I feel like a lot of people only come to bring bad news... I was going to vote 3 stars but I see all the 1 star reviews that seem unfair. I gave an extra star just for that. If you get a good item at a good price and have bad customer service, you cannot give 1 star. I knew walking in we would be followed around and talked to instantly. It's a commission job, common sense people. The store is huge, beautiful, neat and clean. Laid out nicely with tons of variety. Blake talked me into more than I wanted, good job! I love the couch and glad he talked us into it! Couch was late, day passed, then two, then three. Finally showed up. Halfway through my order I called to check on my order and I asked once my order comes in how long for delivery. A lady said "a couple days". I stopped in a week later and added a piece to my order and asked the same question and was told at least 10 days. Let's get on the same page people! Delivery went great other than when they showed up they didn't come and knock or introduce themselves. They backed up and dropped the loading ramp right on my landscaping light and broke it. I told one guy and all he said was "He did that". If he would've dropped me a $20 I would probably give 5 stars. All in all I will shop here again and am very happy with my couch, just got a couple areas to focus on. read more

I got a beautiful house full of furniture for a great price in addition I received five years interest-free financing with an incredible discount. We purchased a couch here in July of last year. The frame of it broke after just 5 months and the fabric of the couch is already showing A LOT of wear in the short time we've had it. We called the customer care company about getting our issue taken care of. Since we have only had the couch a short time, they are going to fix it. For the amount we paid for our couch we can't believe how terrible the quality is. We definitely won't be buying furniture from Ashley again. So, they are going to fix the section of the couch that is broken (which they should) but getting it fixed/replaced has also been a nightmare. I called to schedule for them to come pick it up the following week but I never got a call letting me know the time they would be coming. So, the day they were supposed to come pick up the couch (it was a Monday) I called to find out what time only to be told that they had it scheduled for Wednesday. Not only did I have to take off work one day, now I had to take off a second day that week because they messed up and scheduled the pick up for a completely different day. read more

Do not buy anything from the SCAM of a store! We purchased a bed frame and a dining set. We were convinced into paying for the warranty that would "fix or replace" any damaged or broken furniture. Well, lone behold, one of the chairs broke from simply backing out and turning to get up. I'll put a picture of the chair below. I called the warranty number, filed a claim, uploaded a photo and waited for "3 business days" to get a response. There response was an absolute joke and my warning to all of you. Not only were they not going to fix the chair, I could not submit another claim of the same nature. This store is a SCAM and sell cheap, crappy, easily breakable furniture. I have to be honest - anything involving sales people gives me the creeps. Therefore I knew going in that furniture shopping was not going to be a pleasant experience for me. Some sales people just come off (to me) as fake and smarmy. They make me shiver. Accessing the store was painful. You have to turn into the Outlet Mall in order to get to the parking lot. Good times on a Saturday afternoon. Once inside, it got extremely awkward when we realized the sales people had started tailing us through the store. And we caught a bit of an argument about who saw us first. Classy! But we found what we needed, the cost was right and the transaction itself was relatively painless. Unfortunately I was a little excited when it was all delivered and plopped down really hard on the ottoman. It has never really recovered. Then the cat turned the arm of the sectional into a scratching post. Sigh. I guess that's why slipcovers exist. read more

