I wish I could put zero stars after my experience with this company cause that's exactly the level of customer service that they have for their clients.... ZERO! Where to even start!!! So I went in looking for a dining room table back in November. The one I liked wasn't available in store cause it was just online so they had to order it in to the warehouse, which was totally fine I also ordered a entry table as well along with all the dining chairs so with spending around 2,000 dollars with them you would think my end all experience should be a happy one... but nope! Think again! It was the worst experience I've ever had... EVER!! So my table arrived and I picked it up just a little after thanksgiving which was perfect cause the entire reason for even purchasing the table was so that my family would have a dining table for Christmas dinner at my home. After putting all the chairs together I then went to open the table and it was cracked. Super disappointed I called customer service and let them know about the crack. They asked for photos which I happily sent.. was told someone would call me back and never received a call.... I then waited over the weekend and called again on Monday, was on hold for about an hour... for the lady to come back and say that it's something that couldn't be fixed "OBVIOUSLY!" She then said she could exchange the table but I would have to take that table back and go pick up the new one. (Are you kidding me??? This was your fault and you aren't willing to take care of it by just picking up this broken table you gave me and bring me the new one?) I was so frustrated I just said. I'll pick up the table but you guys need to come get this one. She made the exchange and said that they would give me a call when the new table arrived at the warehouse. I said, "that's great but will it be here by Christmas cause that's the whole reason I purchased this table!?" She said it would get here the 26th.... that's just great so had you called me back the Friday you were suppose to it would probably be here... super frustrated I expressed this with her... she then said she would send a $50 gift card to me for ashley in the mail for my troubles... I said okay whatever (in my head what the hell is a 50 dollar gift card gonna do for me buy a damn lampshade so stupid).... take in mind I never received that gift card but that's besides the point, this gets even better on the level of extremely shitty customer service! So December 26 comes and goes... my family had to do Christmas dinner with no table I had to rent a foldable one. It's now the beginning of January and I have still yet to receive a call that my table arrived at the warehouse... all the while having this huge box in the middle of my hallway for a month. I finally call around the 15th of January and ask if they have got my table yet... I was transferred to about 3 people before the last lady called the warehouse and said it was there and I could pick it up. So I then find someone to help me go pick up the table. I get there and the girl couldn't find it in the system. I told her the story and she then says well do you have this other table with you? I said no it's a 300lb table that you guys need to come get.... she said no I can't give you this table without the other. I'm beyond frustrated at this point I tell her this and also let her know I know it's not her fault per say but that this company in general is the worst service I have ever delt with in my entire life and everyone I had expressed this to agreed with me. She said that she didn't have authorization to make a delivery happen and or pick up and that I would have to get on the phone with customer care again and that they would probably charge me 150 dollars... "umm what!?? for picking up a table THEY gave me BROKEN!!!" What!?? So irritated the friend with me at the time was just like Katie lets just see if we can find a way to load other table... he found a way to load it and we then went back the lady was less then desirable very rude. So we back the truck up so they can unload this table and load my table. The guy who was there to load and unload the furniture looks at me and goes "I'll probably need you to help me unload this one and load the other one." Ummmmm, what!?? I cracked up laughing... are you kidding me!!? Haaa what furniture store have you ever been to that tells you that you'll need to help them load and unload the furniture into your truck at their warehouse!!? Haaa so wait do I now get to sue them for the lower back pain from unloading furniture for them? Isn't that their job!??? The guy friend I brought to help me helped this guy load and unload my table and made a comment that they needed more workers..... uhhh CLEARLY And obviously some classes on what customer service is! read more

