponed indefinitely. I asked this because every date provided is subject to change and it looks like there is no final cut off date by which Ashley's must deliver. The rep did not want to answer this question, and said that the only date she can give me is the one she can see in the system. I really hope there is a limit set internally somewhere... my empty TV room counts on it. - To figure out the cut off, I asked if there is any contract outlining the final possible delivery date, I requested copy of my contract (if I had any). The rep couldn't provide it. In order to receive a copy of the contract (if signed), you will have to go to the store you ordered in. The customer service either can't pull it up, or is told not to. All this is really wrong. If I knew that a multibilion company with a store in every suburb, will behave like a Chinese website, I wouldn't have bothered. I don't have much choice here though. Apparently, even though Ashley's doesn't have a limit on how long it takes, the only choices you are left with are: to wait patiently or pay a 10% fee for canceling your order. I choose to wait impatiently and will continue my updates. On the bright side, the escalation department finally responded to my inquiry with "we're working on it." Apparently, the delivery date quoted in the last email as "ASAP" was also just an estimate. read more

I purchased a four piece modular couch and two of the pieces were damaged either before they were delivered or while they were being brought into my home. I tried calling my salesperson and he ignored over a dozen attempts to reach him. I had to drive back to the store and find him to report the issues. This guy treated me like I was the scum of the earth and told me that it wasn't his problem to deal with and that I had to call the warranty division. It took over an hour to get someone on the phone and they told me that the parts would be sent out for the repairs. Since it is Ashley's policy to never replace anything, It took a month for the repair tech to come out to my house to fix the issue. They didn't bring replacement modular pieces, they sent replacement fabric and tore the couch apart and put new fabric on In my home. The tech that arrived did not appear to know what he was doing. He brought a blanket with him, which I assumed he was going to rest the pieces on as he worked on them, but instead the blanket stayed balled up in a corner while he flipped the pieces onto my hardwood floor, which caused more damage to other parts of the fabric on the Modular Pieces. When he was done, he left a pile of garbage in my living room, as well as roughly 2 dozen staples strewn across the hardwood floor that my dogs could've easily ingested which would've caused untold internal injuries for them. When I called Ashley warranty claim division and expressed my displeasure with my experience, they hung up on me and never called back. I had to sit on hold again after calling back, spent a total of 2 hours on the phone with them, and ultimately got nowhere with the next person I spoke to. They claim they were so busy that they couldn't help me, so now I am waiting for a call back that is supposed to take place on Monday, but I'm not going to hold my breath. This company and their customer support are absolutely horrible. I am completely regretful that I spent $3500 with them. I'm just glad that I didn't spend more. I don't ever want these people back in my house ever again, and I will never ever buy anything from them ever again. Steer clear of this place. You will be happy that you did. This is an update to my previous bad review. Turns out its a support issue and not the cushions. The support in this sofa is basically a tarp!!! It's stapled in to the bottom of the sofa. I can't believe this! There is no support for someone sitting on this sofa other than that. No wood or springs or anything for support other than a tarp type thingy! I've been going back and forth about this for too long!! I'm going to go the Better Business Bureau next to see what I can do since this is an INDEPENDANTLY OWNED STORE. If I knew the name of the owner, I'd be putting them on blast! This sofa/chaise set wasn't cheap. It's was over $1600... I'm still paying for it and it's going to fall apart again I'm sure!!! I looked at a couch here on Saturday, January 21st, on sale from $5999 to $2700. There was some discrepancy on pricing because the sign said $2700 but financing said $85/month for 5 years. I went home to think about it and noticed online it said temporarily out of stock. I went back in the next day and was told they would sort out of the financing and the protection plan would be about $500. I asked about it being out of stock and they said it would be a 3-5 month wait. The manager got involved regarding the financing issue and turns out, you can't finance the sale price. I said that would be fine and I would just pay for the couch instead of finance it. They do the paperwork and the protection plan went up to $1000. They told me they forgot the protection plan is based off the cost of the couch, not the sale price. I agreed to it and paid $4300 for the couch, plan, and delivery. I was told prior to leaving all but one piece of the couch was actually in the warehouse so they can deliver it Friday and then the other piece would come at a later date, but they would call within a few days to update me on it. They said I would get a call Thursday for my delivery time for the in stock items. I arranged my work to be home and got rid of the couch I had. On Thursday evening, I realized I never heard from anyone regarding the back ordered piece or my delivery time. I called their automated system and it said I had no pending delivery and disconnected. I called back and it said I had no order and disconnected. I called again and selected the option to speak to a service rep, who eventually found my order and told me the entire thing was on back order. I requested to have the matter escalated and never received a call back. I texted my sales rep what was happening and said I would be in the next day to discuss, and I would like to cancel the protection plan and have delivery waived, as I would now be without a couch in the time it would take for it to show up. I was not asking them to honor the protection plan, I no longer wanted it. I got to the store and the couch had a new sign for $3100. The manager told me they could give me the floor model, with no protection plan and would refund the delivery cost but I had to pay a third party to deliver it. He said they are selling it for $3100 but he would give it to me for the $2700 that I had already paid for a new couch. I asked how long it would be to wait for the couch to come back in stock and it was only then they told me it was discontinued. I declined the offer and requested my card be refunded. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they would think offering me a used floor model in place of a brand new couch for the same amount would be an agreeable resolution to this. I also do not understand why I had no updates along the way and only found out the couch was discontinued because I reached out to find out the status of my delivery. I am now without a couch but at least I have my money back. I will no longer be looking at Ashley for any future furniture as I would be concerned about them not being able to fulfill my order. read more

