She was extremely patient, knowledgeable, well connected and proactive during my entire buying, decision making, negotiation, and closing process especially for a first time buyer navigating the fast moving LA housing market. Despite my busy schedule, Jenny was super organized, proactive and flexible and took off a lot of the burden of the administrative and scheduling tasks of my plate and always took the time to review every document, ensure we are not missing any anything from the seller sides and truly acted as an advocate for my needs and wants. She took care to explain, educate and clarify every little and big question and concerns I had. She was incredibly well connected and it was pretty clear everyone she worked with (broker, other agents, vendors, contracts) trusted her expertise and welcomed working with her. She is transparent and won't push you to do something you don't feel comfortable doing unlike many other agents I've come across in the LA area. Especially if you are a first time buyer, I wholeheartedly recommend working with her and Compass. I look forward to working with her in the future for my next investment!

Due to our schedule we wanted to shoot the pictures in the morning. Jen was super accommodating and made sure the lighting in the photos was perfect (which is not easy to do on a sunny beach morning)! Our toddler has a mind of her own, but Jen had no issues getting her attention and even getting her to smile in our family photos. Communication was great and so was the turnaround time in getting the finished photos back to us. A half hour shoot was very affordable, especially considering the quality and number of photos we received. We highly recommend Jen- she's amazing! We are looking forward to doing more family photos with her later this year and are so happy we found her.

The house eventually sold, but I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The biggest issue was communication. The last proceeds estimate we discussed was dramatically higher than what I actually received. After asking for updated numbers, I was told they'd be checked and sent to me. They never were. When I later asked what happened, I was told I should have read the paperwork more carefully. Looking back, I should have double-checked everything myself, but after months of working together I expected major financial changes to be clearly communicated like she did when the financial returns looked good. I would not use Jennifer again.

Seeing all these positive reviews about Sharon really makes me questions whether or not these other…read morepeople are just her friends and family. "Super fast" "above and beyond" "extremely competent" "excellent communication and responsiveness" are the COMPLETE opposite of how I would choose to describe her. From the very beginning she has been difficult to work with. I had to work with her on renting out a unit at a brand new apartment building. Getting her to send out our lease was difficult. She kept pushing back saying she was "working on it" and then there was "server issues" and that she would get it to us by tomorrow afternoon (which was a saturday). Saturday evening I contacted her regarding the lease and if there was any issues holding it up to which she responded "Yes, it's the weekend". First of all, she was the one who informed me it would be done Saturday. Had she said Monday, I would have waited until Monday. Ok that was one annoying thing right? Well I let that slide because we got the leases signed and sent off. When I went to go drop off the security deposit I met her in person for the first time and she was really great in person (but where the heck is this person over text/email?!) She handed the keys off to me and my roommate and I thought that would be the end of our interactions. WRONG. The keys she handed us were completely wrong. We weren't able to enter the apartment at all because the physical keys weren't the right ones and the keypad was out of battery... imagine the frustration... Again I let that slide. Now here's where I just decided I had to let the world know my frustration. Our apartment is brand new and with no management on site we have to voice all of our concerns to Sharon. I have contacted her multiple times regarding getting our apartment cleaned before our move-in date (never happened). Maintenance came by right after our move in date to check everything and address the concerns we had. I had asked them specifically about the W&D and whether it was ready to use or not. They confirmed it was ready, so I went ahead and started using it. WELL they didn't bother to check whether or not the output drain for the washer was ever actually secured so it FLOODED our laundry area. Now I'm extremely irritated because not only had I addressed this with Sharon but FOUR guys came in and not one noticed anything wrong which in the end caused a flood in our apartment. After I cleaned up the mess at 1AM on a work night, I sent an extremely long email to Sharon addressing all of my concerns and complaints. I expected her to forward this email to the maintenance or management of the apartment. WELL she didn't. I talked to maintenance because they were supposed to come into my unit yesterday to fix things (which I reluctantly locked my dog in her kennel all day for while I was at work) and they never came by. This morning I saw maintenance again and asked why they hadn't come to which they responded that they never received anything from Sharon regarding things that needed to be fixed in our apartment!!!!!!! SO she been a horrible middle man between the tenants and the apartment management which is her JOB. I understand she has a ton of tenants under her management, but it is completely unacceptable how many times she has neglected to communicate the right things to the right people or address ANY issues I've had. If she can't handle this job, then she needs to get someone else to help or just pass the job onto someone more capable. I've let so many things slide but one thing after another is just ridiculous. If you need things dealt with in a timely manner and accurately, do not go to Sharon unless you want the biggest headache and to be completely neglected.