We made sure to order furniture two months in advance so its arrival would coincide with our move in date. Our original date from our online order was Jan 16, we called to choose a day after our closing date, Jan 27th, our closing date was moved to January 29th so we called a few days after to arrange the drop off for the 29th, and then they said bc of their delivery schedule they wouldn't have movers available till 5 weeks later on March 2nd. I called to see what could be done to have it delivered earlier, like keeping the original date and changing the drop off address. After calling and messaging them, basically they said that they can't locate our furniture in the warehouse, so even thought they blamed the delay on the delivery service, its actually because they no longer have out furniture available for us to have. Most likely they sold it to a different customer after they switched our delivery date, without our confirmation I might add. This company is shady and doesn't actually care about honesty or good customer service. If you decide to purchase from them, order 4 months in advance of when you actually need it because otherwise you'll be waiting much longer than what they tell you. We had a very positive experience at Ashley. My husband and I were just looking and getting ideas for our new home, which won't be finished until April. Carlos Salgado, a design team member, greeted us when we walked in, asked if we were looking for anything specific, and then let us browse at our leisure. When we wanted details on some pieces, he was very helpful. After looking at furniture, Carlos introduced us to Joseph Hart in the sleep center. He spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions, even when we told him we wouldn't be buying that day. Purchased a new bed from here on 4-30-17. Bed was delivered on 5-11-17, as we were told it would be. They didn't put all of the items on, allergy cover and mattress pad, as we were told they would by the sales staff. Not that big of a deal, but then when we went to put these items on, we discovered the mattress was the wrong size. It seems the delivery people may have noticed it was wrong and just high tailed it out before we discovered the problem. I call into the store and speak with a gentleman that says he will look into this and get back to me. He calls me back in an hour or so, says it is their fault and that they have started return process, and that I should hear something in 2-3 days as to the resolution. It seemed add it would take 2-3 days, but it was apparent he would be of no more help. Call my salesman on 5-12-17 to discuss what has happened. He is aware and assures me they have been working on it all day and I should have a resolution and call back by the end of the day. No one calls. 5-13 and 5-14, no one calls. On 5-15-17 I again call the store, my salesman is out so a random person speaks with me. They assure me its being worked on but they still have no resolution and I will be getting a call back the next day, No call the next day. I send an email to customer service logging my complaint. I receive an email back on 5-16-17, stating I should be contacted within 24 hours. I receive a call on 5-17-17, but again they have no resolution because the CEO is out of town and has to sign off on this. I ask to speak with the Store Manager, I am put in touch with the "manager" who re-iterates they are working on it but nothing can be done until the CEO is back and signs off. He has no idea when this will happen, nor can he tell me what the time frame is after the CEO signs off. At this point I figure out this is the Sales Manager, not Store Manager. I again ask to speak with the Store Manager. He is also out of town, I leave a message for him to contact me. At this point, I log a complaint with Ashley corporate stating my frustration in not having a resolution. I receive a voicemail from the Store Manager on 5-18-17 around 8:00pm. He has called my office number somehow, and apparently didn't check my file as my cell is listed there. I receive a phone call from Ashley delivery on 5-19-17 stating that the correct bed will be delivered on 5-27-17. Finally a resolution and we decided to just let it go and deal with it. I receive anther phone call on 5-23 or 24, from Ashley saying that the bed wasn't delivered to their warehouse, so they can't deliver on 5-27 and I will get another phone call with a new delivery date. I receive another phone call from Ashley stating the bed will now be delivered on 6-1-17. On 5-31-17 I get a phone call from Ashley to inform me the delivery people are not in my area on Thursdays and the bed will now be delivered on 6-2-17. The correct bed was actually delivered on 6-2-17, 33 days after I purchased it. I am baffled that it would take this long to correct a problem they created and after numerous phone calls to them, that the issue was not escalated and resolved. read more

Caution: Very pushy salesman. When we first walked in the door we had a nice experience when a salesman greeted us, introduced himself and let us know that if we had any questions we can go to him. It went downhill after that once we showed interest in an item. My questions on individual item pricing was never answered. When I asked if items could be sold separately from a set (we just want a loveseat) he then said no and took us to a separate area pushing sale items. I asked my question again and he informed me they could be sold separately. We then proceeded to walk away back to the area we were actually interested in and from there we were literally stalked. Very uncomfortable. We left with none of our questions on the item we wanted answered and a very unpleasant impression of the store. They push the financing and sales hard to play number games. If you are a cash buyer like us, dont expect to get any price information unless you pull up the website and get the info you need. read more

