I've been going to Dr Daughtery my entire life! He was the Dr who delivered me 27 years ago! He is such a sweet and personable Dr. He truly cares for his patients and it's evident in the amount of time and care he puts into his office visits. Ashland Family Practice was the first doctor's office I could actually get into, and all I needed was a routine exam and a prescription for spring allergies. My "doctor," though I'm sure he's earned his doctorate, hardly applied his skills. All he did was ask me a set list of questions and write me a prescription. Between the doctor I had, Dr. Doug Raber (I can't speak for the others at this practice), and his assistant, I only had my blood pressure and pulse checked, and Dr. Raber was nice enough to look down my throat. Whether this is specific to this office or doctor, or a state of healthcare, I'm not sure. If this is the extent of the trappings of a yearly physical, then don't even bother going to a doctor, especially this one. I have plenty of friends with nursing degrees who could have done the same crap. In conclusion, no one at that office made direct contact with my skin. I didn't get any examination for my man areas.