We were promised someone will take a look at the bar stool chairs and see if they need to be replaced and never came. They never came five times. we were promised and scheduled 5 times and they never showed up. A family member just fell and this is now a safety issue. Thank God it was not a family member who are in their 80's who fell from sitting on it. It could have been a different story!!!! 0/0 read more

Ashley Store - Furniture Stores Near Me - Orland Park, Illinois

Came back to edit this review and point out one thing, don't be naive as the only good reviews for this scam are from the day they buy from here. They say shopping at the Orland Ashley home store is like buying a boat, the best two days are the day you purchase from here and the day you cancel. Everything else in between is the daily equivalent what happened to Chris Rock after making a joke about Will Smiths wife at the Oscars. I wish I could give less stars, this has got to be THE WORST customer service ever. All I'm saying is if you order a couch or any furniture from here, be prepared to be lied to on the phone by someone from India whose just trying to get you off the phone, deliveries will be late, you will never be able to speak to anyone in the store, I promise you that no matter how many times you attempt to figure out why the hell your order is SIX MONTHS late, you will be 100% ignored. I've sent so many emails, you have to get up and get into the store and even they they make false promises and assurances just to get you to leave. This store absolutely sucks, I am a Darvin customer for the rest of my life and I am also the newest hardcore member of team "do not use Ashley home store" to anyone I meet. What a sad excuse for a company what terrible terrible customer service and what a SCAM! I cannot say this enough, from the bottom of my heart if you walk into an Ashley home furniture store, RUN OUT OF THERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN YOU ARE MAKING A MISTAKE! read more

Ordered a couch in store and was given a date it would be delivered. Was told to expect a call to conform my delivery window 48 prior. When I didn't get my call 48 hours before, I called them to figure it out. They said my order hadn't even been processed yet and that it would not be delivered as promised. I scheduled and planned my entire week around this day to be sure I would be home for delivery, and was relying on it being there as I was going to have company over soon after. I called the number I was given and was disconnected every single time I tried to get connected to someone. I also tried to go to the website they gave me on my confirmation email, and that doesn't work. When I finally got through to talk to someone at the Orland Park store, they were unhelpful and did nothing to ease my mind about this scam of a purchase and delivery. Would absolutely NOT recommend this store. read more

Unfortunately I am not going to raise your review rating with this. If it wasn't for the stellar sales man Peter who of course is doing his job for his commission you would get zero stars. Recently moved into a larger home and needed a lot new furniture to fill the home. Purchased kitchen table and chairs, a buffet, a complete bedroom set and a complete living room set. Getting you to sign the dotted line is not your problem. Customer service and follow up after the sale is where you fail miserably. Delivery #1- living room set and kitchen set and buffet all delivered along with part of the bedroom set. The bed we knew would come at a later date but we were never notified about the nightstands being delayed. Called the store several times to be on hold 20 Minutes 4 separate times.. finally I went to the store in person and the lame game begun amongst the staff. One of the couches was damaged and delivery driver pointed it out. No big deal exchange it and setup replacement to come. delivery-#2- replacement couch comes painless in and out . Still no update on my bed and nightsnds delivery #3- this is where it gets comical. All remaining items for bed set and nigh stands were supposed to be delivered. What did I get I got half of the bed delivered not enough for them to assemble it like they were supposed to. Now my garage gets to be their warehouse storing the items until the rest of it gets delivered. Great job selling me on furniture but absolutely horrible job at making your paying customer feel happy about it. read more

This is what was sold to me. This is the complete order that they said would work. Why would I purchase a sectional where the recliners can't be used simultaneously? Ordered in JUNE - order delayed multiple times - received it mid November. Customer Service tells me to call store, store tells me to call Customer Service. Called store was left on hold 45 min before I gave up. read more

If I could leave less I would. The sales person and process was extremely frustrating and lacking any sort of "service". When the request was made for a manager no response was returned. read more

I was finally supposed to receive the base for my bed today however when they took it out of the box it was broken. One month later and I still have no bed to sleep in. Please take my advice and never ever order anything from this store! **Update** Another week has passed. They finally came to deliver the base again today. This time they tell me that THE STORE SOLD ME THE WRONG BASE and this one is not compatible with my bed. Now I have to go to the store and change my order. If I could give negative stars for this company I would. ***Update*** Another week has passed. It's now week 5. The delivery guy called to tell me he was on his way with the bed, then he called back 2 minutes later to confirm what he was supposed to deliver and of course it was wrong. 5 weeks, 7 delivery attempts...still no bed. This is the worst company on the face of the planet ***Update***Yet another week has passed and another wrong delivery. I guess I'll just have my family that's coming in to town for thanksgiving tonight sleep on the floor. The worst part is this store does not care AT ALL that they have messed up this delivery six times. read more