Just came from purchasing a small bench at Albertville's Ashley Furniture. It was a great shopping experience and Pauline, who helped us, was wonderful. She was very professional, very helpful and very personable. When she saw I was on a walker, she first went to locate the item I was interested in because it had been moved and she was trying to save me steps which I really appreciated. Our sales experience with Ashley Furniture in Albertville was excellent but their customer service after the purchase has been terrible. My husband and I left the store ranting and raving about Tony & John and how helpful and funny they were and how happy we were with the selection and prices we had found. We have always found the best deals at Slumberland so were really pleased with our findings at Ashley. We purchased 2 beds for our teenagers. When they beds arrived one of them had damage to it because of bad packaging. My husband already had the bed almost all put together before he noticed the damage. He immediately emailed Tony who said no problem we will get a new one sent out. The frustrating part is that it took a long time to put the bed together and we had to finish putting it together because my daughter needed a place to sleep. We now have to take it apart again to replace the headboard when the new one comes. We also asked to exchange the box spring because the standard one makes the bed way too high. We loaded up the box spring and brought it back to exchange, well they ordered the wrong size. So we had to take the standard one back home with us and then wait another week for the right one to come in and then we will have to take it back again to get the right one. I have emailed customer service along with Tony the manager several times and never get a reply back. I would like them to do something for us for all of the time we have invested in this bed and the hassle of having to take the bed apart and putting it back together again and running the box spring back and forth because they won't deliver that. read more

My gosh. I have never been turned off by a sales person and his manager as I just was at the Ashley furniture store next to the Albertville Outlet Mall. We loved the pieces of furniture but all I can say is the salesman was an immature tool and his manager was likely his college roommate. The store was empty and they could have cared a less to sell anything. We asked for an additional discount off admittedly an already good price but they didn't even pretend to care and I'm pretty certain the laughed at me for asking. Most of the employees were sitting down looking at their phones - looked like a bunch of lazy bums. And the one sale they were guaranteed to have they let go because of their smug immature behavior. I am so turned off by their customer service I will likely never go into any Ashley store again. read more

This was the absolute worst buying experience of my life. I custom ordered a sectional in granite gray. Six weeks later I was delivered the sectional in BROWN. Paul my sales person left me a voicemail the week before saying the sectional was "in" and "looked great." He clearly never checked to make sure it was the correct sectional. When talking with the managers they did absolutely NOTHING to accommodate this mistake besides saying I could reorder the sectional and wait another SIX WEEKS. Terrible service, terrible communication, terrible store. I solely signed up for Yelp just right this review. Never in my life have I been so disappointed in a sale. Do not purchase anything from here, and if you do expect to be dissatisfied. read more

Ordered a dining room table bench, took a photo of the label and gave it to Nora Kirscht. Picked it up a few days later, spent a half hour unpacking and assembling it only to discover it was only 18" high and the one I ordered was 24" high. I confirmed with the picture I took. I called her and all she said was "Oh, you wanted the taller one. Sorry about that." And I have to drive all the way to Fridley to get the correct bench and then I'll have to spend another half hour unpacking and assembling that one. I could have been offered a discount or at least for them to assemble the new one for me. read more

Customer service and store manager for the the Albertville location were unprofessional and not knowledgeable of their policies. We were in Albertville, MN for shopping and decided to stop by at Ashley on 1/25. My wife and I spent about 2-hrs but didn't buy anything. Salesperson assisted us, and informed us the 12-mth financing was available with no min purchase (72-mth was available with 2k purchase). I asked several times if there were other conditions and were informed none. We went back on Sunday (1/26) and assisted by different salesperson. Finalized our order, but were informed that the 12-mth financing wasn't available because we chose discounted/clearance items (about 1k); but 6-mth was available. While we were unhappy with it, but we understand. The store manager came up to explain. I was very unhappy with him and his explanations. He claimed that the first salesperson was new employee and didn't know all the rules; lame excuse from any manager - in any profession. What upset me the most is that they ran my credit check even tough the store manager knowingly that we wanted 12-mth and the items we wanted were clearance items. I saw and heard the salesperson telling him, multiple times, the items we wanted along with the total amount. While the store manager apologized, but he claimed that he still didn't know what we wanted to order, in his explanation (another lame excuse and flat-out lie). Had I known the 12-mth wasn't available to begin with, I wouldn't want to apply for credit. I am surprised Ashley would hire/keep an incompetent manager who fails to properly train the workers and use ignorance as excuse (didn't know what we order). If you are very concious about your credit score, please beware of their practice. Have never experienced anything like this at other furniture stores (granted they are not Ashley). read more
