I put a claim in end of August of 2024. Broken piece of my sectional. I called October, November, December, January. Unusable couch with warranty, kept getting it's coming. Finally worked with the manager Jaime who was very friendly and said , it's not coming because they no longer make that color, so, we get a Reselect for $6500 to replace. We shopped and found a new set we liked, and before we ordered, a huge box arrives to fix broken couch piece. Zero communication. 8 months with unusable couch. Lied about re-select. After spending over $7000 in this store in the last 3 years, the manager refused to honor the online advertised price for two measly mattresses because they weren't making money on them. Stores are franchised. If you find something you like here be sure to check the website. The price will likely be much lower. read more

My whole experience has been a nightmare. My bed was ordered incorrectly, so it kept me on the floor an extra two weeks. My couch was delivered broken. They've been to my place 2 different times to try to fix their wrongs, which I've had to call off work for. The last time the guy showed up just to tell me "what we thought was wrong with the couch isn't what's actually wrong, so I have to order the part and then you will have to schedule me back out" and left. I've called the store asking to speak to a manager, only to be told they were not there and that the message would get passed on; it didn't. I've called customer care left a message; never received a call back. I would highly recommend taking your money elsewhere if you're looking for furniture and decent customer service. read more

Customer service is horrendous! I received a couch, an expensive one, had to pay extra so they'd bring it in, not leave it on the porch! The delivery company stayed 9 minutes total. The LEGS OF THE COUCH were not attached! Not only that, there are NO PRE-DRILLED holes TO attach them. They were allowed an hour for delivery, according to my contract I signed, yet didn't attach the legs. The man even stated, "There's no way she can get these on herself". I called Ashley Furniture and was told they'd get right back with me to solve this. That was 4 days ago. I've called, no one acts like they know what to do. So, I received a couch, that's still on its back, no legs, and zero concern by Ashley Furniture. Never again. read more

My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture near the Huntington Mall on July 21 to help my 91 year old mother purchase a lift chair. She found one she liked, but there were none in stock but our salesperson Terri Kunze, said there were 4 due in the last week of August and she would put my mom's name on one. My mother paid for the chair and we left. On August 26, I called Terri and she said delivery had been pushed back 2 weeks and the chair should be in on Sep. 10. She said she would speak with her manager to see what could be done for my mother to make up for the delay. I waited a couple of days to hear from her, she never called, so I call her again. I told her she had said she would call me after she spoke with her manager, but that I hadn't heard from here. She starts telling this story about she had a friend staying with her who had fallen and hurt herself and that she had just been over-whelmed trying to care for her friend. etc. She put me on hold and a few minutes later came back and said they could offer my mom free delivery or give her a 100.00 gift card. She told me that the chair would not delivered on the day it came in because the warehouse does all the scheduling for deliveries, so we decided to take the gift card. She promised she would call me the day after Labor Day as she gets a report on Tuesdays that tells them when shipments are arriving and she would keep me up-dated. On Sept. 10, my husband was in the area where their warehouse is and stopped by to see what he could find out. We had not heard from Terri. The man at the warehouse checked and said the chair would be in on Saturday, that he had looked on the manifest and it was on there. On Saturday, Sept. 12, we called the warehouse, the chair was in, and we went to pick it up to deliver it to my Mother. On the way, I called Terri and told her we had picked up the chair, even tho she hadn't, again, bothered to call us to let us know it was in. She said she had called the warehouse and they had told her we had been there to pick it up. I tried to explain to her that we were not impressed with the customer service we rec'd,, that twice she had promised to call me,and hadn't. She said she had called the warehouse and found out we had already been there to pick it up, so there was basically no reason for her to call us. I told her she was missing the point, that the first time she didn't call, we would not have even known the chair was going to be delayed 2 weeks, had I not called her. Then she didn't call to let us know it was in, and that she had assured me she would call me! She said she didn't remember telling me that!!! I called back and asked to speak with the manager! I was on hold for over 10 minutes when the operators came back on and said he was with someone and could he call me back? I asked her why it took almost 11 minutes for her to find that out! As we were going right by the exit where the store is, we decided to stop and go in to speak with the manager. We met with Nathan Boggess, and my husband explained everything that had transpired since the day we bought the chair. He apologized & tried to assure us this was not the way she should have handled it, that she should have called us, and that he would be speaking with her. Terri could not have been any nicer the day we were there and bought the chair. But it proves what I've heard all my life, that after the sale is made, there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I placed my order for a sectional 1 decorative chair, two twin size beds and 2 dressers to match. The lady who helped me assured that my items would be in around 4 weeks, but most likely before that. This was back in February and I still don't have all of my times. I got some of the things I ordered only because I kept calling.it cane in on 4/8. I called today to see if they were coming soon, and the person who answered the phone today said not until May 1rst. read more

