Our in-store experience was good, but delivery was a mess. We ordered two chairs and a sofa, which were delivered with damage. The sofa had a hole in the corner. The two chairs appeared to be slid against something, leaving large stripes in the leather. We also ordered a bed and mattress; the bed was delivered without the slats and adjustable feet. My family and I visited the Platteville, WI, Ashley furniture store yesterday. After about ten minutes of walking around by ourselves, an older gentleman walked past us and said he would be with us shortly, but never came back to our area of the store. Instead, he ignored us. A young lady, who was remarkably unprofessionally dressed in a skimpy shirt and baggy pants that looked as if she slept in them, finally asked us if we needed help, and I asked about the online couches I viewed on their website. and she immediately and rudely dismissed my inquiry, stating they did not have those items. She said we could look around the store, and when we found items that we were interested in that were a "manager special," she stated the items were not available and needed to be ordered. I told her I had cash and did not want to finance, and she stated it didn't matter. I asked my family member while she was checking their stock online via computer if there were other furniture stores in the area (I relocated from another state and I am new to the area) and she was eavesdropping in the conversation and then blurted out, "No, there aren't any other furniture stores in town! Just them." This young lady was very discourteous, and we did not have a good experience on our first visit to this store. I refuse to purchase from an extremely rude sales team, and I took my business elsewhere. Mind you, this store was not busy at all! The store was completely devoid of potential buyers when we arrived to view the furniture. So, I don't feel they needed to ignore us or be so ill-mannered that we invaded their afternoon with our presence when we just had sensible questions. I would not recommend, and I will not be returning to this store due to the dismissive tone and complete lack of customer service. I would also like to point out that two of my family members are disabled, and there was a complete absence of professionalism by this team to assist us in any way. RUDE STAFF. I would feel very comfortable going into this store to find the right mattress. They have all the best brands for the latest technology in mattresses like Tempurpedic, Stearns and Foster, Sealy Posturepedic, and even power base options. You can tell the entire staff really takes finding a good night sleep serious and they are passionate about making sure you're happy. You can't beat the selection anywhere in Platteville and with the freebies like delivery and 0% interest financing it's hassle free. read more

OMG! I had thought I wanted a nice piece of furniture, so I figured I would go to a real furniture store. I was not happy with my purchase at all. The sales clerk put in the wrong item number so it did not come up at the price I was quoted, luckily I caught it. And then she was charging me for delivery and I told her I would pick it up. She offered me the protection package, after I agreed to $39.99, she then changed it to $59.99 probably because she put in the wrong item at a higher price. I should have walked away right then. When I picked it up, it was UNASSEMBLED??????? Nobody told me I was shopping at Ikea or Wal-mart. Then when I opened the box I found out it was veneer over plywood. I guess that is a step up from particle board. I guess I was expecting way too much for the high price I paid. And I don't even want to start on the damaged parts I found. This place is awful. We ordered a bed from them. 1st off, the charged us and then 2 weeks later said they needed to charge us again because they forgot to put the payment in which messed up our finances and they did nothing to mend the situation for us. Then when we received the bed the footboard was broken, so they said they would replace it 2 weeks later and after the two weeks they called and said the replacement was broken as well and that it would be another two weeks until we could get a new one. The people at the store were constantly rude and did absolutely nothing to help us except saying "it's not our fault". I will never purchase anything from there again and highly discourage others to give them business. read more

People tend to only write when they have had a bad experience and rarely write when they had a good. My husband and I went in to look at the temperpedic adjustable beds that is were we meet Alicia Hooven. She was so helpful and informative and helped us find the perfect bed for our needs. Management was also very wonderful because they helped her sell us the bed by offering us incentives they made it hard for us to leave and not get the mattress. Also Ashley has so of the best financing deals. We got no interest until 2020. So long story short I am extremely pleased with my purchase as well as my experience. read more

I bought a whole bed set I saw on floor model. The sales associates told me I don't need the box spring. They delivered without slats. Without the box spring...how can I put the mattress on? Then they says they have to charge me for the slats. Talking about delivery. They have the weird system. They called and told me they don't have the bed set items a day before the schedule delivery date. No communication between the delivery team members. Bed was deliver a week late. No one acted like they are sorry or showing that they realize they don't deliver good customer service. It's like delay in delivery, not having the item a day before schedule delivery date, deliver missing items are their norms. Dealing with Ashley store drama will not give you that satisfy, exciting feelings of purchasing new furniture. You decide! read more

The people that work here are friendly and do not pressure you to buy something. They have a good selection of furniture, and everything seems to have a great discounted price. We bought our couch, bedroom set, and dining room table here, and they are all good quality. read more