Went in to the store to buy a new dinette set. The salesman was very helpful and checked the online price which beat the current sale price by a large margin. While doing the transaction the store manager was walking the store and thanks us for our purchase. Wow great service and a killer price, what else can you ask for. read more

We received great customer service in store from our sales woman, then it all went bad. Our very large purchase was to arrive in 4-6 weeks, this happened in pieces-we did not receive even half of our order. We were told the remaining pieces would be delivered approximately three weeks later. When the time came we did not receive a call or our furniture. When I called I was told there was no delivery scheduled and one of our pieces was still on back order. The delivery was then promised the following month, again we got a few more pieces but now going on 6 months after the order was placed we are still waiting for the remaining furniture to be delivered. We asked that the remaining order be canceled and refunded and then received an additional piece that should have been refunded as a delivery. Not only can this company not deliver on time, they can not figure out when their product will be available l, or cancel and refund the order when requested. It seems no one communicates so there is no realistic delivery date for their merchandise. read more

This is the only store probably in the world in my lifetime that I would gladly, willingly, even call-into-work seriously fucking boycott. They promise furniture to arrive to you at a certain time, then it is most likely weeks to MONTHS to get to you. In fact, the only time I ever ordered from this atrocious place was for a sofa that was promised on a specific date a month or so after purchase. BUT the day of promise I checked in with them and they said it just mysteriously "didn't show up on their truck order". This happened EVERY WEEK for about 5 weeks. I ended up moving out of the valley for school but I still gave them a chance because I needed this sofa for my new place. They promised me a new date and I drove my ass the 3 hours back, rented a uhaul, showed up at their pick up... and alas. NO FUCKING COUCH. I had finally had enough and asked for a refund. They tried to talk me out of it saying they've already placed the order BLAH BLAH. Didn't care. Don't care. It took a month for the refund to show up back in my bank account. Disgusted.... It started when we walked in and were totally ignored by 6 different staff members. We were ready to buy right then, with cash, and knew exactly what we wanted! After trying to get help for about 15 minutes, an older couple walked in & were very promptly greeted. We still were being blatantly ignored. Went to a manager to complain and get some assistance.... two hours and $2000 later, we left nothing but an ESTIMATED delivery date two weeks out. That was about a week ago. After the 3 hours passed I hadn't heard anything. I gave them a call to find out the truck broke down and no one called to inform me. I placed an order online which was not even a pleasant experience. I should have taken that as a clue, but I proceeded anyways. The order said it would arrive in May 6th. I made arrangements to be home for the delivery, at 2 pm on the 6th I spent 45 minutes on hold and never got through, spent another 45 minutes with the online chat which takes 15 minutes for one reply. I was assured it would arrive by end of day. Guess what, never showed up. The next day I get an email "confirming " a scheduled delivery of May 29th. They had no intention of Delivering as agreed when purchased otherwise deliveries would not be 3 weeks later. No one wants to wait a month. They have no respect for people, their work, or time. I would cancel but see people have a hard time getting refunds. I can not wait to get my product and block their stupid emails that are sent multiple times a day. Otto's help was excellent. He did a great job at answering our questions and had abundant patience with the process of us changing our minds and a screaming toddler in tow. Ashley's pricing was a little questionable because online prices vary so much from the in-store prices and the financing allows for little discount. If you have the cash, you can save 25% based on their holiday offers, which for us would have made almost 1k difference. That hurt a little. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Just moved to Idaho and bought a couch and chair in the store. I was told that if I signed up for financing, I could save an additional 15%! I was spending a lot of money, so of course I signed up......only to find out once I got home that I could get SUBSTANTIAL savings online and FREE delivery. They charged me $140 for delivery in the store. I called the store and ended up being credited back nearly $400!!! Fast forward, it's been two weeks and still no furniture. Last week they came to deliver it and the couch looked like someone shoved a screwdriver through it. I was told they would be here today but wasn't given a time. I called this morning, after taking time off of work mind you, and was told now that it would be Saturday. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Trust me. read more

