The rates for this club are very inexpensive and the management is constantly upgrading the equipment and adding classes. Nearly all the classes are included with the membership dues. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Occasionally I use the main branch and there is no extra charge (at least for seniors or Sundays). I also went there for the tai chi class given by Peter Wolf. It is excellent for strength, balance and flexibility. I still practice on my own. (Note: Peter is an outstanding instructor. He is so good at tai chi that he has been a judge at major competitions.) This club is very youth friendly. At the main club kids are especially encouraged to use the swimming pool and competitions are available. At this branch, students from St. Mary's often use the club at a special rate as part of a PE class. There is something for everyone from those trying to lose weight, rehabilitate, keep fit or seriously train for a sport.

There is very little instruction on basics and fundamentals, and the head instructor makes fun of white belts on his group chat. Also, the vibe there is somewhat "culty". We tried a community wrestling team the year before and our son wanted nothing to do with it. Gave it a half season but eventually pulled him out because of his lack of interest. Coach Matt, Coach Kale, and others have been very patient with the kids as they all progress and focus at different levels. And you'll have to have a few awkward and shaming conversations. I was excited to see a new locally-owned pilates spot near my home and I signed up for a monthly membership that included mat and reformer Pilates on October 28, 2025. I have over 500 hours of reformer Pilates experience including private lessons and group lessons. I also weigh roughly 300 lbs. I've never had an issue at any other studio. I attended four reformer classes in November and received no feedback or corrections from the instructor during any of these classes. Then, the instructor/owner Kait began texting me to block me from attending additional classes. She told me I could not attend Reformer Flow or Reformer Sculpt, stating they "required approval." This was never disclosed during signup or on the website. When I signed up for Mat Pilates, she cancelled it, texting: "I'm not confident we can safely accommodate in that room with the current spacing." She wrote "Our mat room is very tight with only a few inches between mats and I always wish we had more space." I ultimately learned that my body size meant I wouldn't be allowed to take classes here. What made it especially painful was that when the texts started, I went in to discuss the situation in person. Even after that conversation, where I was told I'd have access to classes, I was still shut out. Kait asked me to pause my membership until they create a "modification-friendly class option" sometime in the future. With no classes available to me, I requested cancellation. I sat with this for several weeks before posting. I'd hoped the studio would at least update their website so future members would know about these restrictions upfront. They haven't. I'm sharing my experience so someone else might be spared this embarrassment and pain.
