Fast forward to the next week - the day before the mommy and me classes - I emailed them just to confirm it was still on. And spending time with women who are in the same stage of life as me singlehandedly took away my imposter syndrome about motherhood . I made great friends with people whose kids are at the same developmental age as my own (which is typically SO hard to find). And the speakers who came to the classes are top notch . It's so much more than just classes, it's a weekly chance to connect, shine and grow with other great new mamas. If you have a friend who is pregnant, please GIFT her the Hello Motherhood experience . She will thank you!!

She was very laid back yet assertive, never overstepped, gave sound advice, and supported us well. She is a seasoned doula and knew many things that we could have never known, since this was our first. After our experience, I will never have a baby without a doula, and will hire again from Nashville Doula Services. Once the baby was born, I needed some lactation support, but was not feeling up to leaving the house yet. I hired Taylor to come to the house and help us with nursing and weight gain. She was super helpful and wrote out a plan for me to get the baby what he needed. She has a soft spirit and a gentle way of giving advice. We had an overall great experience with the girls from Nashville Doula Services!

I can have A LOT of questions, and most can be extra and silly, she didn't make me feel that way AT ALL. Then when popping in for a quick in person visit of the location, Bri was willing to do a full tour and go over any questions, even though some (many) were repeats. Lincoln, the owner, is so friendly and kind and stands by his staff and the right thing. The girls love going to Goldfish and the staff is all wonderful. Keller has had the biggest impact with my youngest, who went from timid and barely participating, to having such confidence and working to independently swim and choosing to go to him and play. Goldfish Swim School - Franklin has the magic sauce! We've had to juggle classes a few times, but it's super easy with their online parent portal. Make ups are easy, family swim is so fun and inviting, the customers are friendly and the kids are encouraged to play and enjoy themselves. If they were closer, we drive 30-45 min (and if traffics bad that can be even longer), we would attend every day for a class or open swim. I nearly forgot, the water is always warm, wonderful perk going into fall and winter. The pool room is kept warmer so there isn't the immediate shock of cold AC getting out of the pool. They also provide blow dryers, quick spin swimsuit dryer, and a chalkboard and toy/books area.

Before I signed my child up for the YouTube session in July I specifically asked Jeff if new material would be taught or if the same information he learned in June would be taught.Jeff explained to me since my child would came to the session in June the session in July would be a part 2 and they would go over editing videos and a few more new things than what he learned in June's session. Fast fwd to July's session I asked my child what he learned and he told me the same thing he learned in June. I have emailed Jeff asking to explain why I wasnt told the truth or even explaining what the difference was between June and July's session and I have yet to receive a response. I would have never signed my child up for the same session if I was told the truth up front. I feel as though my time and money was wasted along with wasting my child's time as well. My child did not understand why he didnt learn anything different and lost all excitement for the session. He wanted to learn more and the only thing he really did was have foosball tournaments, and not make a complete YouTube video. Parents I strongly suggest finding another camp that teaches Youtube basics because Code Ninjas main interest is teaching coding in Minecraft and Roblux.

Heidi is the best of the best!…read more In our meetings prior to labor and delivery, she was easy to talk to and very supportive of my decisions and natural birthing goals. Heidi allowed me to share with her some of the trauma that I had from my first birth and prepared me for what to expect the second time with a Doula and being able to make informed decisions. The resources she shared with me (evidenced based articles, list of what to pack, how to cope with pain, Bible verses, etc.) all helped to prepare me mentally, physically and even spiritually for my upcoming "marathon". And once that "marathon" arrived, she was on point with everything, including her wisdom of when I should leave for the hospital. Thank goodness for that because my labor progressed very quickly! Once at the hospital, Heidi really orchestrated and worked in unison with my Midwife and my other support people. She kindly instructed my Mother and Husband how they could help and even could tell my water was about to break and warned the staff so I didn't make a complete mess of the room (It was in fact Christmas Eve, so one less thing to clean up was an added plus.) Heidi coached me through every step of the way and said just the right thing to motivate and comfort me to keep going. My husband held my hand and was by my side, while Heidi helped with technique to ease pain and her words were exactly what I needed to hear to stay strong. In short, Heidi was an answer to prayer. I highly recommend her to anyone expecting, no matter if it's un-medicated, medicated or a planned C-section. Heidi has great integrity, passion and heart in all she does and I am so thankful we made the choice to have her as our Doula. It made every bit of difference!