My wife and I decided to buy higher quality furniture this go around. So we went to Ashley, and was directed to "their highest quality" sofas. They looked really good, so we actually bought 2 of the exact same models. The manager (since moved to Chicago) convinced us to buy the protection plan, since these pieces would last such a long time. Paid almost $4k before walking out the door. Delivery cost me an extra $250 and I live only 4 miles away. Other furniture stores deliver for free. Delivery delayed for 2 weeks. After 6 months, we started having issues with cushions losing support on one of the couches. Called in Dec 19 to have the couch examined for possible problems. Was told I'd be called back in 3-5 business days. Never called back. Re-contacted Ashley in January. Technician was sent over. He noted that both couches were in pristine condition, but when he sat down on the couch in question, he quickly noted that the support system was lacking and very different from the other couch. 2 days later, we got the call that there was nothing wrong and that the lack of support was due to normal wear and tear. We've had "cheaper" couches from several furniture stores around this area and they always last for 5-6 years with no issues. I told Ashley that we'd only had these 2 couches for 6 months and we would like somebody else to re-evaluate. Same Technician sent to our house 2 days later. We talked to him about his first eval and he again repeated that he could definitely tell a big difference between the 2 couches and would include this in his report. 3 days later, Ashley called us to again tell us that there is nothing wrong with the couch. We are really upset by this! Paid so much and got so little in return for the false "high Quality" rating and overly inflated price. Customer service issues rampant all thru the entire process. I seldom write reviews on anything, but felt really compelled to do so in this case. I wouldn't buy from Ashley ever again. So glad our experience with them is over, but feel really ripped off to have gotten stuck with this furniture. If you're even considering buying from Ashley Furniture, save yourself some headaches and hassle; just take your business elsewhere. We had a great experience! After visiting Willey Furniture up the street and feeling like we were being stocked by employees it was nice to not be followed around while we took our time sitting on couches trying to find the perfect one. We don't like being harassed​ and constantly bothered when we are shopping. Say hello and let us know you are there to help and then leave us alone...that's exactly what Ashley Furniture did. Our salesman stayed close enough to be there when we were ready and answered questions, etc. He was not pushy and let us take our time and feel comfortable. I even made a point to thank the manager for training the employees not to harass the customers. My only complaint would be that we had to wait two weeks for delivery...when you don't have anything to sit on for two weeks it kind of sucks. Service was great otherwise! read more

I am completely disgusted with the Meridian, Idaho store. We went in and purchased two bedroom sets and a living room set. It took over a month to deliver the products, and when they did, some of the furniture was missing. They promised to deliver the rest of the items at a later date. When that date came, they left a nightstand at the warehouse, and we ended up picking it up. Additionally, we purchased the majority of the items on their credit, and the one night stand we purchased ourselves, two days later. I happened to look at the Ashley online catalog and saw that by purchasing in the store, we paid SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE for our items than they were listed at in the catalog. I called customer service (corporate) and they said that the stores were individually owned and could set their own prices, but would often price match the catalog if asked. Well, I asked, and the store rep said no, they couldn't do that, because I used their credit to buy the furniture (even the one I paid for myself!). When I finally got an account statement, the amounts listed and dates did not match the purchases I made, and they claimed I financed the nightstand that I paid for. None of the amounts matched, the dates of purchase were wrong, but somehow, the final amount owed matched what I purchased. I fear I may be a victim of identity theft. I will NEVER buy from this store again and do not recommend it to anyone. If you want Ashley furniture, look online. It will take less time to deliver and you will save hundreds of dollars. read more

Where do I start. I bought a sofa bed from them in January when I recurved I noticed the mattress was short I called so a tech could come check and he agreed it was short and would have someone call to resolve the matter. Never got a call. So I called Ashley back and they said he had put in the notes that it wasn't short and the matter had been resolved. I was so upset because nothing had been fixed. You pay all this money and you want what you paid for. They sent him back out and he agreed again it was too short. A couple days later I get a call from Ashley saying the mattress will be replaced. Great news!! A month goes by and I never get a call saying it has arrived and it will be delivered or nothing. I call Ashley once again and they look into it. Come to find out it has been sitting in the warehouse no one called and told me and it's not being delivered I have to take other mattress to them and pick new one up. Long story short I get the new mattress and it is the exact same size as the other one!!!!!! I'm so over this store and their customer service!!! read more

