An absolute nightmare working with Kelsey. I don't usually leave reviews but if I can spare one…read moreperson the nightmare we dealt with... it's worth it. As a seller who sold a home to this agent's buyer, all I have to say is run from Kelsey Payne. I would never recommend her to anyone based on her inability to communicate effectively, constant excuses as to why things are not accomplished and then complicating the closing process with demands not outlined in the contract written BY HER. First red flag should have been when she made a typo in the initial offer 100k under asking. For more specific details, continue reading the essay (lol) below. The earnest money was not received by our attorney for over a week. We received notification of items that the buyer wanted completed per the inspection. Items were completed immediately except for a simple cosmetic request (a quarter sized hole in a door) which was not required per contract. When we tried to scheduled our closing, our attorney reached out and was told the buyer didn't have the money and that we had never fixed the inspection items. Kelsey had been notified of completion days priors. At this point, I called her directly. She said that she wasn't able to answer calls because she was at a conference (she was at market for her clothing boutique). I was told the cosmetic issue on the door was the reason they would not commit to the closing time. I agreed to replace the door in exchange for a time commitment. A follow up email was written to confirm closing time and again, she couldn't commit. I reached out directly to the buyer and he confirmed time and date immediately. Finally, the worst part of all. 10 minutes before walking in to close, we received notification that our buyers were not happy with the condition of the home, and would not be closing until remedied. The home was swept, vacuumed and wiped down. Supposedly, the buyers wanted us to patch and paint every nail hole in the walls along with fixing dirt patches in the grass. These dirt areas had been a part of our property the entire time we lived in the home. Again, none of this was mentioned in the contract. Kelsey continued to say that it is a new home and should be in new condition...it's 3 years old and has been lived in the entire time. She then to threaten us with not closing and say she hates working with for sale by owners. Unfortunately, for her, one of my good friends owns a very successful real estate company and was able to guide me through all of the shenanigans. Finally, the closing funds were not wired prior to closing. Can we say "Amateur hour??!" Attorney had them do it while sitting in his office since it should have received prior. We have sold three homes for sale by owner and have never had any of these issues with any of our buyers agents. None of our buyers agents have complained we were selling FSBO since we still pay commission for them. Our attorney also agreed she was one of the most difficult agents he has worked with. She made it very difficult to get anything accomplished. I'd like to know if she handles all purchases this way or it is simply because she "doesn't work with for sale by owners". Since she has "sold 80 homes in the last 3 years", you would think she would have her crap a bit more together. But what do I know? I'm just a home owner who's sold 3 homes by myself when this is not my career. Good luck to anyone who decides to use her as their real estate agent or has to deal with her in general. Horrible!

I have only just arrived, and am already very pleased with tarragon apartments. the customer…read moreservice at the front desk was wonderful, and the lady was very sweet. The apartments are exactly what you would expect at a corporate apartment, and are very simply furnished. The rooms are very clean and the area seems to be nice and peaceful. This is, however, because it is only 76 dollars a night for a fully furnished 2 bed/2 bath! It was only a few more dollars a day for a 3 bedroom, so I am imagining one isn't too much less... I suggest you get the biggest they have available, as the price doesn't seem to change much. The buildings seem to be very well spread out, and each apartment has it's own balcony/patio. There are the usual amenities, such as a pool, gym, BBQ pits and ample parking. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and it is not far to the highways. You can book apartments through them directly, but corporate rooms are booked through preferred corporate housing.

Of the three buildings and apartments I lived in, building F was the best because a fire destroyed the original building and they rebuilt the unit, making it the newest building in the complex. The other two buildings I have lived in are really showing their age and need to be remodeled and updated. The maintenance has gotten better recently, although the painting, carpet and vinyl tile floors can look pretty sketchy at best. For the money they charge here, $685 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath upstairs apartment, you could probably do better. The walls and floors transfer a good bit of noise from your neighbors and sometimes finding a parking space can be an issue. There are some really low rent apartments right next door with a lot of foot traffic going right by. Another issue is the school district. If you don' have a issue with majority black schools, then disregard. Otherwise the location is pretty convenient.

Absolutely Phenomenal Experience from Start to Finish!…read more I cannot say enough good things about Alabama Marble & Granite, especially Shawndah at their Enterprise location. After visiting two other companies, I instantly knew I had found the right place the moment I spoke with her. From the very first conversation, Shawndah walked me through every step of the process to help me get my dream countertops--and she did it with warmth, patience, and expertise that's hard to come by. She helped me pick out the perfect slabs, guided me through material options that fit my style and the demands of a house full of boys, and connected me with only the most reputable suppliers. Shawndah made a process that could easily be overwhelming feel smooth, exciting, and empowering. I honestly can't articulate how deeply appreciative I am for the level of care and attention she gave. The Enterprise showroom had a great array of samples, and Shawndah was incredibly knowledgeable about each material and its strengths. She even advocated for me when I requested complex details like double mitered edges and challenging custom cuts. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Justin, the templater, who was so patient and precise, and to the installation crew, who worked incredibly hard to maneuver an oversized island slab into my home without damaging a single wall or floor. They were fast, efficient, and so respectful of my space. From start to finish, Alabama Marble & Granite exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for stunning countertops and a team that genuinely cares, look no further. Shawndah and her team are truly one of a kind!