We went there to purchase a bedroom outfit for each of two rooms. The sales associate, Scott Grimm, was very helpful and attentive to our needs. As for the mattresses, he engaged us in a scientific process that determines the mattress that is best suited for us based upon weight and sleeping position. The computer program recommended a particular type of mattress. We tried the suggested mattress as well as others. We concluded that the suggested mattress was the correct fit. Scott spent about 3 hours with us and showed enthusiasm throughout the process for helping us with our needs. It was a good experience. We will be returning to select living room furniture. read more

worse communication ever, furniture is always on back order, cancelled delivery due to a broke item, will not return phone calls, once you step thru the front door you are special but once you sign your name you no longer matter to them, once sale is final they accomplished their goal. The worst furniture store in the tri-state area. We bought furniture over a month ago, and have only received 1/2 of it. We have been in contact with everyone, and only received the run around. "Its on the truck" ...no delivery. "Oh its on back order", "no its at the wear house" it will be there Saturday... No show. Now its our responsibility to contact the delivery department. HORRIBLE service at this store. Was told at the time of purchase that I would be contacted within 7 days with info about delivery. I had to call myself and was told the couch would be in in 3 days and they would call. They didn't. I called on the 4th day and was able to schedule delivery. Was told on delivery day the driver would call to schedule a time. The day before delivery an automated call came in telling me the time they would be there, which did not work because no one would be home. When I called to see about changing the time, the representative at the store was rude from the time she picked up the phone. She told me they couldn't change it because a computer assigns the time of delivery. ??? Does anyone know what's going on at this store or do they just tell people things to appease them. Also, if I'm giving you my business and paying for the delivery as well, I should at least be able to chose a time that is convenient for it to be delivered. Poor business and horrible service. I ordered a piece of furniture in from the Lexington, KY store to be delivered to a family member there and they were able to tell me the day and time it would be delivered at the moment of purchase, which was 3 days later, not weeks. read more

In-store service was great. We were not treated like a typical customer. But, in the store, we were told some furniture was in stock and that part of it could be delivered the following Tuesday (per saleslady)in about 3, 4 days. We said great. Then, once we left the store, we were told it would be delivered the following Friday. After much discussion, we did receive a mattress on Tuesday, as promised with the rest of the furniture to come the following Friday. Then the date was changed to the next Tuesday. We got the manager involved as, after much discussion, she called my wife and said it would be locked in for Wednesday. My wife was assured of this. But, alas, it was not to be. We got our furniture on Friday instead. Promise after promise was broken. Assurances mean nothing apparently. When the guys finally delivered the furniture, it was raining. They tried to carry it in the rain until I said something. Then, they covered up the pieces to get it inside the apartment. Then, they were one piece short on the inventory list. Thankfully it was on the truck but not on the list. In fairness, they did give us a $200 gift card for our "troubles" signed by both the saleslady and manager). That was nice. We will use the card but not at that particular store. We had bought other furniture from them, in Charleston WV and St. Petersburg FL without incidence. But, this particular store, well, the after-the-sale was lousy and the customer service was lousy. We were treated like we were special people when they were taking our money but afterwards, well, the one star I gave them was generous. read more