Probably one of the worst shopping experiences of my life. Some very sweet young lady salesperson met me at the door and whispered to me that she had to Shadow me around the store if she did not her boss would assign someone else to do it I smiled and said fine as I proceeded to wander through the store looking and thinking about what items I wanted to purchase every time I turned around this lady trying her best to do her job and be helpful was right there I felt like I just walked onto the car lot of a used car dealership I totally feels that the customer service sales person was doing exactly what was asked of her however I think their management needs to have his young 20-something year-old inexperienced novice head examined because nobody likes to be stopped while they're shopping it's not like I was going to stick a bit under my shirt it was unnerving it was uncomfortable and I will not be back if they have something I want I will shop online but I will not walk back in the store where I'm going to be stocked like a shoplifter it was an annoying degrading unnerving experience and it showed the extreme lack of training education on sales procedure by the young inexperienced novice manager who should be out bagging groceries at Walmart. read more

I purchased a complete bedroom set, mattress and sofa about two months ago at Ashley. After we picked out what we wanted it took over 2 hours to get us checked out. They had just opened so we were patient and didn't complain at all. We found out once we received our statements that they open up two lines of credit, one in my name and one in my husbands and my name. Again that was an easy phone call to close the line. The part in this experience that has me fuming is how long it has taken to get all of our furniture. Two months later we have still not received our bed frame. The first time arrived one of the bed posts was completely cracked through. We had to call to even get it rescheduled and it has since been canceled twice. The reason we were given was it wasn't scheduled properly by the supervisor who placed the order to begin with. I have spent my entire day off today waiting for this frame and it is now 5:30 and it is still " on its way". I actually love the furniture otherwise it would be returned by now. I will never recommend this business. - it has been 11 days since I responded to the message below and have not heard anything from the company. read more

He assured me I'd receive my furniture on a specific date. When it wasn't delivered on that date, I learned that was his day off. The delivery was made 1 week and 3 days after the purchase. It took them 13 minutes to answer the phone.-Ridiculous! The woman who answered is just an answering service. She put me on hold while she called the local store. Very disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. The salesman was over the top, trying very hard to make a sale with us. We did end up purchasing a sectional as well as a accent chair (against my better judgement). When the items arrived the sectional was set up the opposite way that I ordered it and the accent chair was too big for my living room (which I had thought but the salesman assured us that it would be easy to return or reselect other furniture if it was too big). I called the store to let them know what happened with the delivery, they let me know that they wouldn't be able to deliever the other furniture until they closed out the sale I already had opened, since it was the week of Thanksgiving it wouldn't be for a couple days. They offered me an additional 5% off of my purchase price which was about $300 off for the inconvience.They also let me know if I wanted to reselect furniture in return of the accent chair then I would need to bring in the chair to return within 14 days or I would be stuck with the chair. I went that Saturday (barely able to fit the chair into my car) to have them tell me that I was not able to return the chair to the store. I was able to talk with the store manager, Jeremy, who was wonderful. He remained calm as I was explaining to him about why I was frustrated, that my living room was a total mess because I had the wrong furniture plus now they were telling me that I had to take back the chair that did not fit in my car in the first place all the way back home, due to an employee's miscommunication. Jeremy let me return the chair as well as found a solution for my chair, where I did not have to take it all the way back home. He was absolutely wonderful. We ended up purchasing endtables in exchange for the accent chair. Before I left I made sure that I was given a balance on my account because there was a lot of discounts given as well as returns and repurchases. I received my first statement in the mail for the full amount of what I originally purchased the furniture for. Confused I called the store, which a rep let me know that the adjustments would not be made until my second delievery had been made with my correct furniture. I went on to make a payment on my account to see that my account balance had only been credited 103 dollars (the difference between the accent chair and the two end tables). There is not a credit to my account to reflect the 5% discount that was given as an inconvience. Called the store to hopefully talk with Jeremy about the amount that was given to me as my account balance