I highly recommend Russ, from Ashland Insurance very dependable Maette all my needs in a timely fashion. Very nice guy.

Received a call back from an agent shortly after I wrote my first review, which I think was just coincidence. Linda has helped me get great insurance from progressive, which I'm not convinced is the greatest company but having a direct agent to work with should be a good thing in case of any issues with claims. She got me great rates for commercial auto with general liability. Lowered my rates that I was paying to AAA by $100 a month. read more

Russ Schweikert was amazing at helping me understand and acquire life insurance for me and my family. I was pretty ignorant about insurance and Russ was super patient explaining things to me and helping me get through the initial process. It was so smooth and easy working with Ashland Insurance. I was amazed by how supportive, knowledgable, and professional they are. I felt completely comfortable and safe getting help with life insurance - thank you to Russ and the folks at Ashland Insurance. Highly Recommended. read more

We had been paying an arm and a leg to get dependent coverage, but one brief conversation with Tom Wilson from Ashland Insurance and I'm kicking myself for not connecting sooner. The phone call is free but I wish I could do more to thank their staff for their time and for helping to decrease the financial burden on my family while INCREASING our coverage! I've interacted with several of their staff (thanks Russ, Jake, and Brian) and they are ALL friendly and eager to help! read more

As a Realtor, I work with a lot of people new to the area, so they might not have an insurance broker. Matt Shilts is my go-to guy when my clients need homeowners coverage, because I know he'll take care of them! He will work with you to get you the best coverage at the best price. Matt writes my own personal lines insurance and he's great with service and follow-through. One of the nicest things about Matt is that if you have unusual needs and for some reason he can't find you good coverage, he'll tell you--and he'll refer you to someone who can. That's really putting the other person's needs first! read more

I am extremely impressed with the service my wife and I received from Tom Wilson at Ashland insurance. We sought out his advice regarding new Health insurance policies. Tom helped us to navigate through the maze of options, and find a policy that was within our family budget and fit our needs. Having an agents help made all the difference in the world! read more

Mathew Shilts of Ashland insurance has been very unprofessional and non-responsive. January 23rd I sent Mathew information for a commercial vehicle quote and tool theft policy. No response as of February 11th. I do not recommend Ashland Insurance and especially Mathew Shilts. I still await contact. Tom read more

Ashland insurance is awesome! I have worked with several agents there - Matthew Shilts has helped me with home and auto, he got me a great price and was very easy going and a pleasure to work with. Sue Carney helped me navigate Obamacare - thank goodness! And Russ Schweikert is helping my husband and I get life insurance. Every agent that has helped me and my family has been very professional, caring, and down to earth, with ZERO pushy salesman vibe! read more

I contacted Steve Yancey in August about an insurance policy that my husband has with him. We are currently divorcing and our court order states that we continue with insurance in both of our names. Steve stated that he would ask my husband for permission to add me to the insurance policy. I stated that I am on the mortgage and that I will supply him with the paperwork showing the court order regarding insurance. He stated that he would NOT make a change unless my husband okay'd it- even with a court order. Steve has been true to his word and not added me to the policy. If you want an insurance agent that kicks back against court orders, he's the guy for you. If you want someone who is honest, stay away from Steve Yancey!!! read more

Ashland Insurance is a great, local resource for all insurance needs. I regularly refer my clients (I'm a Realtor) to Matthew Shilts for fantastic rates on home owners insurance. He personally saved me almost $1,000 a year on my homeowners insurance! Russ Schweikert at Ashland Insurance is also fantastic, especially for life insurance. Super important for small businesses where if one key person dies the business will fail. read more