and the amount that is showing on my account, of course he is unavailable. Becky, the office manager let me know that she would do some research to figure out the difference between my account and what I was told. When I received the phone call back of course the balance that I see on my account is correct. As far as I am concerned the whole process with Ashley has been a complete nightmare, every step of the way has been completely stressful. I feel as though it has been a bait and switch. After buying it, never expected to have to wait 2 weeks to receive it. The store does not care, and then the represented told me it was only a request. How are you still in business?? I purchased a loveseat and matching chair February 4, 2016 which were delivered as promised. Two weeks after the delivery the loveseat started sagging, sagging to the point where the inner springs completely collapsed. Ashley sent out their repairman that on two occasions was unable to repair the sagging springs. Each time he attempted to repair the loveseat I had him sit the loveseat to see if it was as a new loveseat should be. It wasn't per the repairman. Please note that it took the repairman 3 weeks to come to my house the first time and 2 weeks the second time. It was now 5 weeks after my first complain. I called their service department and complained about the loveseat, again, I was told hat it would be replaced. A new loveseat was delivered a few weeks later and upon delivered and setup the deliverymen asked me to test the loveseat to see if it met my expectations. Instead of testing it myself i asked the delivery driver to test it himself. He did and realized that it too sagged as if it were a 10 year old loveseat. The replacement loveseat was refused and returned. Once again I called Ashley and after speaking to a curt customer service employee i demanded to speak with a supervisor. After much discussion the supervisor told me to come to the store and pick out a new loveseat. I asked if they were going to replace the matching chair as well I was told to find something that matched since they would not replace the matching chair. At that time I asked how the store would know about this replacement and the supervisor told me that notes would be made in my file so the store would be aware. I went to the store and was told they knew nothing about replacing the loveseat. I asked for the manager in charge and was introduced to a man named Joe. I told Joe the story and asked him to check the notes in the computer. He ignored my request. After some discussion he told me that it was simply a matter of my "perception" that the loveseat was defective. I then reiterated that part where Ashley's employees agreed that the couch was defective, but he once again sideslipped my comment/question. I finally got angry and told him i was willing to place the defective loveseat in front of the store with a big sign indicating i had a lemon and Ashley refused to do anything about it. At that point he relented and told me they would replace both items. I picked out the new loveseat and chair and wa given a delivery date for both items. On the delivery date I called to see the time window for delivery. I was told that the item was out of stock and would be delivered 3 weeks later. Went in to buy a mattress and sales person was a district manager named Zane. Worst experience i have ever had!!! he would interrupt you every time you spoke. He would only show us 2 mattresses and when we asked to see others he said they were junk! Finally paid cash for a mattress we liked- and set a delivery date. date came and gone and no mattress- they said it was back ordered- so i requested to cancel the order and we were going to buy from Mattress Firm in nampa- FYI great people at mattress firm not pushy. Ashley said we dont give refunds after 48 hrs. I said we haven't received the mattress and its pushed back on time, they told me it doesnt matter. I Talked to Store Manager Jeremy- and he was very rude and short with me. My experience here was terrible and I recommend not going here as they are a slimy business. read more

We went in Feb 23rd and purchased a sectional couch, super exciting right!! Well we bought it and the salesmen had us set our delivery day so we were told it will be here March 3rd from 12:30-3:30, so super excited took the day off got rid of our old furniture to get ready for this sectional, waiting around all day today March 3rd and it's 3pm getting worried that it might not be coming today, so I call to make sure it was coming or to see what happened and th gentlemen told me it has been delayed,wtf, I'm super upset for taking the time off work, didn't receive any call or email letting me know it has been delayed to next week, so super aggravated now!! I have no furniture because I thought we were getting our new furniture!! Excuse me I have one chair I kept , but they offered a refund for $100,at first it was $65 that was offered to me then they used it to $100, I bought my furniture full price $790 and he only offering me $100 back and still will make me wait? so if I could deliver it myself will I get my sectional now or still have to wait? I was recently at a reputable furniture store in San Diego, Living Spaces, when I saw the couch exact same couch I had bought at Ashley Furniture in Meridian. At first I was excited because I got to show my mom what I had bought (she lives in San Diego) but then I was literally shocked and so disappointed. The price listed was $795! I had bought the same exact couch at Ashley for $1,106 and that was on sale. It would have been 1,349 otherwise. So with my sale price I paid over 300 dollars more for the same couch. And if you walked in on a non sale day at ashley you would be paying $550 more! So with a stomach ache I texted my husband, boy were we bummed. But I thought, hey, maybe they would honor a price guarantee that they claim to have. And yes, I was outside of the 30 window, but I thought they might have some grace because this is such an extreme price difference. They might realize why I feel like they literally ripped me off! I understand slight price discrepancies but this just seemed wrong. Well I went in and spoke with a manager. He had nothing to say except that I was out of the "window" they provide. While I know rules are rules, I have also worked in retail and always tried my best to see where the customer is coming from and do what I can to build back their trust. Unfortunately today that did not happen. I would stick with some of the other furniture stores in the valley, lest you go on vacation and find out you paid hundreds of dollars more than people are in a more expensive city at that. Not impressed! We have been in to this store twice, and both times we made the mistake of going on days that they were doing giveaways. We were never greeted and had to seek out a salesperson to help us. So irritating when you are there to actually spend money and the only people that are getting customer service are the free loaders there to collect their $100 gift cards and buy the cheapest thing in the store with it. Each time we've been there the checkout process is ridiculous and extremely unorganized. They charge an arm and a leg for delivery, when we are used to paying a flat fee of $57 for the whole year at RC Willey. This morning I received a voicemail from one of the salesman accusing us of stealing the mattress cover that we purchased yesterday!! I was so angry that I called and spoke to the store manager. Apparently the guy who called us had mixed up some paperwork but the entire situation was very unprofessional. The store manager basically just said "sorry," but didn't offer anything to us to smooth it over. I expected something nice since we are actual paying customers, but apparently they only give stuff away to their non paying "customers." We will NOT be returning in the future. I'm giving them 1 star only because you can't give them 0 Stars. We purchased a Leather Sectionals , a Dinning Room Table and the Supposed to be top of the line Mattress a total of $18000 . 1st the salesman was more interested in my girlfriend than being professional and doing his job. We made it easy since we had already met a very nice sales lady and picked out the Sectional and the Table a couple days prior to her Quiting. So all he had to do is the paperwork and collect the money. Then comes the Mattress. We met with Joe and his White Doctors Coat. They call themselves the Bed Doctors. We eventually agreed to purchase the Cadillac of their Mattresses ( The Black Beauty Rest by Serta ) it was very soft and comfortable and with the vibrating feature we decided it would be a good choice and help with the pain I have everyday. Even the Bed Doctor said how great the mattress would be for those who suffer from Arthritis or body pain. Because of the cost we were told that if the mattress wasn't what we were told that it could be returned. We took delivery and the very first night we could tell that the mattress was not anything near the level of comfort as the one in the store. I called to let Joe know it was his day off and the person in the Mattress dept informed me that we couldn't do anything till we had slept on the mattress for 30 days.I then called Joe on Monday and informed him that the mattress was not what we ordered. He had to talk to his manager to give us any answers. Several days latter after no response we went to the store and spoke to the manager of the day. Got nowhere. After several more phone calls and 2 trips finally they arranged for a mattress technician to come over and test the mattress. I personally met with him as well as the Bed Doctor Joe and both of them standing right in front of me and they agreed that the bed was not correct. Now over 1 month from the sale we've gotten nowhere. It has been absolutely the poorest service with no concern for the customer. A complete runaround and now the manger tells us they can't take a used mattress back. Well you certainly can take back what you delivered since it's not correct and your company as drug this out over a month. Now it's time to make a payment and of course it's not their fault and if the payment is not made our credit will suffer as well legal action could be taken. Maybe Ashley Furniture would let their finance company repo the mattress. We have been more than fair and been poorly treated and with total lack of concern for the headache that they have created for us.. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company. And if Ashley Furniture wants to make it right come get your mattress we do not want to do business with you. The lack of concern and disregard on Ashley Furnitures behalf has made it necessary to go to the Better Buisness Bureau and whatever else we have to do to get this resolved read more
